If we can wear Composite, why not Mandalorian armor? I mean, it doesn't matter who wears it... it is wearable by everybody, dancer or musician. Hey, make a Mandalorian profession! lol

PLEASE do not make the armor schematics. armorsmiths get to much in this game. all major loots and rare things are made for armorsmiths and weaponsmiths. geo caves is basicly for weaponsmiths since the good weapons are made by them. ris armor again must have an armorsmith. Mandalorian armor should be only be looted or given from quests. NOSCHEMATICS!

Lets Just drag it out till the game dies off, youve had the armor since launch and nothing yet? Is this what we can expect for the rest of our SWG days, or till this game last

I know you guys are over worked and under payed, blah blah blah, so hire mor developers, this wating half a year for this to be implemented into game is unsat.

I know you arent "the Man" who is running the show fully, meaning if you can get more devs to lighten the load you would, or more money to do so. But who ever the man is you need to break something down for him/her. This game is slowly dieing, I see tons of people leaving every Patch, waiting to see if the next patch is worth staying, o wait it isnt did it in 1-3 days. Now I have to wait a Month+ for something new to do.

You guys can keep reallying on new players to keep joining SWG, you need to worry about the old players that have waited a year + to play a game they thought would be better then sliced bread.

You need to do something drastic soon, or it will be too late........................"vent off"

Adniraljz posted this list as a suggestion for those that should be able to wear Mando. Add "master" to the beginning of all of those and I guess It'll be acceptable.

Commando
Squad Leader
Rifleman
Carbineer
Pistoleer
Swordsman
Pikeman
Bounty Hunter

True, Mando isn't Bounty Hunter armor exculsively, but Jengo and Boba were the best of the best, so why not make sure that only the best of the best (i.e.- masters in combat professions) can wear it. I'm a BH, and if I had the choice, I'd say just Master Bounty Hunters could wear it, not because they are bounty hunters, but because this is Star Wars, and in Star Wars, only Jengo and Boba wore Mando that we ever saw. I agree with things being fair to all, but what happens when we change things to make them fair so much that it doesn't feel like Star Wars any more, but more like Space Balls? When you have a novice marksman who has rich friends, or has access to e-bay wearing the uber stuff, and a Master BH wearing Ubese, there's a problem.

If BHs wont be the only people to wear mandalorina armour, why is it that Bounty Hunter Trainers wear mandalorian armour in-game? And why is it that the bounty hunter missions are represented as a mandalorian helmet?

Double standards? Marketing?

Everyone seems to agree that the Mandalorians were mercenaries. By definition a mercenary is someone hired for services in a foreign army. They were either paid for their services, or received some sort of other gain. Therefore, by definition (and its use in the Star Wars universe) this armor should be restricted to Bounty Hunters and Commandos ONLY. It should be available only to those who have mastered those professions to prevent dabblers. The armor should become unwearable if these professions are surrendered.

This is an MMORPG and you're never going to make everyone happy. I would rather see this armor remain out of the game than to make it available to everyone. It would just be another slap in the face ranking right up there with cowardly Jedi who log off to avoid bounties to see everyone and their brother wearing Mandalorian armor.

If the armor is made available, I would like to see it be able to be colored (similar to composite) so that not everyone's looks the same.

With Mandolorian Armor being introduced into the game it should only be used by Bounty Hunters because in some ways they are the only ones if anyone who would ever need to use it and could in a logical sense afford it. One thign that supports this is that Mandolorian Armor is Force Resitant. Now the last time ic hecked Bh's hunt Jedi character if able. So they shoould get this armor. I think SOE and SWG need to intergrate say five to six new types of armor because right now and everyone knows this without a doubt that no pvper is walking around in ubese or even padded they are rocking compoite with a 40 stun. I'd just as soon be happy to see it made available to Master Bounty Hunters only with the requirement being they have to keep the title to wear it. I think some profession specialized armors are great ideas, even adding a few variants of each.

yes commandos and bounty hunters only. Mandalorian armor was worn by the best in combat...so how is a dancer a combat profession. sure they could be a dancer and commando fine then its ok. but you should have the title master commando or master bounty hunter in order to wear this armor. Bounty hunter and commando are supposed to be the best professions in the game and yet they are really left out. only up side to it is you get to use a scatter pistol and flamethrower. seriously, people dont even master these professions anymore since only one tree of the profession is good.

bounty hunters have to go through investigation and commandos have to get all heavy weapons xp with slow and unaccruate weapons. so these two professions should get a reward for this.

