Thread: Corellian Corvette Feedback
i tried it solo 4 times yesterday. it's a blast! the graphics are great and it's really fun to fight against those rebels. of course i didn't make it all that far, but it was fun anyway. if you go on it hoping to clear it, then you will likely be disappointed. go on to have some fun and maybe get some loot and you'll probablyenjoy it. i used the escape pods everytime i was down to my last wire and it's nice to have as an option. i didn't lose my buffs and it's really easy to go and get the ticket again. especially once you know where to find the docs required. i was impressed with the systemused to get the docs. it was a great idea to allow every player tobe able tosearch the item,instead of waiting for something to respawn. after you figure it out(or someone tells you) it's a pleasure to not have to worry aboutmissing thedoc because the place is crowded with covette questers.good job. this instanced adventure is how most of the other poi's should be. i see no reason to complain, but it does sound pretty tough as you get farther into it. i still want to try it with a group to see for myself because i know there's alot of whiners out there, and i know people are doing it too. i've seen that speeder. it's huge!
as an imp it works well to get the destroy mission from the emperors retreat because you end up back there anyway to take the shuttle up. i also happen to like the poi's you get sent to on that mission. the sif compound is fun for a bh, there are pretty good dot weapons and crystals to be looted there.

With good team tactics and cohesion, it's actually fun.
Our team on Flurry has completed all 3 of the Imperial type missions. Even did 2 back to back. Of the 3 type of mission, the destroy one is the toughest because you have to cover more area of the ship.
Assasination took us 45minutes to finish. Rescue took longer because we messed up a bit. 55minutes. Destroy took us the longest at 58 minutes. We basically were trying to survive the onslaught of the SBDs.
It's all about staying alive and real team work here. Good work devs ! Here is a new way to play SWG

I LOVE this corellian corvette. it is hard, you get a good challenge and the best is nobody can camp the place. The game needs more of this high end stuff.
To those who complains about this being too hard, better get better then and try again, it is possible to do, you need to think, to be fast and be effectve. Ig yo still cannot make it then keep trying. I mean what is the fun of sitting and lloting borgla cave or solo a krayt the NS? everything yyou can soilo, except this corellian corvette. I cannot imagine anyone sioloing this for a loooong time.
wich si good. this thing make you cooperate with other, play as a team and you get good challenge
I find it a little short sighted that unless you are one of basically 3 elite combat classes you stand no chance of doing any damage. So basically what you are telling us is, go Master one of these professions if you want to do the Corvette, or alternatly, get buffs and be cannon fodder for the rest of the group, oh, and hopefully the rest of the group will pitch in for your armour too!
That does not constitute fun, if thisWAS designeda dungeon for those specific classes, a warning might have been nice. As it stands, it is suicide for the Kinetic classes, which negates all but the Pikemen in the Melee classes, and the pistoleer... Hah, right, use what? a low damage tangle? For Carbineer, not so bad for a little support, but all the really good carbines are useless up there, and so on and so forth.
Honestly, armour is worth more than the loot from the Corvette, that and pounding on something for 5 minutes with the HAM not even moving is not fun. I don't think insane HAMs are that bad, but when nearly all of the people I know are not in the 3 classes that can actually do any damage up there, *shrug* How is this fun? How is this anything other than the Devs telling us what classes to play again?
It is broken, and to those who say "Well just group with a <insert class here>" I answer, I would rather play with my friends than have to find someone who I don't know, have not fought with, and therefore don't trust IC or OOCto make this viable.
To those who say "Well just Master <insert class here> then" I say, I have built my char the way I want it for RP purposes as well as combat, and last time I checked this is still an MMO *RPG*
Short sighted, the miserably failed attempt at"balance" for the melee classes has been to up all the resists on many of the higher level mobs to 95-100% Kinetic Resist and sadly this "new content" follows that course.
