I would rather they go back to corpse retrieval and have insurance be what you use to get items of that corpse you left in the middle of somebodies base.

It is supposed to not happen with faction deaths, but it doesn't always work that way.

Third incap is actually how most PvP players die during base assaults and non-one-on-one fighting, especially when grouped (because incapping everyone until they're dead and gone keeps them out of the fight A) longer and B) hinders GTEF 'exploiting').

Thunderheart, how do you expect us to put down turrets to prevent players from accessing the base if the turrets themselves are still vulnerable to the point-blank bug, and won't return fire if they're being attacked at point blank range? I've lost 11 turrets (4 large (2 dish 2 tower), 7 small (5 dish 2 tower)) to this darn bug since Christmas, and it still remains? This bug renders turrets nothing more than a paper tiger as it is now, and apparently as it'll continue to be past Publish 7.

Its something thats being worked on currently.

No, no -- doctors should not be able to use fire blankets or fire extinguishers -- only R2 units can use fire extinguishers!

These changes are looking great! glad to see the drift issue is being resolved. The underlying issue (faction bases being pointless) is still very much an issue. Player cities replace most funcitons of these bases. Here's a relevent thread on the topic:

Tere is a big problem with that because while taking down bases its inparitive(SP??) to keep your enemy down to stop clone rushing...

Correct... a lot of the less friendly players intentionally let people get up, incap them again, let them get up again, and incap them a third time, so as to cause decay.

Yeah the decay happens in all cases. I don't know what triggers it yet. I have been poisoned and diseased incapped then DBed, and gotten decay. Everytime I am poisoned and diseased incapped I get decay. I have been incapped normally and snipershot, which made me decay, but only happened once out of maybe 10 or more times. Most of the time when I get PvP decay is with poison and disease incaps then a DB, snipershot, or three incap death.

For the record, i have been 3incap killed hundreds of times since the no decay in pvp, and NEVER once had it decay me beyond the damage that i took (i.e no decay window upon clone).


i HAVE had decay occur the following way:


Die in pvp.

Loose conn while lying there dead.

disconnect and reconnect

select a clone location and clone

Hit with decay and had to reinsure.


This is the ONLY time i have taken decay where i shouldnt have.

Yes, the one time it happened to me that's why - it was a 3rd incap death (compounded by spice). Perhaps that's where the bug was - it didn't recognize it as a factional death because the last incap was due to a spice downer?

This is a step in the right direction but the fact remains. Nothing changes. Bugs Are still there!



TH, why does it take 10 people to tell u thats there a problem befor you believe them?



How about the bug whare u can shut the count down off when dead?


How about the bug whare CM can poison you from 100 meters away and with out LOS?


How about the "FIX" that makes a player having to be overt for 5 mins befor that can shut the count down off........this does not work at all!


Here are 3 BUGs that you no one has addressed, yet player after player has posted about them.

also these bugs are real and I can get 50 players to tell u about them if u need to but they don't want to post in here. WHY u ask........ because most feel its a waist of time because nothing will get done about it.

When will we get some changes that bring more players into the GCW? Ive seen bar brawls with more participants than the current GCW!


How about removing changing TEF to make people go overt when they gain a TEF. Grouping with an overt should give a TEF. Remove revenge TEF, its currently used to get into position next to someone and they cant do anything until the other person attacks, even though they know full well that the person intends to attack them. Have an optional popup confirmation box for when people are about to perform an action that will cause them to go overt.
