Some constructive suggestions:
1)Add color codes to warn us when buffs are leaving:
green=over 30min left
yellow=10min left
orange=5min left
red=1min left
2)Need MORE icons, each subststat has the same icon as its primary. I'll let the community suggest what they should look like as I'm out of ideas hehe.
3)Allow 2 mode, one as just icons, and another as a table that will show timer countdown to the right of the icon.
Ok thats my input! =D

I completely agree with these suggestions. I'm sure they'll be a little bit more difficult to implement, but would make a tool which at this point is at best (imho) functional actually useful. It's nice to know what buffs I have, but I want to know how long they have left at a glance as well. I don't see hovering my mouse over the icon as being at a glance... If I'm in combat, I obviously don't want to divert my attention to that. All in all, a nice addition, hopefully it can be improved a bit in the next few publishes.

I tested the new buff box initially by foraging some food with my scout skill and eating it... apparantly it's broken for that too, in addition to the old crafted food items I have.

Needs improvement to be useful. As it stands, expect it to be a source of more complaints than praise, which isa shame, because it really is a step in the right direction. Just needs some more work.

I was really excited about this feature - especially the part about being able to debuff myself.

This would be useful applied to:

1. Fluke buffs gone bad
2. Griefers that give you tiny buffs so you can't buff again for 2-3 hours
3. Getting buff bugged

Unfortunately, it doens't seem to offer any way of debuffing.

Some other comments...

A. The time to expire feature is really cool. Someone mentioned a color indicator for time estimation... that would be awesome.

B. Items of a similar general category (i.e. stren, const, health = health) all seem to have the same icon, which makes it a little confusing to see what wore off at a glance

C. The HAM bar is still bugged so buffed bars extend past the confines of the HAM window. This is extremely annoying because there are lots of times you want to know your hurting before you hit the 1100 limit of the window.

Otherwise, it looks like a good start, but there's a lot left to do with it.

I think the new system is great, the only thing I would add to it is a way to remove buffs other than logging out and dying.

Some doctors like to randomly buff people without being asked, I know they are trying to be nice but if you are waiting to get buffs from another doctor that buff which was put on you by some random doc throws the timing out with the other buffs.

You could alsohave it so buffs from a higher skilled doctor can overwrite those of a less skill doc.

You guys are making great improvements, keep it up.

Most things have been said, I guess. I'll just post my input, repitition of the issues increases the chance to make it sink in, heh....

- The system and the idea of having a visual system is great, I love it.

- I would like a better differentiation between the different buffs. Different icons for primary, secondary, tertiary stats. Use color coding.

- Do food buffs appear? For the old food buffs, they don't but maybe the new ones appear. What about foraged foods? Spice?

- A warning before the buff goes away would be great: maybe the icon starts blinking 10 seconds before the buff fades away.

- An ability to remove the buff would be good, too.

Keep up the good work!

Just make it so that it doesn't allow easy XP grinding for docs: buff, remove it, re-buff, remove it, re-buff....

If by debuff system you meant getting an icon for state effects that reduce your stats rather than raise them, I didn't see any icon when force weakened by a nightsister.

A new “buff” system has been put in place to give players an easy-to-use graphic interface to make game play buffing and de-buffing easier to understand.

What are your thoughts on the new Buff Window?

I like the new buff window, but here are a few things that I came across:

1> Self "buffs", such as maskscent, should also go there as well, so that we can see the timer on it.

2> I had a client crash last night, and when I logged back on, my buff window was empty. When I pulled up my character sheet though, all my buffs were still there. I was only logged out for about 45 seconds max.
