It's not even that hard lol.


We had a full group tonight and we made it to the mines but we lost focus there and died because of the gas :/.

Not every dungeon has to be tougher than the last.


After seeing how hopeless a Terras Kasi Master is against the SBD's I wandered over to the Maruder Theme Park. Anyone remember when quest's had an element of fun and comic relief? "Juicy Ewok", I about spewedsoda on the monitor when I saw that.


It doesn't have to be neighimpossible to offer a rewarding experience. Fun still counts for a fair bit.

getting one-shot killed and DB'd with full buffs/composite in the blink of an eye is not my idea of a good time
when i get some more combat skills i'll give it another try i guess

This place definately isn't 'impossible'... some of our team was comprised of unarmoured wookiees. Pony up, Live-ers, after all, we're just carebear TC players with low-quality equipment, remember?

first wow one helmet.
second I went in a team and we only had one sbd spawn that we had to fight. (btw we were all masters of something) and that small team got far, I can see if they had that type of whack spawn. Or maybe 4 tkm's Swordsmen commandos cm's doctors etc (but he said "small").
But normally there are a spawn of at least 3 sbd's in the bunker when goin down, before the big black sun spawning room.

The place is definitely not impossible, but it is very big, and very hard, and with large groups very laggy. I think the spawn rate should be a tad lower for only the battle droids and sbd's. And then harder as you go down.

I finally went. It was worse than I had feared. Not only that, but there were only ten people there. Nobody else was there, nobody cares about it. Unlike the vette when it first hit (pre-nerf) and the geno cave, this place was a veritable ghost town. That alone should tell you what a waste of development money we have with this bunker.


Also, someone at SOE mistakes difficulty for content.


And let me ask this question, why do you care if there are a butt-load of mando suits out there (jedi were supposed to be rare too)? Its not better than composite and only master BH (nerfed and wuss), Master commando (nerfed and a wuss), Master Ranger (you see a trend) and Master Squad Leader (not sure WHY these guys would get the mando armor, but I digress) can wear it. If you look at your own stats, you know that those are some of the least populated professions. People might master one of these professions,but then they drop it. So the point remains, why do you care?


Lastly, its really a shame that so much time was spent on making that bunker and the combat rebalance was pushed out.

Some comments from our Teamspeak from various PA members in the Bunker:


a) a Master Smuggler Master Pistoleer is useless in there .. go home


(comic relief: one KD of a SBD) ... (I do not have to mention that all used equipment was top notch) .... so .. a double master of elite and hybrid professions is useless in there


b) when they heard about the multiple vulnerabilities of the crafted Mandalorian Helmet ? I quote "What joke is that ?!" ... even when they nerfed composite armor to 50 % or less... people would rather use a composite helmet with 50 % overall and no vulnerabilities than such a useless piece of trash. The group has recommended to run the Mandalorian armor mod to get the cool look and keep the composite armor for some REAL protection.


c) SBD spawn rate .... sucks (they have nothing against hard to beat enemies .. but they rather scrap the SBD and fight against more and more Mandalorians .. MUCH MUCH cooler)


d) Instanced .... so many idiots in there who consider it fun to drag SBD into other groups. They could never go down alone, so they sabotage the efforts of the others. Not to mention lag .. even on ABSOLUTE HIGH END MACHINES AND CONNECTIONS !


e) If this dungeon is supposed to please the 5 % player population looking for a challenge, why are 90 % of them so pissed off ??? Which leaves about 0.5 % satisfied customers for SOE .... WEEEEEEELLLLLL .... bad business decision.


f) Crafters booted out after ONE item crafted ... which means ... a group of 20 .. of which 5 REALLY want the armor and the rest are helpers. ... 9 pieces each ... equals 45 !!!!! times to beat the entire dungeon ???!!! Ok, lets cut that down as POSSIBLY the AS and the DE can make items at the same time ... 23 !!! times to beat the entire dunegeon if a REALLY dedicated group wants everyone that has helped to be able to get his armor ? TS server comment : " WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT ?"

I know that feedback should be constructive and I heard some good comments about "Atmosphere" and grafics and the POTENTIAL of the plotline if this were to be an instanced dungeon, but this is ruined by two design philosophies at war with each other (plot-driven dungeon with puzzles that can only be beaten via zergling tactics .. HUH ??!!!) ...


but frankly speaking 95 % of all comments on our TS server are NEGATIVE and involving a lot of 4 letter words ... uuhmmm ... was that intended ?


And its been 3 days now .... no change .. comments probably getting nastier by the day (OR ... complete resignation ... "Wont go there again !", "Not worth it"




So .. somefeedback ...


First measure : reduce spawn rate of SBD ... they annoy practically everyone


Suggestion : replace most SBD with Death Watch


Fix no XP for SBD


Fix ridiculous loot tables (wait ... there usually is no loot !) ... an NO credit drop from SBD for heavens sake !