I do think anyone should be able to wear it if they want (withh exceptions for race). I still dont see why there isnt a cert system for armor just like weapons. Where you have to be a certain class at a certain level to get full proficiency from its defense capabilities or to decrease high encumberances. Again i would like to chime in with others on the BH only cry... Mandalorians werent BH's the were mercenaries. So i can see commando and even master marksmen. And i say too, why a scem drop.. give the actual piece, armor/weaponsmiths are wildly wealthy, give us players a break who cant afford to pay 10 mil for one piece of armor (and i can gaurantee thats what it would be going for)

At the very least Mandalorian Armor should be restricted to the masters of elite combat professions and possibly Squad Leader.

The only time Mandalorian Armor is mentioned in the Star Wars universe outside the Mandalorian mercenarieswhofirst used it is by the armor being used by Bounty Hunters, firstby JangoFett, then by Boba Fett, last by another BH I forget his name but it is mentioned in "Tales of the Bounty Hunters." All three of these BH's are top of their profession, masters. So that's for all you people whowant the game tofeel like you are in the Star Wars universe.

Mandalorian Armor should be better than Composite since it is considered to be the best armor. I don't expect Mandalorian Armor in the game to be like it is in the books with the cable that can wrap up enemies and not the 360 degree view, however it should still offer more protection than composite does. The devs won't take armorsmiths out of the loop all the way on this although that is how it should be. I suppose with leaving armorsmiths something to do for this just have them repair it or something and have the armor tied to the person who does the quest to get the armor. No schematic, no running around killing kimos for components, just have the armorsmiths repair for the person who completed the quest, and the armor should only be wearable by the person who completes the quest.

Next I wouldlike to go into game balance.TheBH professionis probably the most useless profession for the amount of skill points worse than Image designer. Giving Mandalorian Armor to only BH's would help balance out the game some (someone can kick me for saying this I'm sure most of you will want to.)

If you aren't going to limit the armor to only the elite combat professions just leave it out of the game and tell us the Nar Shada Hutts stole all the Mandalorian Armor.

1. People are right Mandalorian's where not bounty hunters so the armour should not be restricted, bounter hunters can still dance if they have the skills so why should dancers or anyone else not be able to wear it.

2. It should be a rare drop, please dont make it one location tho we have enough people camping and afk looting scripting spawns as it is. Try to solve this problem no point recreating another bat cave.

3. The armour should drop as schemes for armoursmiths to make, they should use rare resources like the heavy leather, etc, but they should also require items from other professions such as cloth, for tailors.

4. Yes armoursmith will charge a lot of this armour but so what, combat classes can do 25k missions in 10 minutes and less loot items at high prices.

Not sure how they would implement this. Wouldnt make sense for it to be a schematic quest since you would need schematic for each piece of armor, if its anything like composite you would need 9 schematics to make all the seperate pieces. Odds are the way it will work is you will completeseveral quests and receive a full suit of armor as your reward. Now i'm sure they will make the quests extreamly hard so only warriors would be able to complete them, so that should limit who gets a suit of it. Unless they sell it to a dancer hehe.

Then again they could have 9 quests and receive a schematic for each quest completed. If they did do this i'm sure a person could only do the quest once, so that would limit how many suits of armor are made in the game world.

As far as those who complain us armorsmiths make to much money, it cost me 2 million just to get 2 woolmander bone fragments and 1 gurk king hide, I got this from a Master Rifleman/TK, so dont tell me armorsmiths are the only ones that get rich, you warriors can make serious money to if you'll stop pvp for a min and hunt down the creatures armorsmiths need to make armor like RIS armor. If you did you would see alot more RIS armor in the game, being most armorsmith dont have the warrior skills to defeat them.
