This is the way the system is intended to work. Visibility is cleared when a BH kills a Jedi and receives the bounty reward. The Jedi then accrues visibility normally and will relist on the bounty terminals once it gets high enough.
So does this mean that the DB by the BH will clear the mission from theBH termsand any BH that had gotten a mission on said Jedi will get a "failed mission" and for the next few days any visability generated by the Jedi will still get them on the terms just at a much lower payout?
If it is not working as intended then please /bug with full details.
This would also be the same if I were groped with other, same faction, jedi. We would still be ratting each other out to the BHs? This just doesn't seem right to me.
Visibility is a high level concept of rumors and information funneling back to the Emperor and Darth Vader. It'snot directly related tofriends ratting you out or not. It's more about supposed "private" conversations between friends about amazing things they saw getting out. An argument could even be made for increasing visibilityeven when nothing can see you as the Emperor and Darth Vader can potentially just "feel" a Jedi's presence if they are not extremely careful.

Is there going to be a fix for people grouped with a BH deathblowing the Jedi so the mission doesn't complete and the BH Gank Squad can kill the same Jedi over and over and over?

Do Jedi give other jedi visibility if they see them? If so why because it makes no sense... Other Jedi should be allowed to group together. End of story...
Can anyone that is a dev answer this question? I mean you answer everything else, but this is important to know...
This is a very complex issue with the overall TEF system and cannot be quickly or easily adjusted.
This is related to your first answer. Currently anyone in the BH's group can DB the jedi mark. The jedi suffers the XP loss yet since the BH didn't actually issue the DB the mission remains. This leaves the jedi facing yet another XP loss. While it may be a complex issue it clearly isn't working as you intended since the missions remain.

I have a few questions about things that are still not clear to me concerning Jedi after this most recent publish. I would appreciate an answer to these questions:
1. If no one (PC or NPC) observes a Jedi equipping and using a LS, is any "visibility" generated?
2. What constitutes being "seen" by an NPC or PC? What is the range? To be a bit more specific, if a Rebel outpost suddenly spawns next to a Jedi who is using his LS on a lair, have each of the Rebel NPC's "seen" the Jedi and upped his visibility? If a Jedi sees 2 vehicles cross the screen on the overhead map, but at too great a distance to see them with the naked eye, has he been "seen" by the drivers of those vehicles?
3. Is it your intention that a Jedi never be able to group with any other player, even one or two guildmates or, more importantly, a higher level Jedi who is training you?
4. Is it your intention that a Jedi must be placed on the shelf for periods of 3 weeks for every week or so of play?
5. Is it your intention that a Jedi never be able to hunt anything except animals and those only in the most remote areas of the galaxy?
6. Is it true that one cannot surrender the Jedi profession if one decides it is not what he wanted?
1 & 2. Can be found in the Knowledge base article that I reposted in my previous answers.
3 & 5. It is intended that a Jedi be very careful about how they act and around whom. The Jedi are supposed to be in hiding, those who are not careful are hunted down and killed.
4.Basically, yes. It's part of the reason Jedi are awarded a second character. We do not expect players to exclusively play their Jedi.
6.Not at all. A Jedi can revoke all Force related and Force Sensitive related skills and continue playing as a normal character.
The idea that a allied jedi would have a "private conversation" about another jedi is absurd.
If you want people to play together, which I think you do since everyone agrees the solo-play style that holo-grinding brought to the game was bad, then you need to at least allow allied jedi to group together.
Should Luke not have trusted Yoda and made sure to never practice around him?
Let me post a question to you jedi. How did Vader know Luke was a Jedi? In ANH, Luke did not once use a lighsaber in any visible place that would leak back to Vader. Do you not remember that Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine can see things thru the force? Palpatine sent Vader out to kill all the Jedi, why do you think Obi and Yoda were alone? When you have more than one Jedia in close proximity, the Force makes a spike on the Force Rictor scale. You become visible thru the force by the fact you are using force powers and there are many agents out there to sence that kind of thing.
Also, no one has ever made a perfect crime. Either lack of technology, time, or a few people high enought to cover up the evidence has cause some crimes go unpunished. Any Jedi using the force will leave behind some kind of trail, more than one will leave even a bigger trail. And Palpatines Hands have been trained to find the clues left behind.
The way it is set up, it is correct. Don't forget all the aspecs of how Vader found all the others. And also, why did Obi and Yoda stayed away from everyone else? There is a reason they didn't show off any powers, even to themselves. It was to stay off the radar.
I want a jedi, and i am working on it. I understand the results of my actions can cause me to be killed. I have accepted that, i also accept the fact that if i act, walk, and talk like a jedi, the empire will find out. There is spies everywhere, and it always makes ripples in the force like ripples in the water. Just have to remember not to throw to big of a pebble, or it might cause waves.

Provided the requirements are the same for both (general weapon and combat XP), this would be an equivalent change (1:1 ratio)
In fact, i'm only asking this because of the many people who prepared for phase 2, accumulating Reflex XP, then saw on the forums that whip's quest was bugged, and decided to take Dageerin's quest instead
As a matter of fact, any other players *mistaken* in converting general XP in Force Reflex or Force Combat could revert the amount of Force XP in either categories.
Thoughts ?

Well, now everyone knows what the "organic regulation system is, maybe we'll see a bit less neon-holders in the galaxy. I was afraid this game would become a giant Jedi vs BH and would have not taken into account the other normal people, the ones actually RPing for instance, instead of trying to rule everybody... I still regret the permadeath though, but 3 weeks is not that bad, at least we'll see different jedi being killed, that's a kind of championship to watch.
Now you've entered the path of a good communication towards us, maybe you could look at the other part of a server's population, the ones that have been waiting for some sort of attention since lauch, you know, people doing pistoleer, smuggler, carbineer, squad leader, creature handlers... and some other profs i didn't test but are still in wait of some communication from SOE, not even speaking of love from devs, just communication.
Between the TEF not clearing when a DB is done by someone in the BH's group and visibility not being cleared on a DB by the Bounty Hunter you have managed to alienate practically every last single Jedi on the game.
Even better, when we contact Customer Support we are told that the development team is aware it is an issue, but have not authorized the CSRs to clear the visibility.
I can think of no other reason than the visibility not clearing is the way that you intend Jedi to no longer play the game.
There are only a handful of options unless you want to lose the examples that the majority of your player-base look towards to encourage them to continue on their quest to earn their Jedi.
1. Fix the problems
2. Authorize CSRs to verify the kill by the Bounty Hunter and manually clear visibility
3. Turn off the Bounty Hunter terminals until you are able to fix the problems
4. Tell us straight that you have no intention of a successful BH mission clearing visibility or fixing the Deathblow by a non-BH issue which will allow us to quit the game and stop giving you money.
5. Give us our teeth back. As it stands now a Padawan with less than Master Lightsaber has little to no chance of defeating even a single Bounty Hunter.
We're only asking for the Development team to actually make it work the way that you have told us it should be, not to be some type of God character, just be able to grind without having hordes of griefing Bounty Hunters able to punish us for your mistakes.