Make the D10 and Hack worth it.


Forget vulnerabilities on the Mandalorian armor .. right now its a decorative piece of crap and the armor nerf wont change that


Fix lag, griefing and bottleneck camping possibilities (would be solved instantly by instancing the dungeon)

OK .. got a comment that droids are used TOEXCESS by SOE as a panic measure because any non mechanical non AP3 mobs would be easily wiped out by an unbalanced PvP population of combat medic / riflemen ... which means the bunker would suddenly be easy again .... good point


And bodes ill for any changes in DWB.

looks to me like the ol' EQ problem again - lets stuff the casual player who has no chance of getting into an uber guild who can go to these new places afre all those are the only guys paying our wages!!!

do somthing for the casual player or you will start to lose peeps like eq did ( why do you think they keep reactivation my account for a month even tho i told them i never was going to play eq again)

i was hoping thatSWG would be diffrent

I posted in another thread that SWG was becoming EverQuest. I have realised I am wrong in that assessment. I forgot that the DWB drops items usable by a limited few. The major raid areas in EQ at least dropped things for everyone. Just when I thought my opinion couldn't drop any lower, it did.


I still hate item content anyway. SWG is turning into a farm for raising loot-mongers.

Hey, I'm a solo pistoleer. I stand no chance at these places. I stand no chance of using the new content. I can only fight at fort tuskin for so long without getting bored. Please, please give some content that doesnt require ubber defense stacking and such to play. Please, please add weapons and vehicles without placing them in the hands of those that will sell them for millions.


I feel like your forgetting a very large part of your player base here. I love that you continue to evolve the game into something great. I appreciate your hard work, but please think of the implications to the content your adding.

i feel the same way...... i'm going to in the near future go all combat but keep master pistoleer
if everything is AP2 or AP3 and no vulnerabilites, how can we possibly hope to help at ALL?


since many of them are droids, our bleeds won't help...... all us pistoleers will do is help soak up damage
fencers and TKA's i fear are in the same predicament, only TKA's get unarmed damage mods and they both have FAR more ranged/melee defense than pistoleers..... the only thing we get and they don't is ranged mitigation


i have yet to go to the corvette, i still haven't completed the geo caves.......
i'm not asking to solo the whole things, just want to be able to actually help in some useful way

I think its about time for the Devs to stand by their work. I am really tired of seeing them implement things and then never respond to any comments except for the rareinstance of the odd clarification in which they never seem to touch on any important issues.


This is your work. You are accountable for it. If your afraid of posting and then getting flamed, then grow up. In my workplace I am not afforded the luxury of not being responsible for my actions, and frequently have to answer questions relating to it. That is a part of your job so get used to it. We are your customers, ultimately you are responsible to us.


There is no excuse for the manner in which you handle things. The "ignore it and it will go away" philosophy seldom works in life and this is a fine example of it failing. You have had weeks of feedback from players on the test center and chose to ignore it. Or perhaps you heeded this feedback and are planning for something down the road. The very least you can do is to say, this situation is calibrated for future changes. Your stone faced silence does nothing to reassure the public that you are working in their best interests. Rather you come across as an institution who is being magnanimous and doing us a favor by implementing this devices in the game. Also your silence lends an air of befuddled ignorance to your endeavors. It appears as if you have no idea what is really going on and are genuinely confused by the demands of your customers.


I am beginning to lean towards the true ignorance explanation. I started playing this game 2 days after its US release and subsequently quit in August of 2003 due to the incredibly flawed system that I was forced to pay for. I recently came back and found that nothing had changed. You have not addressed such fundamental issues as missing mission payouts, Creature Warping, the frequent lack of earned experience registering, target tags disallowing late comers to a fight from joining in and "kill stealing" and a host of other issues.


This lateest endeavor you have undertaken has come at the expense of other issues of a much more pressing concern. Throwing eye candy at us is not acceptable. The dev team has had over a year of Live experience to figure out what needs done to improve this game and counter to all information you have received you continue to neglect key issues in favor of Game Box key features such as the Death Watch Bunker and Corvette missions. By refusing to accept the responsibility for your actions and taking the opportunity to address our issues, you choose to hide behind this digital veil and dole out information as if it was a precious commodity.

LOL guys!...hahahahahaha dang u guys suck...its not that hard...me swindler and holy-rayl were taking it...and i was the tank who was unbuffed half the time i was there!...so in short...MAKE IT HARDER!!! i had a blast...cause we could take the SBDs out in about 2 mins...it was awesome...although i do agree that there needs to be a sereous loot increase...oh and btw...if ur expiriencing lag...update ur video card...cause i was laggless the whole time...and i have a G force 2 lol...anyway...u guys need to lighten up...have fun
