TOO MANY STUPID BATTLE DROIDS
I think the Devs are all teenagers who have only seen the prequels, and rely on a brief two or three paragraph description on the original trilogy. How else to explain all the battle droids we're seeing?

There are three ways of doing things....
The right way, the wrong way and the SOE way.
The SOE way? Isn't that the wrong way?
Yes, but quicker....

This guy is an absolute moron. Unless you pull out Mandalorian armor you haven't done anything. My group didn't have trouble with the first few rooms of the DWB, but that doesn't mean crap because we did not pull Mandalorian armor out of the place. And half of you couldn't even touch the specs on my computer, so yeah, I had no lag as well. Anyhow, my point is that unless you pull out a piece of the armor you've done nothing more than any of the rest of us. It is easy not to die in the first part of the dungeon, but afterwards when the brandy starts to wear down and 3 SBDs, a battle droid, and 2 Death Watch Guards aggro solely on you it becomes a problem real fast. People like you obviously have issues with the relative locations of both their head and their butt.
But, yeah, until you pull Mandalorian armor out of this place NO ONE HAS CRACKED IT!
If one more idiot says that this place isn't too hard because they survived in the first couple of rooms, I'm going to explode. You haven't done a darned thing until you've pulled out a piece of armor.
I've said what I wanted to as of now.

Ok I know the place is for the elites and all and I agree thats the best way to do a dungeon with a reward such as Mandalorian but here are some facts
1. Bounty Hunter armor does NOT drop in DWB (Intended)-Only way to loot is rare RANDOM spawns on some remote planets-I believe this is a good way to limit mando
2. DWB is Insanely hard the further we got we thought the SBD wouldnt be there, we were wrong. Most groups of 20 cant even get past the shuttle room. Everything in there has huge ham medium-heavy armor and huge restainces.
3. All the drops in there are insanely low, lets say you are lucky to get BH armor, either by paying millions or looting it yourself you must compete with everyone else for the loot drops for the Materials that have yet to be seen by me or anyone i know (each piece of mandalorian requires 3 loot pieces to make)
4. The DWB yeilds no rewards besides 30 faction currently, no badge, no items no nothing. Not even the 5th jetpack piece that is nowhere to be found in the game to make the Jetpack
Iam sure making the MATERIALS auctually DROP isnt gonna mean everyoneis gonna be running around in mando by far
You know with the droids, why are they here? Even better why put the droids on the corvette? Was it just to make us believe the DE patch was gonna give us uber droids or something? These droids have no place being here and arent a threat, they just take 15-20 mins to kille each and only slow the progress of everything down considerably
I dunno but I believe something needs to be done at least as faster loot spawns in the chests (chests havea huge pool of items and most of the time are useless data pads or art crates with old art in it), better drop rates for materials (or aucutally making them drop), some REWARD for going through the place, and through in the 5th jetpack piece somewhere and I think the place will auctually be fun or give someone a reason to go, anyone else have any non flameable ideas or opinions?

ha ha! welcome to star wars galaxies!
that's just the trick! they'll never get the picture no matter how much you complain!
it's intended to be another time sink! just like the starport times and the super battle droids.

This may have been stated before, but how about fixing the mission payout bug that was introduced w/ the DWB patch? This affects a larger percentage of your player base.

No .. there wont be MORE Mandalorian armor around. Who wants crap with 4 vulnerabilities ?
Anyway
I wanted to keep posting about my PAs attempts to crack the bunker and what I hear on my Teamspeakserver (they wanted todrag me(=Master DE) in assoon as they got the lay of the land, looted enough rebreathers etc. etc.)
BUT
No onegoes there anymore. Its not worth it, even if you DO crack it. At least for now. And keep in mind that this was a long weekend with people having LOTS and LOTS of time to play !
Some started to hunt for GOOD BH armor pieces on the adventure planets and said that they will wait until the spawn rates are fixed.
------------------------------------------------
Summary :
Big new dungeon , no visitors until bugs are fixed .... or as someone has stated: no more decay victims !
Have fun

All in all I like the bunker. It takes co-ordination and teamwork to get anywhere into the place which is a good thing.
What annoys methe most are the mandalorian component lack of drops. A few weeks ago when the 0,0 bug first arised I went out there as did most people, and formed a group to kill the wraiths/ghosts that spawn there.
Another group nearby were killing the Blacksun that spawned nearby and over a 3 hour buff period they looted Binary Liquid, Alum and coating from the *Blacksun*. While my group looted nothing at all off the wraiths or ghosts. Note this was when the 0,0 bug first occured. Since then I've heard of no mandalorian component loot drops at all. (And I can say with a reasonable degree of certainty that the blacksun spawn that is back at 0,0 don't drop the stuff anymore either due to spending 6+ hours killing them.)
Interestingly I read recently, perhaps on the test centre board that the only reason the mandalorian helmet took so long to get made on TC was due to the fact the Binary liquid/coating drops hadn't been activated until a few days before hand. I really do wonder whether the drops have been activated on live yet.

