The lightsaber glow is too wedge like. It looks more like the blade of an actual sword than a lightsaber.
Try narrowing the glow so it is uniform from point to hilt and not broader at the base.
I think it will look much better if you do.
I think it was more like revenge against anyone who isn’t a full Jedi Knight.
From what I have seen.. several of the testers who were chosen to become Padawans on Test Center 2 either tried for a little while then gave up after being clone camped or griefed every few minutes or just never even logged in.
When I logged in on Friday evening I was really excited, but soon found there were more bugs than I had anticipated, oh well I kept pushing forward: here’s a list of the bugs I have found. Sadly I couldn’t write them up in /bug as it’s not working.
1) When my TC1 characters were copied over to TC2 and then recreated they all had been turned into rebels. my Imperial Master Sergeant was wearing her Storm Trooper armor and owns a AT-ST she also has –5k of rebel faction. I soon found that she was an overt rebel still maintained the same rank and could still wear here storm trooper armor. I quickly drooped the rebel faction and rejoined the empire.. loosing all rank.
2) While using my AT-ST in combat against some rebel Jedi Knights I found that animal scare seemed to bounce off the AT-ST and work on me.
3) When grouped in combat with my AT-ST its tef transferred to me while in combat also some the specials being used against it affected me in the cloning chamber.
4) The Jedi Knight Title is currently Trainable to anyone with force powers. It should be earned only.
5) All NPC trainers in other player cities on a different world than your trainer is on can train force powers.
6) Jedi trainers are only training the old system.
7) Normal NPC trainers will not train in normal skills
8) Skills and experience tables seem to use the old system for experience and powers making some of the powers useless and not allowing Padawans to advance in jedi experience.
9) Knight skills such as lightsaber should use weapons experience to level no just jedi experience. I have already met the maximum single handed lightsaber experience cap. And cannot train to advance.
10) There doesn’t seem to be anyway to keep the population down for jedi or padawans.
11) If the padawan is balanced correctly. They can easily defeat a knight in combat by using skills, defenses, and tools from other professions.
12) There is no benefit to killing a knight as an imperial Padawan. Making it appear as if there is no way to advance into becoming a Knight.
13) While being overt, or even covert, I do not get a tef for using my saber against animals.
14) Lack of imperial spawns is disturbing.
15) When killed by a rebel jedi, armor and clothes are degrading at full rates as if killed by a non-faction npc.
16) This makes me wonder if jedi robes will degrade.
17) There are presently no Knights that are stuck being overt.
18) Its now more like a faction war with jedi rather than dark and light jedi.
19) Coverts can openly attack and overt, they should be turned overt instead of just being tefed
20) Same factioned Jedi that duel do not get tefed
21) Neutral jedi don’t get tefed
22) Light saber color crystals don’t seem to be dropped that much.
23) Is there any base armor that has defense against lightsabers.
24) Lightsabers can not damage lairs.. leaving a solo Saber Knight with only a CDEF weapon to attack it with.
25) The old jedi system shouldn’t show up in the all professions listing
26) And Initiate gains more experience for healing their battle fatigue than a new system jedi does for healing their own health. It would be nice if all the new system padawan could do some minor self healing.
27) I’m not sure if this is part of the new enclaves or not, but Padawans that want to level through dueling should be able to in a arena type environment, safe from Bounty hunters, and higher level knights looking to kill an opposing factioned Knight or Padawan. Aka some sort of academy..

Now THIS is funny.
Even though I have no skills, and can not train in any (due to dropping everything), and the trainers claim I'm not force sensitive (was a TC Padawan transfer), I can still equip and use my lightsaber. Not well, mind you. I get a TEF for using it. But I can use it.
The xp I get? 1h lightsaber (85 points for killing a meatlump) with Jedi (8 points).
Rather amusing.

And, while badly using my lightsaber,I get spammed with the "You do not have sufficient skills...damage will be greatly reduced..." message. WITH EVERY HIT. Ugh.
Oh, and I can still tune crystals. With no skills. Gee, I would really like to be able to re-train. :/

I have a HumanArtisan 4304/Master Weaponsmith with (Force) Master Crafting and 4 boxes in Force Surveying.
Force Crafting
Experimentation
I have Artisan Experimentation = 105, Weapon Experimentation = 100, Force Experimentation = 20
* While crafting a CDEF Pistol I still get 10 Experimentation Points.
* While crafting a Sword Core I still get 10 Experimentation Points.

the problem is the box only let's u choose everything but the jedi KNIGHT skills- u get to choose the standard 6 FS "enhanced" skills like crafting mastery, but then u get to change from the STANDARD skills - i have a master tka / fencer / medic / scout and a master AS / master WS / artisan on TC2 now...
I was having this problem on Bria up until a week or two ago when something changed on the server that caused it to revert to its normal size/behavior (maybe the addition of a new player city on the map???). This is a really annoying bug that the CSRs seem to know about (I was given a vague response about this being seen by some people using higher screen resolutions and there was no workaround). It would be great if the Devs could figure this one out since I'm seeing different behavior between TC1 and TC2 (and they're supposed to be the same).
No Jedi yet on live server (Profession 29 and counting
) so I just have Jedi Padawan on Test Center. Decided to make a crafting template to test out the force exp a bit. Couple things I noticed:
1) Force Experimentation/Assembley/Repair doesn't do anything that I have noticed. I have master artisan/armorsmith and on both only have 10 exp points and I haven't noticed any changes to repair or assembly. Am unsure how this is supposed to work however.
2) Had same character make a windmill and when I went to place it it told me that Jedi have no need for structures. My question is this....I know it was stated that Jedi will be able to own player structures however does that include factories/harvesters? If it does not I might as well not even strive for sensitivity on my main character who is an armorsmith.
Most of the other bugs have been mentioned in the post already, hopefully we'll stop finding them soon!
