i just dont think its right that someone can get a uber weapon and keep it forever and use it 24/7


i just think that items taht never decay shouldnt exist. this includes clothing attachment filled items.


a PSG that never decays???? totally unfair.

easy solution...make it so each player can only have one item that has a no decay kit on it...make it lore/no drop what ever you want to call it...let that person use the kit on anything they want...

if each person can only have one item that is no decay the game system will not get broke by it...


as far as harvesters go...they should not decay and go poof...EVER...that is bad. on the other hand you could make it so that they sometimes break down at random...when this happens we should have to use a harvester repair kit made by...guess who??? thats right...your friendly Architect...there is the repeat business...when the harvesters break down they should very well send out an email (ingame) to the character so they know about it...and for the person who does not play everyday make it so the system can email a RL account so they know something broke and they should login and fix it.

Hm. Lets see. There are thousands of players on each server. Eventually, each will reach the milestone whereby the can get their no-maint kit to put on a harvester.


Howeverthe kits & the resulting harvsare tradeable. So what will happen over time is that players will decide they're leaving the game, and sell/give away all their goods, including the no maint harvs, the no-decay guns, & armor, etc. (of course, not all will, but ANY % >0 is enough over time).


So what happens is that over time, the number of no-decay or no-maint items in the game will increase relative to the total number of active players, because anyone who stays in the game long enough gets one.


Now one thing I haven't seen is: "One per account." Is that per server or overall? IOW: can I go to every server, create a character, and if I'm still around playing the game in a few months, start working cross server trades with other similarly foresighted players? This will vastly increase the number in the game, since most people only have characters on 1-4 servers.


Oh, and re: 225k harvs... how come I have seen 500k for a +1 structure experimentation tape? Several times. (and a +5 was 5 MILLION on one vendor). Folks love to sayArchitects aregouging, but come on, amortize all the time, plus armor and weapon decay that SEA represents, and I'd wager the combat class is making a _net profit_ equivilent to 100 CPU or better. (You can't really calculate the costs in CPU for non-crafters, so that's just a WAG. Better way might be to look at amortized cost in credits for wear and tear on combat gear vs. maint and energy for mining/crafting)


I get screamed at by jacka$$e$ for pricing a guild hall at 4 CPU.

Speaking as a CH, I would like one of three things. For the no decay kit to work on a pet (Never loses vitality) or a stim worth One free automatic tame. Or, lastly, a unique mount worth having. A special critter not yet in the game (I'm sure you folks have a critter sitting in a database somewhere that ya wanted to toss in the game but never did that looks cool) with a cool saddle, nice HAM, good resists, and can be used by any CH (Its a vet reward. If ya worried about CH leveling with it, easy solution. Make the critter buggy so it grants NO XP from combat. So lets say you make a krayt mountable. I take that krayt into combat, and I would get zero XP, even against another high level mob.)


Other ideas I'm just tossing in for CH

A unique command for vets, like Embolden 2 (Enrages your pet at no cost to you)

The ability to Image design a favorite pet once (all critters in SWG have multiple colors, sizes, and such, so we would just get a choice of the range of whats already available)

A buff pack for pets, like Docs use on people, only usable by CH, with a set number of uses, buffs all stats +2200 for 3 hours.

A medic pack for pets, usable a set number of times. Cures poisons, diseases, and bleeds. I know there have been times when my pet has been diseased, poisoned, AND bleeding, and I wish there was something I could immediately do about it.

i havent read all of the posts yet but i have to say that this is pretty cool

but i was wondering if u guys could like make "special housing" like unique an all or another ship

or like something for like 12moth veterans like an allowance of like 10k a day or 100k a week somethin like that

that would be cool even though i only have about 7 or 8 months but still hehe

diffrent viechles would be kol considering theres only 3avalible and 1(or 2 if u count the x31) that cannot be crafted..................

another thing would be complete custimazation for new chara.s that theveteran makes doing everything a image designer could do

mabye even clothes to start with

and of course these are only ideas i pulled out of my head but u nvr know

and as for the minitures ther ecool and everything but wouldnt be kool to have a life sized jabba in your housse??????????????????????just wondering hehe

last thing i can think of atm is like other life sized creatures/ people for ur house....like having a vendor in ur house cept its not a vendor it could make decorating a cantina pretty cool

Hey I don't know if this is common or not but for my 180 day reward I jsut got 3 yachts. Is this supposed to happen or is it a quirk?

A bit off topic for this thread, but i'll answer...


When you geth the 180 day mark and you have the JTL expamsion, you get a undestroyable deed for a Yacht. You can creat as many yachts as you can hold, a maximum of three ships. If you want to have all slots filled with yachts, thats you're choice. If you destroy all the ships, you can, and if you want to recreate a yacht, use that deed again.



Not a quirk. Just as designed. And perhaps you shouldn't keep clicking that deed?

Whatta strange separation of players?


Some love the rewards. Some dont think it's enough. Some hate it. Some are scared.


First, the worry about the anti decay kit.


It's only for weapons, from what the devs say. Not anything else. And, it may only stop "decay", like from death, to avoid insurance. Condition will still drop with use, as condition isn't really the decay mentioned. So, no worries about an infinite use uber weapon. And, no worries about applying that to ships, houses, harvesters, crystals, medpaks, etc. It only effects decay from death and cloning on one weapon, seemingly, and nothing else.


And, as for those who worry this is going to destroy the economy (or more specificly, a crafters profit margin), remember: a players account can only get one per year, per account! Many people will choose another other gifts.


Second, the self powered harvesters.


As above, only available at the 6 month interval, a choice at 1 year (and if you get that, say so long to the anti-decay kit above!), and you get another choice a the 2 year mark. Will this brake the economy, or a crafters bankbook? No.


Won't crafters actually love this gift? This will help with their harveting. And remember this: This only effects the power supply, NOT the upkeep of the harvester. A harvester can still burn and be ruined due to neglect, like it has always been. If a harvester ran out of power, it would just shut down. The only difference with this kit, is that the owner wont have to purchase any energy units...and thats it. And, only on one harvester.


I think that would mean that that harvester would need to be watched over very carefully. Shame to have that self-powered harvester burn to the ground because someone forgot to pay maintainance...


And once again, i ask you to recall: a players account can only get one at 6 months, then one year than onceper year, per account! Many people will choose another other gifts.

Really, i don't see a lot of worries

SImply give us an off road multi passenger vehicle, how good would it be to take you whole guild for a burn through some opposite factions base could even have like mounted laser cannons sort of like jtl with gunners n stuff hehe.


ALso make av-21's so that a passenger can ride with you.
