And do you think it was a smart idea to put in Jedi in the first place? Why even bother making the other 33 professions, when one is so much more appealing? Did anyone really think Jedi would be in game and 95% of the players would rather not be one? I'm sorry, they made an MMO with a class that is better/more appealing/etc. than the rest. It is the Perma FOTM.

The original poster in the quote had a good point. You are telling people that have been supporting this game (through thick and thin)for a year, that cetain content is not available to them. Heck, making the grind twice as long without the wait would be better. I just can't really comprehend this pay to wait mentality. I'm done with my template (for now,I rework it when i get bored with it), got all badges (except for half the prof ones), done all the content. so just wait? Wait my ass...Hope this changes soon. I've waited a year for stuff that should have worked from day 1. This is different though, my xp is capped. I'm not waiting on a fix here, but waiting to level up. That is the messed up part.

If I sliced and diced ye into many parts in the game and ye get upset and call me an Exploited, that be when, "Calm down, its just a game" comes into play.

People are payin' money fer a product in, which they feel its not bein' managed properly. If payin' money does not provide sufficient entertainment value, should they have a right to provide feedback or complaints? Or should it be, just look at the colorful flowers, if ye have a problem, shut-up and stop payin'?

Who are ye goin' to lay blame to when the population of customers are low? The customers that left or the management that made them decide to leave?

What you said is right on. It isn't about Imp vs. Reb. Or PVP vs. PVE. It's about SWG vs. the other forms of entertainment available to us during our leisure time.

I have no dog in the "hologrinder effort" fight - I left the game six months ago when it became clear that "4+1" had been replaced with "4+n" for a value of "n" which was uncomfortably large for me. The reward wasn't worth the effort, so I bailed. (I got rewarded for my effort -- in that I had six months and $90 to spend questing through Morrowind, fragging my way through Doom 3, and a case of really good beer!) I came back to avoid the character wipe, and to enjoy the content that had been added over the past six months. I've had a good enough time; I'd say I got my $15 worth. (Maybe even $30 worth if it should take me more than one month to finish it all. It's been fun to experience first-hand, Raph's pronouncement that players can churn through content faster than any Dev team can write it.)

The root cause of today's wave of unsubscriptions is going to be the fact that although the statistical evidence was widely available as far back as six months ago, but the Devs waited so long to own up to the fact that "4+1" ceased to be "4+1" six months ago.

(( And TH, if you're reading -- thanks for at least coming clean and admitting, publicly, that it was 4+4. The only flames SOE truly deserves today are the ones flaming them for taking so long to come clean with it. ))

if the village takes 2 months roughly to do ( as reported ) people in group 4 will have at LEAST 7 or 8 months to wait ... then they need to do the village for 2 months ... then other stuff just to Open FS .... then the real grind begins

and whats worse is allot of us have been on SWG for way over a year ....... WERE BURNED OUT!!!

now this wait and see BS is breaking the last straw .... I have no more energy ... so some new Excited player will probably get into the village before me .... im just loosing the feeling to work any harder on this game .

its like i got OLD and all the newbies are still so excited .... i dont want to compete with them to try and get in front of the line ... I should be alowed in because ive played since LAUNCH! and im SICK OF THIS GAME

Ack! I am kinda bored with my main alt. I have over 100 badges and 32 proffession, been kill/loot till my head is numb...I cant even get enough effort to log on and was hoping for this to get me something to do and back into the game considering its what I have worked for..

Problem is I have to log in and 1 to 3 days is painfull to sit here and stare at the screen. I am having a hard time waited 6 hours guess I am not lucky cause I cant bring myself to wait much longer....with notn to do
