Ok, this is just about it. I've been waiting for some time for this, and I was very pleased when the 'Old Man' paid me a visit. So I do the Sith stuff, get my waypoint to the village and off I go. Here is where I loose it with the people that designed this village. The first person I find, standing just inside one of the entrances is Whip. So being the first person I see, I talk to him. (note: an npc with a little info about what the hell is going on, and advising me to talk to the village elder would have been a wonderfull thing to place in the entrance.) So anyway, Whip sends me to rescue some missing villagers. I go to the waypoint and it's empty, nothing, nadda, zipp, not a sausage, bugger off! (I searched in about a 700 meter radius of it too) So i head back to Whip. All he says is something along the lines of Hurry, you've go to find those villagers! So I log off in disgust (hitting a brick wall like that is slightly less than fun). Later I log on again and Whip has reset himself. He gives me another waypoint, and off I go. This time the waypoint shifts when I get to it to a way point with a Sith Thug and Pirate. I kill them, but there are no villagers. I do get the 'You have completed your task' System message, but the waypoint doesn't change. So I look around for a bit for some villagers, and then head back to Whip who has readopted his 'Hurry, you've got to save those villagers' routine once again. Relogging doesn't change anything now too. Some great fun here. You can't get the quest to work, you can't drop the quest, you can't do anything else. Really fun publish.

I've been hanging on for a while, supporting the work, and preaching that it will get better. I have never thought about dropping my or my wifes account, but after this, I want the 2 months of my life back I spent waiting for this broken poorly planned crap. I'm hanging on by a wookie hair here, so please listen to this paying customer's request:

These type of bugs while doing these quest based missions may opccur because you are in a group. So, if you are, there you go.

Problem with the crafting quest. I got all the resourses and assemblied the 4 parts. I calibrated 3 ok. The fourth one the Gryoscope requires me to match shades of grey. I have failed 4 times so far. I think they look identical to me. Maybe my monitor is not that precise enough or maybe my eyes but if I get it i will be shear luck. Have a quest that depends on figuring something out is fine or even twitch as much as I hate that but have players to match grey scale maybe impossible for players without perfect eye sight and perfect monitors.

Id like to revamp an earlier statement I made in this thread. A Jedi friend told me he could not access the village to train until the old man visited him, I later found he had not yet tried and could when he did. Just wanted to set things clear on that.

To those of you who have completed a quest only to have a friend loot your item (a datapad containing the information you need) I have a solution.

First, Slap your friend for being a loot whore if he knows it's your quest and how important it is.

Second, have him place thedatapad inside a pack (you cannot trade or pick these items up when dropped in a house unless you are the person who dropped them, but when put in a pack you can trade)

Third trade the pack.

Fourth, and this is important, remove the datapad from the pack.

Last, Use the item and continue your quest, your quest journal will reflect your completion of tasks.

Optional, follow your friend around for days after he glows and give him the same treatment you got.

As for the second datapad (an occassional bug where they dont show up when you goto the location), I left planet came back, reactivated waypoint and boom there they were in all their sithy glory. Problem solved.

Wow. Just, wow. The devs can actually do some good work when they try, IE the speeder teleport. /clap. But you should seriously hire a community worker who actually WANTS the job. Someone who doesnt answer posts when they WANT to. They arent getting paid MY hard earned money to do nothing. So it may be asking too much from SOE, but how about spending alittle more time with the players, after all, we are the ones who make it possible for you to have your food, cars, etc. The service we get is so bad someone could possibly sue for it. I mean devs are around seldom. When they are they post info, but dont help all of us. May be asking too much, but It needs to be asked. Just my two cents. Have a good day SOE

this is retarded. i complete all of the good capitans patrol missions and extra patrol missions and he says i get to learn ranged accuracy...now im a 2handed swordsman **edit** is this?!?!? why in hell would i need ranged accuracy...especially as a jedi.....yeah i shoot lightsaber bolts from the hilt of my jedi....okay then...

maybe if the devs let me chose a combat prowes that i would then be able to go up, bu this random thing is **edit**...i suppose i could start throwing my scythe as a boomerrang........then its ranged.....*sigh*

Hehe were do i start. First I didnt want a jedi. Second I just wanted my second slot. Now your telling me I have to be a jedi. In order to unlock my second slot. But this won't be happining till about 6 months. Until that i have to basically grind out like a mad serial killer. killin everything i see because U made the weapon exp 30 to 1. Wow. That should be lots of fun. NoT.I thought the report on how everquest was made to annoy people so they would get addicted was false. But now Im a true beliver. I'm truly saddned by this new revelation. And frankly if the developers don't start listing to the people. Im out out of this. Frankly I never bought one product from everquest because of what is happning now. But I didnt know SWG was bieng handled fromthe creators. I grined and beared it hoping for the best whenI saw who the developers were.Unfortantly all i got was a headace. I will hold out because the concept is very good. And I like the game. But overall you have made this game difficult and frankly crap. I dont see u guys fixing this game any time sooneer since eq2 is releasing soon. So it has come to my solution u do not care for this game. And are putting ur resources into EQ2. Well fine WoW is soon to be out in nov. I guess thats my option. Since my favorite game has gone down the drain. Thnks for wrecking the game

TH,
I must say the "Exit Quest" rocks...best fun I've had in the
game thus far. Me and my team of 5 had a few problems to begin
with, but after persistance and dedication we got it....and everyone
agreed. Best fun yet.

Thank you

The effect of FS skills needs to be sorted, everyone that has them report no iprovments what so ever, one in a blue moon they will do something, and then it isnt much.

Even at level 4 of a tree, it does little.

This needs to be addressed, you have made it very hard to grind these levels with little reward.

Hi every body.

I think that this publish is very nice, but the jedi can train any of the force sensitive skills, in my case, and more jedis for sure, we cant earn any combat/crafting/medical/etc xps at all without surrendering some jedi skills (whic cost some millions of jedi xps te earn).

Is there any idea to allow the jedi to convert jedi xps into force sensitive xps in any acceptable ratio?, im not asking abut surendering force sensitive boxes but to train another boxes and then surrender the excess? is this going to happen shoortly?

thanks.
