I guess what most are asking/hoping for is ETA's on the following:

DE Revamp (Combat droids etc)

Next stage of the Combat/HAM adjustments

Fix for ghosting vehicles

Update on Battlefields

Wookie Armor

Holocron missions/oppourtunites for none combatants.

Space expansion (Mid year? End of year?)

Any confirmation/estimations would be appreciated TH

Thunderheart, I'm sure that many of the crafters on Tempest would be interested to hear your thoughts on this:

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Tempest&message.id=56294

We do not, of course, know if this is affecting other galaxies, but we have an iron-clad database of every resource that's spawned on the server for close to six months (visit enactive.org/swg), and this is a disturbing trend... particularly since it would appear to have been done behind everyone's backs.

We welcome your input and any info you can provide.

In order to spur discussion in a more organized way, perhaps you could give us some information on the status of requests made by the correspondents who speak with us every day. Because there are so many voices on a forum such as this, it may do better to limit discussion on what you and the correspondents are actively talking about.

For example, instead of a jumble of random ideas, you could create a more focused and productive response line by posting a "Weekly Developer/Correspondent Status Update", in which we can see which issues our correspondents have brought up are being addressed.

Thanks!

Wow, there hasn't been a Dev post on this topic in over two days, that's amazing when you consider that they started the topic to begin with. Not much of a roundtable nor discussion if you ask me, more of a place to vent. Sorry Devs, generally I try to be supportive and not point any fingers, but this is bad boarding on unacceptible. Please just throw us a bone!

Any possibility of posting something in the "In Concept" forum so players can post their ideas for changes?

Doubting this will be read by those in power,

I don't know about anyone else but I'd like some information on the issues that have been around since during beta.

  • What is being done if anything to get required resources into game in useful quantities (things like fish, crustaceans, mollusks, milk, etc.)?

  • PSGs/Tantel

  • rubberbanding

  • warping

And one piece of advise. Stop adding new items like 'art' and 'gardens' until the database issues have been resolved.

Pikesmen need more accuracy and lower ham cost

carbineers need lower ham cost

chefs need higher rate of milk spawn.

There is a complete lack of communication/posting from the devs the last days! Actually the number of posts is extremely low and most of them do not provide any info (opening or closing of threads).

From what I remember TH made a new plan in order to spend more time in the forums in 2004... the current situation actually shows exactly the oposite! No posts....no communication

No, it's more like politicians in general are running SWG. Bush Administration is no different than any of the previous administrations, it's the common people who get the shaft.

Afew thoughts.

Devs you see the player base listing many things that have plagued this game for months. You see us begging for help, you see us upset frustrated and angry but yet you still insist on your policy of refusing to talk to us.

I really do enjoy this game and I play it nearly every day nearly 7 months after I got it. I enjoy this game but your refusal to speak to this community angers me to no end. I have zero personal or professional respect for the developers of this game for the simple reason that they stand by an idiotic policy of refusing to talk to the player base.

If I knew the developers in real life I would honestly consider you jerks because of your willing refusal to talk to us your paying customers. I don't care about your professional opinions on the matter. You simply don't DO this to people. You KNOW we are literally BEGGING for you to speak to us and yet you willingly refuse to respond. Why do you do this? Every time we see a post by a name in red we flock to it like thirsty people in the desert flocking to water only to find it's a mirage. That is wrong. We should not be so desperate for communication that it's national forum news whenever a poster with a red name says something! Do you understand what I'm saying? We are desperate for true 2 way communication devs DESPERATE!

I know you are busy but you are not so busy as to take a few minutes to speak to us on a regular basis and perhaps answer some of the many simple "yes" or "no" questions that have surfaced over the past months that you have never responded to.

You talked to us all the time in beta. The literal day the game went live virtually all communication stopped and hasn't changed since. That is the biggest problem by far with SWG. It's not BH droids, not Jedi issues, not lack of content, not bugs or lack of bug fixes.

Lack of developer communication is the single biggest problem with Star Wars Galaxies an Empire Divided.
