Thread: Publish 8.2 Feedback: Death Watch Bunker

Soon 20 pages and no more Dev comments.
Looks like they wait for about a week (especially with the upcoming long weekend) and see if someone figures out the tricks and exploits in the bunker (like walking masked/camoed in the corvette). Then they will change something. Basically all our feedback from the first days is not as important to them .... they only want to hear from those who FINISH the quest.
And - like the TC crew with one month experience in the DWB layout and enemies - those who finish it will then say ... "HEY, it was not THAT hard !!!" Correct me if I am wrong but that is the first time ANY TC crew finished the quest ? Which means ... the devs pushed this to live without the quest ever having been finished in testing ? BTW .. thanks to all TC people !!!!)
I would like to see the groups who did it wince when theytally up the cost in weapons, armor, food it took to get them down there ... AND when they realize that they have to do it 5-10 times again to help the others who accompanied them. AND THEN multiply that by 5 times more so people can get aWHOLE suit !!!Do you really think you can craft a whole suit in 5 min in a heavy lagarea where EVERYCLICKtakes 30 seconds ?
Have fun

Master DE, Naritus (will be waiting AT LEAST 2 weeks before I go anywhere near the bunker with my UBER unarmed 4 combat skills)
Well, I've been at the DWB for a couple days now. Been quite deep in it too, went down withtwo groups of around 20 to 25. I have 6 accounts and my PvP toon is Uber, certainly upper 1%, but this place is just boring. You fight 1 SBD after another, followed by an endless army of BD's. Almost no loot, but I don't really care about loot. I care about taking my guild of well organized players (I run my own ventrillo server and we've been a guild since week 4 after launch) to have an enjoyable time. This place is just too hard, much like the corvette it's just 5min fighting one mob only to turn around and spend 20min fighting his friends that spawned right next to you. Give me a brake SOE, we may complain a little if you publish dungeons that are a little easier, but we won't cancel our accounts. So far you're two new dungeons can be summed up like this;
How long till a Super Battle Droid kills you?

With 99.999% negative feedback I can't wait to see what the devs have to say on this.
I'm really surprised we haven't heard the standard, "There are no plans at this time to make any changes. This is supposed to be hard, bla, bla, bla"
Here's the deal yo...
Nobody cares how hard it is. There's no reward. You have to balance difficulty vs reward.
Honestly, I would've rather you just fixed the problemwhere all of my BH marks end up stuck in a wall or under the floor...
They haven't said anything... they won't say anything

This place definately isn't 'impossible'... some of our team was comprised of unarmoured wookiees. Pony up, Live-ers, after all, we're just carebear TC players with low-quality equipment, remember?
Since the Mandolorian Armor has more vulnerabilities and lower resists than Composite there is pretty much no reason to enter that dungeon. Not to mention camping Yavin over and over and over for useless Armor Components just to build some useless Armor... So yes, DEVs! You are right, Mandolorian Armor will be absolutly rare - since it's absolutly useless...
- the excuse for super battle droids being there is poor
- SBD's are just too powerful for what they are in the movies - there were bigger and better droids seen in those scenes that could have been used.
- very much for the top 1% of the population again, why are all the mid levels constantly ignored. Its great tha when you join you get a tutorial, but there is nothing much to keep interest on the way up
- when will we see vehicles spawn to fight against? Star wars features them heavily and there not in the game at all except one which is a faction pet. why not make rebel missions at the rebel mission terminals where you have to destroy a walker? Or destroy a hovertank in the case of the imperials?
- Lag, i'm sure you've heard all about this, so i'm not gonna say much more.
- should have been instanced -> a lift down into the mine would have worked just as well
On the plus side:
- it did look cool
- the principles and the crafting of the armour is very well done.
- i understand with making the difficulty absurdly high for this particular dungeon and feel its almost right considering the prize. Lets just stop coming up with silly hard individuals and move towards the SW's feel and make vehicles and tanks something to fight.
sorry to sound negative, but i am not liking the recent trend in the last two dungeons or the lack of attention being paid to filling out the content for mid levels.
Thanks
"From past experience we should have know this is how the new content would have been handled. Basically if they say it will be difficult, expect a ton of BD and SBDs. Expect that the majority of the community will hate it. Expect that there will be a few people that will call you a whiner. Expect no response from the DEVs. Expect no changed until someone comes up with a way to solo it."
Then they'll just add a "few" more SBDs![]()

and yet still no Dev response
The DEV will never respond on this thread. I think they are reading it, but if one of them posts it would be like standing in front of a firing squad.
Look at the Corvette thread, they don't seem to really care that everyone is upset. The community has been muted on that subject. Soon we will be muted here.

Since anyone who's played for awhile can easily spot configuration differences (loot, CL, pathing, etc.) between TC and Live on any server don't presume for a second that the DWB TC version is the same as Live bud.
You mean like TC not having 50-100 people moving through the place 24/7, killing things and thereby essentially making it easier for a group to progress farther into the dungeon? ![]()
Ohh, Ell' Kabong s'just joshing ya', si? I think I may have upset a few people with my Live server taunts. Just a bit of harmless fun... like when Corbantis invaded Ahazi, or how everyone jabs Bria, or how Live players post how 'worthless/universally weak/poorly-equipped' us testers are. . .
