I want to know when we will start seeing blasters on vehicles. I love my swoopbike, but it's not half of what it should be without being able to shoot down something while riding it. Maybe Master Artisans should be able to craft vehicle upgrades that you can attach to your vehicle to give you a certain upgrade, like armor, speed, blasters, etc.


Also, ever since the /citywarn command was taken out, there's been no real way to protect a city from an invasion from the opposing faction except by faction bases. Will there be a new command added into the game to allow militia members to be able to defend their city from an emergency?

What discussion? There is no common theme aside from "SW" running in this thread. It's 200 people saying200 different things, 99% of which got no direct feedback. The Feeback that was recieved was you telling someone to move the post to some other forum.

1 Thing, If i May, i'd like to get the max entertainer limit in any cantina set to 20 people, i mean listen to my situation.


we all know how bad the lag is in coronet, correct?


before christmans i was running a system with an Athalon 1800+ (1.1ghz) 512 megs of SDRAM PC 133,an Radeon 8500 le w/ 128 ddr emmory (AGP).


i am running a system with a 2.8 ghz p4, 512 megs of ddr (266) ram, a raedeon 8500le w/ 128 megs of ddr memory (AGP) . and i defrag my harddrive every night after i go to sleep.


yet last nigth i was in the cantina in coronet, the game locked up and was using 422 megs of my 512 max.


so i go to reload and it takes me 8 minute 8 whole minutes just to finish loading, after that it took me 4 minutes to walk outside of the cantina, while i realize i'm not running the best system in the world, it's far better than the old system i was running, and it lags even worse now then when i had my old system (before the vehicle patch)


while i realize you guys are trying to eliminate some lag, i think a hard cap of 20 entertainers, MAX in a cantina would be more than enough.


while my system was frozen i saw roughly 47 people in coronet's cantina AFK macroing an entertainer profession.


if you put a hard cap of 20 "performing" entertainers per cantina, i think the population would spread out a bit more, and some of your lag issues could be fixed.


Please let me know something can be done about this, i'm sick of having my computer lock up every time i try to get my mind healed, because coronet's cantina is the only place where you'll knwo there will be entertainers.


a cap like this would ensure the use of other cantinas and might make some entertainers take to player cities.

I agree with you completely. Theed on Naboo is the same way at least 50 people in it at al times adnd to lag suxs.


I run a athlon xp 2400+ 700plus megs DDR 266 and a readon 9700 Pro on a Abit board and graphic almost all the way up. I see it dip into the 15's on frame rates. But I did for awhile hav freezing and crashing problems. What I did was from the launch pad was a full scan and it checked the integrity of the game files, since then everything seems good. Lag but no crashed I would try that and see. Maybe a shot. But I totally agree with capping the marco afk grinders. What i think.

Will AT ATwalkers be going live soon? Will they spawn around current player imperial bases? Will AT ST's ever become vehicles? When will the space exp pack be on test center or as a seperate beta?

Abnout all I can think of right now is to grant badges to players who have completed themeparks prior to the recent patch. Such as Jabba's palace and the rebel themepark among others.

If you look real closely in Phantom Menace, there's one scene where you can see the tiny little tent and campfire where the Trade Federation pulled out their droid army when they took over Naboo.

Why is decay beingremoved from PvP but not PvE? That's just retarded. Stop trying to make 1 game into 2 different games with different rules for each.

but it actually is 2 games in one buddy....there are people who strictly pvp and there are people who never touch pvp and strictly pve...and then theres people that do both. and both pvp and pve need their own set of rules. u anwsered ur own complaint

Why did I even come back here? OH Yeah I was HOPING something changed. HEY you know what it did! We are up to page 19 now and still no "discussion" from anyone.


Haven't you guys figured this out yet? It is all about server load. Essentially this is how it works. These message boards run on a database, this one is probably MySQL but I could be wrong.. either way the way this board has grown any board that is approaching one million posts is going to before long break the poor mySQL database. It gets worse because not only do you have the different posts to keep track of, you also have the different topics in that forum to track. So this way they limit the number of topics that will be on the server and hopefully drive the player base crazy enough that they will just go away.


Haven't you guys noticed the change in performance since they made this change? Sometimes it took me 5 minutes to get to the Discussion Forum.


Once again instead of making the product better, they just nerf it. This whole thing about generating better communication is just another ploy used to put a good spin on something that is negative and not going to be well received.


Of course TH will come back with something about how "busy" he is, and how "there are so many cool things in the works" and "I really can't say anything more about it!" Blah blah blah, of course we will slurp it up like the good little lemmings that we are. There will always be one fanboi that will be ther first to post "OH COOL TH, WOW I can't wait, we are glad to have you back" blah blah blah. In the end it will be business as usual.


Maybe I am just too synical, it's not like any of you have time to read this either so this is really only for my own benefit!

yes he always seems overly busy for someones whose job consists of posting things to a forum...i meanjeassa posts more than TH or the devs..they are always compiling lists that never seem to get posted. or writing patch notes that never get posted. or writing answers that never get posted.


as someone else said...i have never seenso much comminicating ABOUT communicating...but they never seem to actually have any info on anything else.


i say next week we all just boycott this thread and post nothing here at all
