I like it, but there are lots of bugs with it that I reported on test-bria that seem to be still around:

1 - TK's Powerboost doesn't show up
2 - Prepatch Fishak doesn't show up (haven't tried new foods yet)
3 - If one is under the influence of spice and dies/clones the icon for the spice buff will remain even after cloning. Buffs are gone as they should be and I can consume more spice right away, but the icon remains (at one point today I had 3 spice icons up... very confusing!)

Why does your stomach stay full after you die and clone? If doctor buffs are removed, so should food buffs.

Very cool addition.

Being a doctor, without any scout skills to makea camp, it was nice to know I had 10 mins left to find a place to re-buff.

Cool feature.

Great idea but you introduced an entertainer buff bug with this update. If you die with entertainer buffs on you can't reapply them until the timer ends <==== this one is really killing me *****

As mention after death the icons will stay.

There's a problem where the buffs visible in the buff GUI disappear from the GUI upon a relog, but the buffs themselves are still in effect. I buffed myself with a music buff and then disconnected and immediately reconnected. The buff GUI is still up but it is blank. It is as if my buffs do not exist. However the modifiers on CTRL+C still are there.

It sure would be nice to be able to use the Visual Buff system but alas, because of bugs I can no longer buff myself.

One bug the box has, is that, after i die buffed, the box doesnt refresh and thinks im still fully buffed.

Other than that, its pretty good, id rather have had a box that lists the buff type, amount, and the duration, not holding your mouse over the generic icons.

Yec, you are right.

There is a bug that is related to buffs. It was herebefore this patch and the new patch just changed it a little.

Pre-patch:

If you logged out/crashed after receiving a buff, whenever you logged back on you were 'bugged'. You lost your buffs but you could not be rebuffed. There were 2 ways around the bug. You could have someone deathblow you (quick fix) or you could just wait until the buffs would have normally wore off.

Currently:

If you log out/crash after receiving a buff, you still keep your buffs but the visuals are empty. Unless you buffed yourself, you have no idea how long you have left on the buffs. That kind of defeats the purpose of the visual system that the new patch added.

This I like... cant figure out why SWG didnt have it in the first place since so many other games (MMO's in particular) have this kind of visual enhancement statistic system (EQ buff icons come to mind).

It's great, but as someone suggested, some color code that shows whena buff is about to run out would be good. Also, pre-patch foods don't seem to show (but that's probably no big deal).

The Kitten's Diary, Day 781: I have discovered a most delightful way of making life miserable for my captors. Yesterday, I ate the woman's precious begonia, and today I have dismembered the amaryllis in the bedroom window. She is furious over the loss of her darling house plants! I find it highly gratifying.

I drink Angerian Fishak and it didn't show in the buff window. Can we get all buffs to show up please?

Logic dictates.... fix first, then add things. The #s of experienced players here will be leaving in massive amounts, and not coming back this year or most likely ever. This is what happens when ignorance and poor customer service is the norm, and listening to the few fanbois in here isn't going to keep the profit up. There's a lot of competition in MMORPGs coming out this year, and SOE will be on the bottom of the totum pole for all catagories except visual, woohoo. I have paintings for that, thanks anyway.

I, too, have experienced the client-crash disappearing buff bug. I got doctor buffs and they showed up correctly in the window. However, after a crash to desktop and relog into the game, the buff window was empty, despite the fact that I indeed still had the doctor buff effects on me.

Another suggestion: It would be nice if we could resize the buff window to a single row, for those that prefer to have a more horizontal rather than vertical orientation. Given the small size of the buff icons, a smaller minimum footprint for the window would be more visually appealing to me.
