first offeveryone wouldlike some clarity on how much time each group would be waiting and what group we'd be apart of... secondly alot of people really feel like beating the sh** outta every single person on the SOE team... thats responsible for the publish 10... and thirdly is there a timelimit that we have to (once unlocked and knowing its our "group(s)" turn) to have the old man come to us or is it just whenever we log in and are away from a city? like recently said... anyhow after 20 pages and still no dev response were still left with alot of people with bad tastest in there mouth... atleast with all the other players leaving some of us group 4-5 people wont have to wait entirely toolong... heck we might just shave off 7 or 8 months of time because they're gone only to look forward to another 2 years of waiting!

Whether i was staying or going really hinged on this jedi revamp. Now the new system of training to be a jedi seems okay with me, if not streatched out a bit. However if people like me (people who mastered around 8 profs) have to wait too long we're just gonna get bored. If waiting a few days is the case then thats fine. However waiting weeks for something we have already been waiting for for weeks is unacceptable. In a matter of weeks my account goes poof. ATM I'm not doing anything apart from waiting to be allowed to do the jedi stuff. I don't intend to pay for a game I don't play on.I might as well save the money i save and wait two months to go to a better place. I like this game, but without any sense of progress it just become dull. Hopefully this gets sorted out. Currently its sounding more like a Parliment debate than a game we should all enjoy.

Heres my opinion on this.

I waited for the new system to unlock. I stopped grinding proffesions because I thought it was pointless. I wanted to switch proffessions when I got fed up and play my way. The new system sounded good.

New system arrives. Hmm. Many many many hours of pointless grinding to look forward to. Time gated quests. Start is effectively time gated.

So what am I doing now? I've got friends in game so I'm staying because they are. I'm waiting for JTL. I'm waiting for WoW.

May I ask what I hope is a sensible question amongst all the passionate posts.....

I play on Infinity where the population is =much= smaller than most other servers. This should in theory mean that the Village and its quests will be no where near as crowded as on other servers.

Do you have the capability to advance the gating individually on different servers?

i dont believe we should be put on a queue list..this is only going to frustrate ppl, yes i was there on TC with the lag from hell, but c'mon how do you expect soo many ppl to through by going months at a time..i dont think so!

I understand the devs position, but I feel there have been some mistakes here that have made the situation worse.

1) Post9 unlockers should never have gone through this intro, exit, trials process. Its even more evident now that everyone under us will have to wait until we get through which at the moment who knows (2-4 weeks?....considering it can take up to 3 days just to hear from the old man I bet there are even more surprises coming up...how long are the sith thugsgoing to take a week?)

2) Everyone is already upsetthat the past 4 months have basicly been for Jedi. Even though this made a lot of players unhappy, I believe people got used tothe idea of the CB being delayed so long as they had something to do.....which is these new force quests (content is not bad). Now you're saying they can't access it possibly for weeks depending on how long it takes us poor post9 unlockers. So you just waisted 4 months on something that has been built up to this massive let down because you won't even let everyone have even a taste of this new themepark (great wall of mist is blocking everyone)

3) By the time you let "regular" folks in it will be well past the first maybe even the second phase (my guess anyways). How is that fair? Now they have to wait 3 more months if they had planned to do one of those quests?

All in all, it wouldn't have been so bad but you guys drop a nuclear bomb on everyone all at once. First you say you intentionally made it harder as more players became Jedi, then explained how someone with 15 professions could possibly be credited more than someone with 29, then you say btw you can't get into the village unless fall into a select group, and last but not least.....oh just wait for the old man he will come eventually in the next 1-3 days /wink.

You know I called in sick today when I actually wasn't just so I could finish up these quests real quick (after all the way JustG described it I thought it was going to be really quick). Now I find I'm actually feelingsick after reading everything I just mentioned above lol. I'm trying to be as nice as possible but you have to understand you've upset a lot of people here and I'm guessing that is why this thread went from 1 to 10 pages in the matter of 30 mins. Just to think, Labor day weekend the only thing 95% of the population will be able to do is wave to those lucky players that get access to the village (btw, I'm one of those that will have access)

Forgive my ungratefullness, howeverI must air the following grievances:

1).

well months is a lil harsh more like tops a week for group four... I know still a b*tch, im p*ssed off to.

But getting to the glowing part is rather easy.

I know what badges u need(not gonna tell u guys)

but i did them and i am glowing.

POI's people think!!! jedi quests force quests poi's are there any poi's that have anything to do with that(hint hint)

ther are also other poi's(not saying specific names srry)

hmm i think there are 3 other quests with a story content... ya know slug people darth vader princes leia ring a bell??(cmon if ure I.Q is over 50 u get this one to:smileywink

i know its still a pain but if i tell u i can get all the abdges u ned in less than 3 days i aint lieing and yes u can do it solo

I never did hologrinding cuz it was boring and time consuming. instead i had some actual fun beating things up. however i have explored all the dark corners of the game and have beaten many hard npcs. i have done more than many players and ive had this game since July of last year and i may be stuck in the fourth group just because i didnt want to sacrifice my amusment and sanity grinding pointless proffesion that would not have anything to do with being a jedi (just how the heck does being a musician have anything to do with weilding a lightsaber?) i dont like this system and im going to have to wait weeks to become the jedi i bought the game to be.
