Nice. Hey Tiggs. Can those of us that are NOT JEDI get some communication finally?...

yes please. i think they forgot that not everyone is or wants to be or a jedi or that they have a jedi and realized it sucks and went back to another profession. jedi jedi jedi.

I think SOE just can't figure out which 50% of their customer base they want to keep.

6. Not at all. A Jedi can revoke all Force related and Force Sensitive related skills and continue playing as a normal character.

Well, first off, it sounds like this is bugged. However, assuming that such bugs will be repaired, I query:

If I go through and unlock my second character slot with my main character (so that I can make my Jedi on that second character), and I surrender those skills with my main character, do I get to keep the second character slot?

Tiggs said: "This is the way the system is intended to work. Visibility is cleared when a BH kills a Jedi and receives the bounty reward. The Jedi then accrues visibility normally and will relist on the bounty terminals once it gets high enough."

This is not correct, in many cases the DB does not even clear the TEF, much less any visibility.

Let me repeat: The DB by theBounty Hunter does not clear visibility. You remain on the terminals, you will not have your visibility reset, you will be visited by the next Gank Squad sooner than you can earn back the experience you lost from theDB.

Instead of continuing toclaim that a systemdozens if not hundreds of players are experiencing as broken pleasestep outside the box, make a Jedi on a production server, get on the terminals, and step in our shoes.

Another option is to check the logs on a production server, note how many times a particular Bounty Hunter is killing a single jedi in a day.

The first step to allowing us to manage our own visibility is to give us a command that allows us to /checkvis. You want us not to play our Jedi? Well if we could know how close we were to crossing the line we wouldn't. If we could see that after we get DB'd we go to 0 visibility we would be sure that your words "visibility is cleared" are accurate.

There are many other issues at hand, including but not limited to the fact that Bounty Huntersbeing allowed to receive missions on same alignment Jedi, guild/group visibility for Jedi grouping with theirfriends, lack of reward (may I suggest removing us from the terminals for 1 day?)for beating the BH/Squad who come foryour (meaning no incentive to fight back only to run)and so on.

But for now, let us manage our own visibility, and be aware of how little or much we can play.

Congratulations TH, Tiggs, JustG, and the whole SOE:SWG Team

I completed the Senses: Survey Quest without a hitch. It was an enjoyable and bug-free experience. My guildmates that completed the first 3 steps of day 1 in Dageeri's combat quest also enjoyed their experience. Once again, congrats, and keep the content coming.

1 VERY happy customer.

I just want to throw this into the discussion: I have an in-game wife. 75% of the time, we group up andonly hunt with each other, with no one else around. Now under the system in place, if the only person who ever sees me do Jedi-like things is my wife, then I still get visibilty.

I feel that this is very wrong. If anyone is safe to show my jedi-ness to, it should be my own wife. What about spousal priveledge? I highly doubt my wife would rat me out as a Jedi to the Empire.

Just so you know, I'm not a Jedi yet and neither is my wife. We're both Rebels and council members in the same guild too. If there are two people who could trust each other not to talk, it's us.

Thanks for listening

Is there going to be a fix for people grouped with a BH deathblowing the Jedi so the mission doesn't complete and the BH Gank Squad can kill the same Jedi over and over and over?

This is a very complex issue with the overall TEF system and cannot be quickly or easily adjusted.

Then don't you think perhaps those complex issues should be ironed out before you introduce a system that allows for griefing and is causing many Jedi to quit? Go read the Jedi forums. Some of these guys are reporting 300k+ xp loss per death. And they're logging out and hitting cancel.

The system that is in place now does nothing but facilitate griefing.

It is absolutely ridiculous that you, or any member of the DEV team, try to justify a system like this by saying it's a complex issue. It's making people quit your game. Maybe you should simplify it.

  • All armoires, bookcases, cabinets, and chests can now all hold items.

  • I understand why you did this, but if it doesnt take away from the house storage limit then whats the real point?.. Many of us are resorting to lot trades or factories for storage cause we frankly dont have enough. So far we havent had a clear cut answer to why you wont increase storage limits in buildings.. If we took a poll, I bet over 70% of the players would want more storage. If you have any plans on changing storage limits, let us know.

My interpretation of this statement is that the Jedi will be removed from the terminals upon his or her own death. Is this true, or are the bounty hunters free to return to the mission terminals to get another mission on the Jedi?

    one question WHAT ABOUT SMUGGLERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you could have at least gave smugglers the skill to clear the jedi from the boards, at a risk of putting ourselves on them in the jedi's place.

If all FS skills are surrendered, does the player still suffer Jedi XP loss on death (although if no longer a Jedi it doesnt matter), will the player still be bothered by the old man every couple of days? Is there anything Jedi or FS related that will happne to a player that surrenders all Force related skills?

I am writing this to express mine, and many others dissatisfaction with the changes to the Jedi in Star Wars Galaxies. I have been playing the game since the beginning, and I have worked very hard to become a Jedi. I, and many others feel punished. If you’re expecting to decrease the Jedi population, let me be the first one to say you’re doing it! But you’re not only losing Jedi, you’re losing CUSTOMERS! You know, paying people! Especially Jedi who have been paying you for a great deal of time. Many of us are leaving the game entirely. The new rules on experience loss are ridiculous, it was difficult and challenging before, but I believe reasonable. Have you thought of making it more difficult to become a Jedi rather than forcing your customers to quit the game? I don’t expect any acknowledgement to this letter. In fact I don’t even think anyone is going to read it. But know that there are a great deal of Jedi that are disenchanted, and I speak for all of those people (like myself) who have loved Starwars Galaxies, and who have worked hard, not to be rewarded by our Jedi, but to be summarily punished.

    Regards
