The issue IMO is the lag all the dead troopers create at the starport. If the Devs want to let the rebels faction farm, and they will regardless of the reward, then move the damn troopers to the other side of town, away from the starport!

They are tough yes, but isn't being a rebel supposed to be tough? I also have a rebel character on another server, and the crackdown has been a joke... until these troops were added. Hell, shouldn't you be sneaking around if you are overt in one of these "occupied" cities? Well, guess it is going back to the same ole' unocuppied cities.... less xp and fp is not the answer. They already gave weak xp to those of us with high end characters, and the fp for now is almost worthless with the exception of making some cash or buying bases.

What is the reasoning for thinking they have been succesful? They haven't even been live for one day yet and you all are removing them. Was it a Lucasarts problem? Can't be the fact that the majority has been disappointed when a good portion of your playerbase is just now getting to log in after returning from work or school.

If rebels are complaining (and I know this really doesn't hurt my rebel character) about not being able to fly into these cities overt 'cause they will get torn up... let em take a detour. There are plenty of other unoccupied cities they can choose to fly into with the same flight options elsewhere on the same planets... much rather see a real battle for control than a simple mid-level player taking out the entire city of NPC's alone.

Again, to reiterate, the crackdown never has felt like a crackdown until this... now they are the ones being "cracked down" upon. At least let it go for a while before letting people down and removing something the imperials seemed to be excited about. Nerf their multiple troops... nerf the at-st... nerf the first signs of a true crackdown? Sorry if it came out negative, just not liking this one bit and from the looks of previous posts it seems others feel the same way. Looking forward to some kinda answer as to why, and looking forward to seeing one of these exploding droids Take care

We're playing a game. There is no reason that a game has to be as lame as real life.

Wah wah, the game is letting me win all the time. wah wah! **edit**in cry baby!

Maybe the game should have some challenge to it or do you just like everything spoon fed to you in life.

Oh, and my life isn't lame so I guess you must be talking about yours.

WHAT? WHY did you take them out? That is so dumb. You just axed a very cool addition to the Crackdown. For what I don't know. Bad idea.

nova-troopers in crack downs = GOOD

wimpy puny toops in crack downs = dull, boaring, not fun.

i was seriously excited about being scanned, and attacked by troopers who i had no hope of defeating. i mean realy! i would have to run and hide if i was alone, instead of simply slaughtering the entire platoon

please leave them in, they are very cool

Spatial Speech: Speech from within buildings should no longer be able to be heard outside.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you.

The lack of privacy in buildings always annoyed me -- now buildings have a great advantage over just being outside -- and is way better than having to /tell people whatever you didn't want broadcast around the 64 (or 50?) meter radius.

Using these guys to fix faction farming was a bad idea, one I hope was always intended to be temporary. They should just give 0 XP / FP.

Aside from the continuity issue, they make it impossible for PvP to take place in any Imp controlled cities. I've been in battles with a large group of Rebs vs a small group of Imps (with all the NPCs as back-up) in all three garrisoned cities, and it was lots of fun for both sides. The Imps could go overt after they died and the Rebs could just shoot a stormie to get themselves TEF'd... it made for a long battle.

Not to mention failing a scan and getting turned overt by the Novas means instant death if you're not armored and buffed.

Stop the FP farms, but please please leave in the uber stormies, those things really felt like the empire was finally "controlling" something, damnit

Actully Im a rebel I would like to see them kept in...it gives the feeling that I am actully an outlaw and need to be carefull about an action...and anyways, its easy enough to jump right back on your speeder and run away if you dont want to engage them..

Please leave them in! Because of the the Imperial Army is no longer just cannon fodder for people who haven't even mastered an elite class!

If you must take them out then buff stormtroopers to actually be something to be feared!

Oh I forgot...one rebel speaks for them all. My bad! Just as one Imp speaks for them all. /sarcasm
