Thread: Jedi Feedback: Jedi Conversion Process
What did you expect?
I remember a few weeks ago people going "Guardian 4444 get 25% exp bonus on conversion! GIVE US THE SAME" Guess what.. You did. Now your unhappy with it.
Lots thought the box to box conversion was unfair also, they changed it to a exp conversion. Your even more upset now.
Face it, you won't be happy until you can get every single power/skill you had in the old system in the new. But its not going to happen.
I don't mean to sound like an ass, there are things I dont like about hte revamp too. BUT lets face it. There are 5 days until revamp hits live. They arent going to change the conversion process. This was a test run of the process, most likely if there weren't any hiccups this is how its going live.

As far as we know the FS boxes are FREE from conversion to EVERYBODY. They still do cost Skillpoints out of your 250

True, but if im not totaly missinformed they do cost jedi xp.. the most logic thing would be... if you have 14 skill boxes in the old system... you should get 14 skillboxes in the new system + the saved up xp that you have.
From 14 skillboxes down to 7 is not that fair and nice..

I'll repost again, so you can see it. Please read it, and note it. You can't ignore hard numbers.
Padawan boxes (at 40k an hour average)
1 hour for the lightsaber boxes.
35 hours for the healing tree.
35 hours for the force tree.
35 hours for the man tree.
38 hours for the padawan box.
Total Hours: 144 (at 3 hours a day, 48 days)(at 6 hours a day, 24 days)
KnightBoxes (at 133k an hour)
24 hours for the novice box.
2 hours lightsaber tree.
22 hours for healing
22 hours for force
22 hours for man
24 hours for master box
Total Hours: 116 (at 3 hours a day, 39 days)(at 6 hours a day, 20 days)(28 hour difference)
Guardian boxes(at200k an hour)
2 hours for the lightsaber boxes.
15 hours for the healing line
15 hours for the force line.
15 hours for the man line
(master box at 3.2 mil if fixed)
16 hours.
Total Hours: 63 hours (at 3 hours a day, 21 days)(at 6 hours a day, 11 days)(53 hour difference)
Total Hours for Jedi: 323 (at 3 hours a day, 108 days)(at 6 hours a day, 54 days)
% for each.
Padawan = 45% of all hours.
Knight = 36% of all hours. (9% difference)
Guardian = 19% of all hours. (17% difference)
!!!NOTE THIS!!!
Conversion Rate:
Padawan Boxes (45% of old * 250)
112 Skill Points.
Apprentice Boxes (36% of old * 250)
90 Skill Points.
Guardian Boxes (19% of old * 250)
48 Skill Points.
EASY WAY TO EVEN OUT SKILL POINTS!
THIS would be a regular TIME vs. SKILL conversion
Note: Tree is in skill point numbers.
Padawan boxes.

Used all skill points, and everything works out for the "total hours put in"
I'll keep telling you that you've got it wrong, until you change the skill point conversion from that of above.

This is TC3 testing. My skill is Initiate 4334, and I got 45 Jedi skill points. But I can only train up to lightsaber 0042 (42 points), and the remaining 3 skill points is lost. If I choose 0141 or 0033, I will end up losing more xp.
You cannot equip your backpack when wearing Jedi robe. So you need to free up space to unequip your backpack. You can still equip a beltand a ring though. Also you can use a PSG instead of the belt.
So you got 3,680,000 XP for your 2,720,000 XP.
That's not bad at all unless you miss all the great skills you lost.
So your saying, that the grinding he did for months at low jedi is worth that? Your not looking at it correctly.
He ground those boxes with a low jedi skill cap, the most he got per kill was 400-425 points. He deserves more.
It takes months to fill the first tree, and less than a third of that time to fill the next two in the current system.
Conversion NEEDS to be based on that fact.
How did the Jedi Conversion go when you logged in?
Answer: After logging in i got the box which allow me to choose my skill's.
What was the easiest part of the process? The most difficult?
Answer: Difficult part of Conversion is appearing Conversion interface, still unclear how many of choosen skills i can roll back by "Revoke Last Chosen skill button"
What was the most intuitive part of the process? Which was the most difficult?
Answer: !Still uncler how many points in new system i will have, why i got what i got. And how my current effort will be transfered!

Thunderheart, why would anyone design a conversion process that can generate an ODD number of skills points and convert into a system that only holds EVEN number combinations?
Well?

My bad, there are ODD number combinations in the new skill tree. Nonetheless, you should consider that that a conversion to an ODD number of skill points below 88 will also result in a wasted skill point.
