"It is intended that a Jedi be very careful about how they act and around whom. The Jedi are supposed to be in hiding, those who are not careful are hunted down and killed."
Since you say that Jedi are supposed to be in hiding, then surely some of them will find other "light" jedi, band together, and re-kindle the master/padawan learner relationship for survival and to keep their traditions alive.
So you're saying this is false? If you use continuity for your argument please look at all the possibilities.
While I applaud your post and efforts to bring us information, asking us to /bug issues that are rampant (bugged terminals, Jedi being re-listed at max price after 3 hours, loosing 1.3 million exp when the mission being worth 64K credits, broken group tefs, missions not being deleted from other BHs datapads etc) in the Jedi forum seems silly. :/
Also, just for my edification, reverting back the 10.3 minipublish as you stated, does that only include the vendor change, or all the Jedi xploss/ bh ex/payment changes as well?

This is the way the system is intended to work. Visibility is cleared when a BH kills a Jedi and receives the bounty reward. The Jedi then accrues visibility normally and will relist on the bounty terminals once it gets high enough.
So does this mean that the DB by the BH will clear the mission from theBH termsand any BH that had gotten a mission on said Jedi will get a "failed mission" and for the next few days any visability generated by the Jedi will still get them on the terms just at a much lower payout?
If it is not working as intended then please /bug with full details.
This would also be the same if I were groped with other, same faction, jedi. We would still be ratting each other out to the BHs? This just doesn't seem right to me.
Visibility is a high level concept of rumors and information funneling back to the Emperor and Darth Vader. It'snot directly related tofriends ratting you out or not. It's more about supposed "private" conversations between friends about amazing things they saw getting out. An argument could even be made for increasing visibilityeven when nothing can see you as the Emperor and Darth Vader can potentially just "feel" a Jedi's presence if they are not extremely careful.

Is there going to be a fix for people grouped with a BH deathblowing the Jedi so the mission doesn't complete and the BH Gank Squad can kill the same Jedi over and over and over?

Do Jedi give other jedi visibility if they see them? If so why because it makes no sense... Other Jedi should be allowed to group together. End of story...
Can anyone that is a dev answer this question? I mean you answer everything else, but this is important to know...
This is a very complex issue with the overall TEF system and cannot be quickly or easily adjusted.
This is related to your first answer. Currently anyone in the BH's group can DB the jedi mark. The jedi suffers the XP loss yet since the BH didn't actually issue the DB the mission remains. This leaves the jedi facing yet another XP loss. While it may be a complex issue it clearly isn't working as you intended since the missions remain.

I have a few questions about things that are still not clear to me concerning Jedi after this most recent publish. I would appreciate an answer to these questions:
1. If no one (PC or NPC) observes a Jedi equipping and using a LS, is any "visibility" generated?
2. What constitutes being "seen" by an NPC or PC? What is the range? To be a bit more specific, if a Rebel outpost suddenly spawns next to a Jedi who is using his LS on a lair, have each of the Rebel NPC's "seen" the Jedi and upped his visibility? If a Jedi sees 2 vehicles cross the screen on the overhead map, but at too great a distance to see them with the naked eye, has he been "seen" by the drivers of those vehicles?
3. Is it your intention that a Jedi never be able to group with any other player, even one or two guildmates or, more importantly, a higher level Jedi who is training you?
4. Is it your intention that a Jedi must be placed on the shelf for periods of 3 weeks for every week or so of play?
5. Is it your intention that a Jedi never be able to hunt anything except animals and those only in the most remote areas of the galaxy?
6. Is it true that one cannot surrender the Jedi profession if one decides it is not what he wanted?
1 & 2. Can be found in the Knowledge base article that I reposted in my previous answers.
3 & 5. It is intended that a Jedi be very careful about how they act and around whom. The Jedi are supposed to be in hiding, those who are not careful are hunted down and killed.
4.Basically, yes. It's part of the reason Jedi are awarded a second character. We do not expect players to exclusively play their Jedi.
6.Not at all. A Jedi can revoke all Force related and Force Sensitive related skills and continue playing as a normal character.
The idea that a allied jedi would have a "private conversation" about another jedi is absurd.
If you want people to play together, which I think you do since everyone agrees the solo-play style that holo-grinding brought to the game was bad, then you need to at least allow allied jedi to group together.
Should Luke not have trusted Yoda and made sure to never practice around him?
Tiggs wrote:Not at all. A Jedi can revoke all Force related and Force Sensitive related skills and continue playing as a normal character.
This is not true, Tiggs. You can't drop the Padawan box and you can't drop FS skills. It's also being said that even those who have no Jedi skills and don't use a saber at all to kill things are still ending up on the terms and getting the XP hit from Bounty Hunters.

No one told you to shelf your jedi, youhave just to play cautios, not using your saber or your powers in public areas or in proximity of NPCs. You have to move fast so bhs cannot find you or just get feign death skills to avoid the DB.

Tiggs,
In response to a few few of your above comments:
1) Can we get a temporary fix to the BH/Group TEF problems. There IS a way to fix this, and that is to make it so all members grouped with a jedi are automatically on the jedi's /consent list. This will allow those consented members to attack same faction, and get around all of the current group tef problems that currently exist on the live servers.
2) I understand the idea of a jedi being careful, but with the requirements for leveling a jedi, you have to group with people to avoid sheer boredom. Afterall, this is an MMO and any in-game mechanic that discourages grouping and having friends is against all that online gaming stands for. Jedi is not content rich enough on it's own to entertain someone to play exclusively solo.
3) 3 weeks is way too long of time. When you're telling new jedi that they have to shelf their mains for 3 weeks to erase visibility, you are going to have a problem. You are eventually going to have somone that is a mayor or a PA leader that is going to be Force Sensative/Jedi that is going to need to be available more than one week a month. Plus, you have people paying a monthly fee, you can't shelf that character for 3 weeks.
#3 above is a very important point to look at, as this new jedi system evolves. 3 weeks simply doesn't work with the way the new system is.
Tiggs just said above that it wasbasically the intent of the system to shelf your character for 3 weeks. If the intent and system design is that way, it's not working with the current state of the system.
Jedi, and all of the things surrounding Jedi, are completely filled with contradicting systems, and it has really hurt the game as a whole.
