BTW tiggs, in my opinion a jedi gets on the boards way too easily: Is it kind of likea 1 strike and you're out kind of deal? How exactly does it work? Can you be seen once and get on them? or do you have to be seen a few times? Because it seems that the littlest thing gets you on the boards.

The Devs have sort of shot themselves in the foot on this one. Clearing the visibility was of course the right thing to do after they misled us about it several times, but now they are showing just how bugged it is. If visibility is clear now and people are reporting all over that nothing to generate is done, or very little why are they are still getting on the terminals?

i would like to know what is going on with the POI spawn rates, as i don't get up at stupid o'clock to goto a POI , is that a bug that they only spwn once per day, is it being looked into?

3) Slow spawning - It would appear that the rate things spawn has slowed down - Eg on Lok, you can ride (vehicle), stop and wait 20 secs before a spawn of mobs round a lair will happen. (random spawns that is not mission spawns - haven't tried them). We are now walking or using mounts (back to the good old day's) !!!


4) Combat delays - you get a msg saying you have been knocked down, 10+ secs later you fall down - or if you hit stand you never see the fall down!


This is on the Starsider Server.







I can confirm that all of these are an issue on starsider, and are very frustrating, especially the MOBs. Its a real problem when you are out riding, trying to avoid too many hositles (I have a crafter with no combat) and then all of a sudden a bunch spawn right on you and kill you instantly. I can't count how many times that has happened, and asa result, that char won't go to dantooine for anything. They are riding a bantha mount too, so its not like they are wizzing thorugh and the game can't keep up.


The global map's names are so far off and clustered, I just use the drop-down menu now. I also see the same thing about the combat delays, and it again can be deadly. I have a TK toon also on starsider, and he has twice been at great health, and then all of a sudden drops to the ground dead. I have a fast internet connection, and the game doesn't freeze up, so I don't think it is just lag(?).



Just out of curiosity, are they calling P10.4 those two fixes, the jedi xp boost and the jedi terms?

Ummm this has nothing to do with 10.4


When the devs do get around to Smugglers will you insist they do not devote much time to the smuggler ravamp since there are 31 other professions or will you hope that since it is time for the smuggler revamp, they devote most of their time to it.


If I recall, they devoted a lot of time to Chefs without doing anything for Jedi

If I recall, they devoted a lot of time to Image Designers without doing anything for Jedi

If I recall, they devoted a lot of time to Creature Handlers without doing anything for Jedi.


I hope they devote a lot of time to Smugglers without doing anyting for the other professions

I hope they devote a lot of time to the Combat Revamp without doing a lot for other areas

I hope they devote a lot of time to the GCW Revamp without doing a lot for other areas

Now while I really hope you guys fix the jedi visibility issues it wont matter at all if you dont fix the "target is offline" exploit about 90% of jedi on my server try to use. It has severely harmed the game to potentially game breaking lvls due to the fact that the exploiting jedi have been able to hunt the past few days or so without the worry of being hunted at all! I have seen many jedi who were mid/high lvl (round 190-200k) suddenly all get to knight lvl(225k) and suprise suprise, they are the ones who constantly abuse this bug and ones you cant get missions on.

This problem is compounded by the fact that the jedi who play by the rules and dont exploit get even MORE screwed over as all the BHs are taking their missions instead since they are the only ones that work. TANKS(BH correspondant) has made this his top issue and posted I think 3 days ago about it in the correspondant forum yet you guys still have not responded at all to the issue.

Furthermore(and this is the real kicker) this is a bug that was fixed over 3 months ago, yet came back with pub 10.3, which is really disheartening adn makes it seem like it was put back in on purpose due to the broken visibility system.

  5. There are no Theater Managers from which to start the Entertainer "Quests"nor are there any posts from SOE officials about when Entertainers can expect their new "content" to be added (it was supposed to be in publish 10.2).There haven't even beenDeveloper replies tothe Feedback thread started nearly 2 weeks ago.
  6. There aren't many steps to take other than going into a Theater and looking around for the Theater Manager. /shrug

I'll help you out on this one. Here is what happens they go to an unfriendly space port and they are perma overt. They logout and back in so that they can have some piece to get back to rather safe turf. I seenot just jedi do this, but all overts when they are not comfortable with the factional area they are in, your missions getting wacky, Sorry for your luck but it is hardly game breaking for a BH. Unfortunate yes.

umm that is fine and dandy for knights, what about every jedi that is not a knight yet but still doing this exploit so they can lvl without having to worry about BHs coming after them? Thanks try again.

  6. Step 1: walk into the theater
    Step 2: look for Theater Manager
    Step 3: ummm there is no step 3 because there are no theather managers.

And please look at the feedback thread you started Tiggs. There are some definate issues with the dance we are questing for we'd like resolved as well as some minor issues with the quest itself people are having problems with.
