Did you talk to Paemos and ask him to "teach me new uses of the Force"? This is the 5th or 6th conversation option. If you asked this question and he says you don't have free skills, then it is most certainly a bug. Could you give more details? FYI, I only mastered 11 professions, 6 after my silent, and received 3 free trees. Also, note that Paemos can only unlock the trees for you. You have to go to Noldan to get trained in the skills.

It would be GREAT if there was a way to earn FS XP through the quests. Even 20-30k XP for finishing a quest would be great. It just seems that some of the quests don't have significant rewards, and ALL other quests in the game give some form of XP. It would also be nice if more of the quests would have "on-going rewards" like the 'healing wounded villagers' quest. The Crafting Quest for Phase I took me about 1.5 hours to gather all the specific resources... then all that was left was grinding for 3 weeks.

Please get this checked out im screwed now i cannot advance in these quests unless more sith visit me. i hope they do.IGN Marsvolta, Bria
This was a rather common problem on TC. One work-around was to go to another planet. The Sith Camp sometimes appeared on the new planet at a new location. Be sure that you /bug this in-game, too.

I concur with SirLithium that you should earn XP through the quests. The ratio for exchanging crafting xp to fs xp is ridiculous (from 120KAS crafting xp = 24K fs xp - no more exchange for me there!)since it is hard to grind crafting (no chance an AS will craft there entire stock of armors!) - tune up the ratio toatleast 2:1or 1:1 for crafters (a bit less for Architacts/Artisans). The other aspect for crafters is the humongus amount of resources it would take to grind for the XP, not good at all... On the other hand, you should have made the quests giving FS XP instaead of this mindless grinding.
To mention for the fighters that want to become jedi just can take mission, earn alot of money and then convert xp. If I remember this right, the Jedi isguardians of peace not war - så why letting ppl get easy weapon/combat xp when try to achieve Jedi initiate? On the other hand the magic is beginning to fade away from the game the more you alter the reality of StarWars and the game isbecoming thehunt for Jedi initiate.
Why not have classeslike Dark Side Maruder, Emperor's Hand and Dark Side Prophet so it atleast can reflect on the era -Jedi should be rare and be hunted down effectively by the empire!
I find the lack of good alterations, disturbing...
Otherwise I think this patch/upgrade is rather good.

Entertainers need to train in MASTER MEDIC to unlock a branch that applies to us (Sense) in Phase 1 of the Village. What a joke!
