Thread: Jedi Revamp Phase I
I got 2 questions as well and hope they'll be answered.
- will we be able to see our progress or are we left in the dark like it is now ? With that i mean will we see the force initiate skilltree and the little yellow bar telling us how much we managed to progress .
- if someone has completed 4 of his 5 holos then he should be at around 80% to unlock and all other mastered professions have no influence on that as long as they aren't one of our five holoprofs ... am i right ?
I've been saying this all along andI agree wholeheartedly. There are a lot of easily implemented options (in my opinion) that would interest players and cut down on the jedi numbers as well in doing so. I have always wanted a cyborg character, based on a role-playing character I used to have who had one arm entirely replaced due to a vehicle crash. Of course he also had a trio of droid brains implanted in it for his espionage use during the rebellion, but hey I don't expect anything that big... lol The only thing missing is the option to play a droid character. Now that would be entertaining and fun.
I think that the second character slot should be opened before they gain force powers, since a majority of people would like that I think. I will probably just work on my main if I don't unlock by then, but who knows.

Rewardscould be things like:
Deep Crust Mining, meaning that you can build/place harvestersthat findrelatively potent resources in awsome quantities and never have to be moved.
Owning a capital chip or space station in the space expansion.
Highest Ranks in Factions, like Generals who really have imense power inside of a Faction, can call in reinforcement troops or orbital bombardment..
Ability to build/use a Jetpack, allowing you to hover out of the reach of melee fighters and move at great speeds during combat.
Telepathic, ability to read someones mind, find out faction, rank, skills etc. and limited combat abilities that mess with your oponents mind (Dizzy them, inflict wounds etc.) and heal your own/others.
Royalty, grants you a title like Lord, Lady, Duke etc. that will be displayed in your name, also allows you to place a giant palace as a personal home.
Cyborg, gives you the ability to build andequip implants that can increse your stats, give bonuses to skills, armor, smartguns, bio-bombs,you name it...
Versatile, just grants you an extra 100 Skillpoints to learn more professions with.
Land owner: More lots.

As in, you STILL have the fifty billion Jedi exp you used to get to 4444 Guardian?
Yes, if you had 16 boxes in the old system, you get 16 boxes in the new system. However many complete boxes you have, you will keep.
At least one person who agrees with me on this, the fact that Jedis are the only special characters in the game is just awful, because most Characters in Starwars are special in one way or another, nobody wants to have the feeling to just provide a population of stupid pesants for the Jedi elite, and that's why the Jedi system will aways suck as long as there is no System to make you into something equally unique and interesting that isn't a Jedi.

I have just completed my first holocron (master chef). Will my holocron count towards being a jedi in pub 10 or will i have wasted my time making pancakes ?

Thunderheart,
guys we are forgetting about all the other factors involved and i believe we can make this work, we can get our cake and eat it too. This is problems the devs are facing with jedi right now. Youll all agree that 95% of the people want to be a jedi correct? well we also dont want everyone running around being jedi either. Now think about the other factors my friends. Space expansion, people are going to want ships right? There going to want to try out these new proffessions right? I think they should make it as your skill in jedi go up so does your chances os bh hunters attacks and other crazy crap rise. Some people have as much killin jedi as they do being jedi. We need to improve on that and make it worth there while. Everyone calm down and quit bitching about this issue. We need to all get together and just talk about this issue with the devs. I just hope thunderheart will write back soon.

Honestly I do not know how you guys can get away with it. Your lucky the Large number of people play this game because it has the STAR WARS trademark. Honestly, I would have lost interest so long ago if this wasnt the case. When will some one with BALLS and DEDICATION come forth to make a Statement to your Clients?
