What do you mean I can't drop a tree of fs training? I stupidly thought we needed to learn all the trees before advancing to initiate so I took the first skill on the list. That being the ranged attack accuracy, I'm a pike userDOH! ... /laughs at self. So I wasted one of my free trees on something I don't actually want, my plan was to drop it later and take something else. Now I hear you can't drop atree (what &^%*o% is this?)
Just to make myself look even more silly, the first quest giver I found while still giddy about being in Auriliawas for.... you guessed it 'ranged accuracy' lol. I did the quest eventhough I chose that branch as one of my free ones. Note to others "once you start a questyou can not dropit".
Although SOE info on anything is left wanting badly my predicament is all self created so players be well informed before making any choices!
Current plan is to attain the remaining trees I desire and keep as much of Doc and Pike I can and wait and see if the Jedi can be fixed.
Doing missions for Dageerin.
I did 2 missions for him. Now im returning with the 3rd mission done.
Dageerin says to me (and everyone else from what i see in spatial):
"Unfortunately, the Shadow has managed to evade our patrols. We cant find them. It's only a matter of time before we catch up with them, though. Check back tomorrow".
He is not accepting my 3rd mission as done:
My force crystal still says "Mission 3/8 - Return to village".
I dont know if this is intended to work this way at all, but at least he should give me credit for the 3rd mission i did.
Any input on this?. Is this all a bug?

Ha, the challenge for the bh is to defeat a jedi using one of the weakest professions. The only way for a bh to kill a jedi is to have some uber weapons, getting those weapons is a-lot harder then grinding jedi. Also, how is PvP not player interaction? Are you assuming every player you interract with should be your buddy? In that case the krayt dragons should take laxatives and intentionally pass pearls for us. Night sisters should let us in on their crystal harvesting methods, and rancor should feign death untill we collect our mission rewards. Please, less talkin' mo' faaa....
So you think that getting uber weapons is harder than the4 months it takes to attain padawan? I am sure that I could spend six months grinding out Janta missions with my swordman doc template making a minimum of 1 million a day (1.5 hr tops). 120 days, 120 million credits. Those must be some @$%$$% amazing weapons those BH are forced to use to be competitive. I find it highly unlikely that any bounty hunter has spent more effort on aquiring weapons than a jedi has spent grinding. I think that we can fairly state that the weapons, armor, food, buffs, and other supplies thatthe BH (player) uses during his cash grind are equivalent to the Jedi's expenditures. I'll knock off 5 million for the BH player to switch his template to BH at the end of this, so we are down to 115 million. AMAZING WEAPONRY.
4 months is a conservative estimate btw. Hologrinders took a little more or less than this I would guess from the people I have met in game. The village takes 18 weeks from start to finish.
Nope, not working.
We'll see in 3 weeks won't we... but i'll call BS right now since of your track record
that's nice... *cough*

Jedi should now be able to completely clear their visibility after 3 weeks if they don't do anything else to increase it during this time. Visibility is gained when drawing your lightsaber or using force powers for each NPC or non allied PC within range.

I really hope a Jedi who is bored enough gets on the terms, logs off for 3 weeks and comes back to find he's on the terms to /bug and CSR this and get a reply of "You must have done something in those 3 weeks to get on the terminals" (seeing as 3 weeks is a heck of a long time for an active Jedi to actually remember every single piece of combat he/she has done).
Im sure there will be one ![]()
Here are some more answers to your questions!![]()

Tiggs,
First of all thank you for the reply, I think you are the first dev to actually respond to a feedback thread with actual information
In regards to your comment about being clear after a BH kills you, could you elaborate that a bit as it seems your saying your off the terminals, but that isn't what is happening on live?
Also, the only effective way we have to kill anything in the game is to use force in our saber attacks. Now fighting a lair of spiders on Endor could result in me using over a hundred force specials, does each one add to my visibility? If so, I hope your modifier is really, really small as one buff session could put you on the terms, in essense buff, fight, sit your jedi for 3 weeks.
Spiders aren't an intelligent creature so it won't effect the visibility. Other things nearby however may.
This is the way the system is intended to work. Visibility is cleared when a BH kills a Jedi and receives the bounty reward. The Jedi then accrues visibility normally and will relist on the bounty terminals once it gets high enough.

So does this mean that the DB by the BH will clear the mission from theBH termsand any BH that had gotten a mission on said Jedi will get a "failed mission" and for the next few days any visability generated by the Jedi will still get them on the terms just at a much lower payout?
If it is not working as intended then please /bug with full details.

Tiggs,
So as I understand this, even if I am grouped with my guild mates who are all the same faction as me it makes NO difference. The members in my group will still be ratting me out to the Bounty Hunters? So when hunting with my guildmates (who I am grouped with) I am still generatingvisibility everytime I fireup my saber and perform a jedi skill. Thats 25% for each and every member of my group, each and every time I use a force special!
This would also be the same if I were groped with other, same faction, jedi. We would still be ratting each other out to the BHs? This just doesn't seem right to me.

Is there going to be a fix for people grouped with a BH deathblowing the Jedi so the mission doesn't complete and the BH Gank Squad can kill the same Jedi over and over and over?

Do Jedi give other jedi visibility if they see them? If so why because it makes no sense... Other Jedi should be allowed to group together. End of story...
Can anyone that is a dev answer this question? I mean you answer everything else, but this is important to know...
This is a very complex issue with the overall TEF system and cannot be quickly or easily adjusted.

I have a few questions about things that are still not clear to me concerning Jedi after this most recent publish. I would appreciate an answer to these questions:
1. If no one (PC or NPC) observes a Jedi equipping and using a LS, is any "visibility" generated?
2. What constitutes being "seen" by an NPC or PC? What is the range? To be a bit more specific, if a Rebel outpost suddenly spawns next to a Jedi who is using his LS on a lair, have each of the Rebel NPC's "seen" the Jedi and upped his visibility? If a Jedi sees 2 vehicles cross the screen on the overhead map, but at too great a distance to see them with the naked eye, has he been "seen" by the drivers of those vehicles?
3. Is it your intention that a Jedi never be able to group with any other player, even one or two guildmates or, more importantly, a higher level Jedi who is training you?
4. Is it your intention that a Jedi must be placed on the shelf for periods of 3 weeks for every week or so of play?
5. Is it your intention that a Jedi never be able to hunt anything except animals and those only in the most remote areas of the galaxy?
6. Is it true that one cannot surrender the Jedi profession if one decides it is not what he wanted?
1 & 2. Can be found in the Knowledge base article that I reposted in my previous answers.
