I wouldn't know how close I am to having a jedi. I never wanted one. If I wanted one I would have one. Having played since launch, I've put in more than enough time in this game to have ground out every single profession in this game well before publish 8. Don't for one second try coming across to me like you're special because you ground out a bunch of profs.

Also, I'm not saying the BH/Jedi system can't be improved. If you checked my other post in this thread you would have noticed that I commented that I didn't like an aspect of the current system. What I am saying is to not to remove XP loss. They've all but removed every damn death penalty, including those not involving Jedi, from this game. If they remove XP loss, like every other death penalty they have removed in this game, they will never put it back. Even after the reason for removing it is gone.

Ha, the challenge for the bh is to defeat a jedi using one of the weakest professions. The only way for a bh to kill a jedi is to have some uber weapons, getting those weapons is a-lot harder then grinding jedi. Also, how is PvP not player interaction? Are you assuming every player you interract with should be your buddy? In that case the krayt dragons should take laxatives and intentionally pass pearls for us. Night sisters should let us in on their crystal harvesting methods, and rancor should feign death untill we collect our mission rewards. Please, less talkin' mo' faaa....

Whereis the Entertainer Quest, Thunderheart.


First it was 10.2 - we'd get it then.


10.2 has come and gone.


Then we heard you guys goofed all the numbers up. It's coming in 10.3, is what we were told.


10.3 has come and gone.


Where is the Entertainer Quest.


If this was supposed to be released so long ago, WHY is the new dance still BROKEN in the base step.


WHY are you forcing Musicians and Dancers to pay 400,000 Dance or Music xp for new content. No other profession has ever, ever, EVER had to pay profession xp for new content. Did Droid Engineers pay 400,000 Droid Crafting xp for their new droid schematics? NO. Did Doctors pay 400,000 Healing xp for the new Poison and Disease resist buff schematics? How about the new Area Cure Schematics? Did they pay 400,000 Doctor Crafting xp for those? NO.


WHY are you forcing Musicians and Dancers to pay 400,000 Dance or Music xp for new content.


If you think it's making the reward "special," it's not. It's penalizing those of us who are using our xp for Force Sensitive xp.


If you think it makes the reward "presitigious" it does not. Any shlub with a macro hits one button, goes to sleep, goes to work, goes golfing, comes home and has 400,000 Dance or Music xp because you Devs have abandoned us with our 100% AFK problem.


Once again, I formally ask for some kind of communication in the Entertainer Quest feedback thread.


FYI: Live Entertainers have quit over the current state of things - as a direct result of the quest and the way things are "progressing" with it. Multiple characters deleted and multiple accounts closed. You are decimating the live Entertainer community with your actions. I sincerely hope you reconsider your current attitude towards Entertainers.


Get in the thread. Address the quest issues. Defend the xp requirement or remove it. Fix the broken dance. Dosomethingthat Devs are supposed to do with new content.


If not, you'll have 3 more accounts closed. And1 fewer live Entertainer. End of Story.


This treatment is the last thing the Entertainer community deserves.

This is really disheartening news for any of us who were hoping to go to Padawan in the Jedi ranks and stop.

You know, those of us who do not care for involuntary player versus player conflict, where the other side is heavily rewarded and our side is heavily penalized.

I am glad you made it very clear to everyone, that unless they want to be subjected to 'game system encouraged' involuntary player vs player conflict, they should not consider Jedi force powers as part of their game experience.

Imust accept the fact that my future game enjoyment will be based on the game as it is now, or based on a first person shooter game addition coming out in Jump to Lightspeed, that I'll have to buy.

I had wished for more, but, I'm glad you've finally made the future of the game clear.

I won't be here much longer, but thanks for the memories and for the hopes of what could have been a much better experience for me.

As a former BH and a current Jedi in Training, I can say that makes really no difference to BH if they lose XP. It won't effect them one bit if they lose XP.


Now you could say if they lose Skill Boxes, but then they are just BH's and not Jedi. If you aren't willing to play your Uber-Class, then don't play it. Become a normal class like the other 90% of us in the game and stop your complaining.


Or just watch the Star Wars movies and you tell ME how many Jedi you can count. Go ahead. You'll only need one hand.

Not even the other jedi with us can offer any protection whatsoever.



THIS IS UTTER CRAP THAT YOUR GROUP CANNOT HELP YOU!


I feel at least your guild mates of like faction should be able to group with a Jedi without causing increased visibility

      How does Jedi visibility work in regard to Bounty Hunter terminals?


      Each of the following Jedi-relation actions has an associated Jedi Visibility Modifier:


      -Equipping a Lightsaber.


      -Initiating Combat with a Lightsaber equipped.


      -Using any Jedi-related skills that consume Force power.


      All PCs and all non-animal NPCs that observe a Jedi performing any of the above stated actions (observed as defined as within 32 meters) will contribute to an increase in the Jedi's Visibility Value (JVV).


      -An opposing faction member who views this action will add the full value of the action to the Jedi Visibility Value.


      -A Neutral PC or non-animal NPC will increase the JVV by 50 percent of the action's Jedi Visibility Modifier.


      -A same-faction PC or non-animal NPC will increase the JVV by 25 percent of the action's Jedi Visibility Modifier.


      Being grouped with a PC or non-animal NPC who is viewing this action has no influence on how Jedi Visibility is obtained.

      Absolutely, visability decays over time.

      Neutral players: Everybody will impact the same as a neutral


      Rebels: Imperials will be considered non-allied
