Greetings;

Is it me or this new board system was the WORST idea EVER... not only it's too long to read, but try to find the freaking answer in there by TH or anyone else for a specific questions... OMFG this is getting to the point that entire guilds will leave the game again, haven't SOE learned ANYTHING at all from past mistakes.

Your paying suscribers wish, whant, demande to be informed of progress in fixes, overhaul of various professions or game aspect... Having a empty in concept forum ain't doing **edit**. Futhermore I am sure that people find it almost impossible to get anwsers for their questions anymore. Did anyone at SOE ever tought outside the box. You guys need to break the sterile concept in wich you are stuck in, do things diffently, try a radical method...

LISTEN to your freaking suscribers for a freaking change and stop using bad propaganda to make us belive that eveyone is happy...

1. Milk can we get a vendor, SOY milk craftable from beans found on Endor, something??

2. Wookiee's get no armor, fine. Why is it that only 1 shirt has the ability to have a re-enforced fiber panel (RFP)? If you don't want us stacking up BE enhancments that help combat, fine. The "wookie shoulder pad" has got to be the dumbest looking of all the wookiee clothing items. Please consider making ALL tailor schematics for wookiee "field wear shirts" have at least 1 RFP item, mebbe the crested battlepadding could have 2... My wookie always wears a robe over his very ugly "wookiee shoulder pad"...

3. The BH droid issue that concerns me most is the Investigation III bugof"magic seeker's".

  • Fix combat strategies, what you are doing aren't fixing the main problem - Spamming one (or two) skills to win. Timers is the best way to go in my opinion. Make skills stronger, but at the same time with a recharge time before you can use them again.

Here's my idea on fixing combat and reducing specials.

Increase the base damage of weapons and decrease the special modifer. Specific numbers would need to be worked out, but double the damage of the weapons and tighten up some of the damage ranges while reducing the damage from specials to be like 10-50% of base.

Let us use the specials for state changes, dots, posture changes, and added damage. The state/posture changes shouldn't have a large increase in damage, as for dots, it could be like dot 1 = 150% base, dot 2 = 300% or so. Added damage would be double for the highest special. ie, 3 specials to add damage (unarmed hit1, 2 and 3); unarmed1 - 150%, 2 = 225%, 3 - 300%. Then there's the targeted specials which will always be spammed due to increased effectiveness of targeting only 1 HAM pool. For that, I would only increase their damage slightly, maybe by 10% if that and have very low HAM cost.

As to the damage range, I have a laser carbine that does like 40-250 damage. In my opinion, that's way to big of a range. I like to see consistant damage, not 60 one it and 300 the next.

well we have only discovered fire recently in SWG...as demonstrated by the torches and campfires.

Maybe in another few 100 years we will discover farming and be able to actually MILK a gurnesset or fambulet or brackerset or one of the many other creatures that roam around. That is after someone figures out how to craft a fence from nuna entrails and bone. We are the Flintstones not the Jetsons

The NPC camps have DOMESTICATED Eopies but we dont. I assure you that they are probably milking those eopies and making a nice cheese.

All they have to do is give SCOUTS a milking choice when harvesting

It's already been announced that soon scouts will be able to milk herbivores. I believe it's with the next publish, but could be the one after. Not 100% sure. There havebeen threads on it in the Chef forum.

I'd like to see a lot more focus on the actual content from the StarWars Universe. Their are numerous holes and gaps that don't fit the established storyline, and some that actually doom the future as told in StarWars.

-First off, you have Luke Skywalker in the most ridiculous place possible. He is in Exar Kun's specifically designed force amplifying temple. In the Young Jedi Academy Trilogy, it is revealed that a Jedi that enters such temple would be possessed by the spirit of Exar Kun. It happened to Kyp Duron, who had much more training then Luke Skywalker at this point. Welcome the next Lord Skywalker, with the evil powers of Exar Kun.

-Next, you have the Rebel high command staff positioned on the Rebel HQ on Dantooine. You guys (the devs) already established that the Empire has positioned a outpost their to deter a return. Is the empire incredibly lazy? Have they decided 'lets not check out the place we are here to watch over'? Also, it is mentioned in Galaxy of Fear #11 that Lord Vader visits Dantooine during this time looking for Luke. Any reason he wouldn't detect Mothma and Ackbar? So... the Rebellion is dead (again).

-Ditto for #2 to Lok applied to the Imperial base there and Han Solo.

I just finished the rebel themepark last night, so I'll comment on these.

The base on Dantooine was used, butis being evacuated. The people there are using it as a staging area to get the rest of the people off planet and to find better location. If you ever been in the base, you can see it being slightly trashed. Not sure if the Empire already found the base and considers it abandoned or not. Forgot that part of the story line, but it is refered to as abandoned.

Luke is hearing voices of Exar or Kyp, he mentions both the names in one of the missions. Didn't really like the missions from him, a few inconsistancies, like he stops hearing voices after you take a mysterious box to a local shaman or something which then praises you with "may the Dark Lord watch over you". Problem is, the boxes graphic is that of a wooden cage. Luke talks about something in the box but not being able to open it. You look at the box and can see rigtht through it, duh.

Han is in hiding and is there to make arrangements with Lord Nym before leaving. He does have his ship close by, though you never see it.

As for NPC faction placements, the devs should make them fit, but with players, it would be hard to NOT have rebels walking down the streets of Theed. Some allowances have to be made for a game. Not everyone roleplays, therefore, you will see odd occurances of Rebel players not being where they should. Limiting this might affect a player's gameplay experience enough that they wouldn't play.

Stop AFK macroing. The Game is being killed by this macroing to master. The game is pointless and the npc cities are either ghost towns or Mobs of entertainers afk dancing