I have been to the DWB a total of four times now, only dying twice (once from my own stupidity - foods wore off as I engaged something so mind vanished and I incapped myself). Sometimes there are small to medium sized groups, other times there are just a few solo'ers farming Black Suns at the top (sicne they can't get any further). Either way, no one is getting anywhere near the bottom anytime soon. We're planning a huge foray soon, maybe we'll get to a conversable NPC even, but until then, some more observations:
1. I received both the DE-10 and Hack schematics (2 of these so far...lost one due to a shifting-serial number bug on cubes, though /sob). DE-10 barrels are so rare that the schematic is worthless, IMHO, but I haven't seen one made to comment on them. The Hack is a poorimitation of a scythe, however. I carry mine around as a showpiece, mainly. Why make it a single use schematic? The swordsman Corr. complained for a while on its stats and abilities, to no avail. At least make it a different damage type, we already had 4 kinetic weapons and you add a 5th? On one hand, I have a rare weapon to show off...on the other, it's only good for mounting on the wall or waving menacingly at passersby...
2. Again, SBDs can be taken down, definitely, but there are just too many and it takes so long. A pair of TKMs, a pair of master swordsmen (including myself), and my light armor/60% kinetic 11K HAM pet (I'm also a MCH) took down the NPC in the alarm room (thanks to the person who pointed out I had to trigger his arrival! LOL), all the DW spawns before he got there, and then the SBD that spawned at the end (planned or not). Over an hour in one room. Took over30 minutes for the SBD alone, and we had one TKM doing crowd control with my pet on the Black Suns that kept spawning in that room so we could focus on the SBD. I went through 3 muons and their downers on the SBD, that's how I know it took so long. I had med skills, along with one of the TKMs, so we had to stop every 3 or 4 minutes and heal one of us up. Once in a while one of us took a 2 minute break to get back mind. Most of us had 3 hour buffs, but if each room takes that long, buffs will wear off before you're a 1/3 of the way down and you can't rebuff. Our poor armor and weapons took a beating from ONE ROOM.
3. So we get the key, open the door, and walk into 2 more SBDs and 2 BDs....needless to say we were mentally exhausted and felt beaten when we spotted them and they agro'd us. This isn't fun, it's an exercise in futility and a mental drain. Who want to try to go down further knowing there is an hour of spamming specials ahead every 50m?
4. HINT: I know that you can walk past some/most SBDs without drawing agro. Especially in the room with the chest at the top, if you clear the Black Suns out and the SBD spawns, you can walk in, out, and past that room without drawing agro. Same thing applies to BDs in certain rooms (in the hallway at the entrance next to the first door). I've done this a number of times when I was alone in there. Imake no guarantee that this will work every time, so be prepared...
Still giving it 2 out of 5 stars. Tone this down, Devs...let more people enjoy the atmosphere and sights, solve the puzzles, see the new content. Making it so insanely difficult that groups of elite masters can't get past the second room should tell you something is wrong with it's level.
Still amazing that they think this is content...

Due to bugs introduced with this patch that have made the game unplayable (it now resembles alpha or pre-alpha software), I have been unable to even contemplate the bunker. In fact, I can't stay logged in for more than 5-10 minutes. I am receiving an error where my packet loss rapidly jumps from 0 to 100% and my ping drops to 0. Something that seems to have been introduced with this patch is effectively disabling my internet access to the point that I cannot even achieve a successful repair using the Windows XP pro control panel option (it says that it is unable to renew my IP address). This problem is normally accompanied by an enormous amount of system-wide lag as my computer tries to connect to an internet that it effectively cannot see. The only way to restore system functionality is to turn off the system (system restart does not fix it), wait a couple of minutes, turn it back on, and then use the repair command. Before you say that I have a network or OS error, the problem only occurs when SWG is loaded. It has happened at least six times now (I have spent the last three days trying to get from Mesric on Wanderhome Tatooine to my reactor field 7km east of Nym's on Lok). The glitch occurs randomly and without warning. And no, I don't have a virus or a worm or spyware (have tried several virus scanners including norton, as well as ad-aware and I use norton firewall as well as a hardware firewall).
I also have Norton system doctor enabled and have noticed no unusual behavior precipitating this system failure (ping rate stable until the glitch disconnects the internet, no packet send or receive errors, no packet storms as far as I can tell). I run with a dynamic IP address and have reset it several times in case this was a hack attempt, but to no avail. Until this problem is resolved I am essentially unable to play the game and will likely be asking Sony to prorate my next bill (like that will really happen - but I shouldn't be required to pay for something that I am unable to use for one or more weeks). About all I can do is log in, quickly check e-mail and then try to log out before it disables my network connection again.

PS: Although I have not been to the bunker yet, I feel that the new content being added is well beyond the ability of most normal players. I am not a casual player - I am online almost every night (when monthly patch doesn't break my computer) and am a master TK/high level ranger. My guild has several master combat classes, including at least one commando and several doctors. We might be able to make all the way through the Geo cave, but there is absolutely no chance of us surviving the corvette unless there is a way through it that does not require fighting (and if that's the case, what's the point?). I will NOT be attempting the new bunker anytime soon as I do not want to compete with campers, ninja looters, and the stupid people that think it's cool to pull 6 or more SBD's to the entrance just to kill everybody. Sony needs to wake up and remember that 90-95% of the people that play this game are unable to benefit from this new content because it is so high level that only a master jedi (or an army of bounty hunters) can enjoy it. While I agree that they need some high level content, they need to keep things balanced for everybody else.
Perhaps they could rework the loot in some of the existing caves and dungeons to make things worthwhile for soloists and lower level casual players (after all, there are 20-30 caves out there that would make prime targets for such an update). This would require very little content additions except for some new loot. I imagine this would be far simpler than adding an entirely new dungeon and trying to balance it. I'm not asking for mandalorian armor here, just something a little nicer than a CDEF pistol or one unit of low quality meat (maybe a new furniture or rug or painting schematic or a limited use schematic for a food or medicine enhancement that is much better than what is normally available).
