Thanks for the update TH.

But seriously, if you intend on Teras Kasi to stand toe-to-toe with Jedi, then increase theirexperience requirements 50 times to equal that of Jedi. The risk / reward doesn't come close to equating otherwise. I mastered TKA in 3 days without any death xp loss etc. or risks.

You get my point.

I really appreciate the gesture of a free Color Crystal... Kudos!

You more detailed explanation and communication is greatly appreciated as well.

TH, I see most of the 24 FS skills not helping JEDI at all. The surveying and healing are a couple. These skills seem to enhance people that are not yet Jedi and make their way to becoming FS more fun and maybe faster? But do the Melee defense and ranged defense skills end up helping the Jedi? Does the persuasion line of FS skills help with force powers with the likes of Jedi Mind trick and such? I dont see +persuasion in the force powers skill tree if it does help. The only line I see that may actually help are the melee, ranged defense ( not for sure if it will cap if you take master defender or not, i dont know the math involved) and possibly vehicle control ( vehicle control minutely at that )

Please find out if these skills help a Jedi or not. If they do not I urge you to explain to the dev team that they are useless skill points spent, and the extra skill points gained would put an end to a lot of the concerns people have with not having enough skill points.

TH, It takes DAYS to grind master TK, it takes MONTHS to get to the highest level’s of Jedi. The balanace there is none existent. If you are gonna make Jedi grind all day for months just to be useful then why not do the same to TKM’s? There is a huge contradiction there. Why be a non FSR Jedi when I can be a master fencer, tkm, rifleman and take down anyone?

LQQks at robe stats:

+10 regen, +250 force power

LQQks more:

Nope do not see any armor type stats or protection 5 days till publish

Jedi archives II:

Jedi Robes
Long awaited are the Jedi robes! Gone will be the days of Jedi running about in armor. The Jedi robe will provide a hidden toughness value that will protect the Jedi, similar to armor, but providing more of a Jedi feel. These robes will be issued to you as you advance through the quests and the Force Ranking system; each have their own look based on rank. Should you lose rank, your robe will be stripped from you and the appropriate level reissued.

Can we have soem more elaboration on this? Young padawans will not have use of armor if they want to use jedi powers etc. They wont have force armor or shield right away. Other professions stacked in does not take the place of armor. So as a low lvl jedi what do we gain for protection? The back ground defences everyone keeps saying are not as strong as composite armor.

Initiates are losing most of their powers up front and their armor. What is being put in to help the lower lvl's, again please dont say other professions they do not stack up to powers or composite armor.

I hope the combat balancing for Jedi goes well...people seem to forget they were made extinct for the most part by Vader leading Stormtroopers and BH (so regular people.)

Fixed. The penalty is only calculated on cloning now.

Does this mean that jedi won't lose xp if they're resurrected by a doctor?

Also let us MBH have our 42 completely wasted points back too!

how does the trapping, survival, and rifle columns help us in anyway????

They are called point eating columns...MOST professions have them...Jedi should too.

But you can still use those skills, Jedi cannot.

The ability to color the Robes would be a welcome addition. Even an extremely limited palette would be great, considering we will be wearing those robes for the rest of our gaming life as Jedi.

This was implemented as non-hueable because of art and design restrictions. For the robes to work like armor they had to be created in the engine differently than the other virtual clothes items.Changing the colors once they already exist (as opposed to picking a color during the crafting process) is not possible at this point. This makes it a feature request that would go onto the category of dye kits for armor because they have similar development. This is something that we can revisit in the future.FWIW, there is one issue to consider here and that color also denotes rank.If you change your color, you’d be hiding your rank and that has the potential to lead to some ugly situations. That will also have to be considered.

well gee, i could have sworn composite was armor, and i could have sworn there was a 'set color' option to it... and this so called 'set color' option would let you change the hue... i must have been dreaming though because that's unpossible in this game.

About the rank thing, all ranked jedi robes are the yellowish/black color, just make it so the color options are not yellowish/black. As you advance in the FRS the color stays the same, but your 'skirt' changes (hurray).

The team has increased the color crystal drop rate as much as can be persuaded until we get some live server feedback. We have however persuaded them to include a random color crystal for all converted Jedi for the publish next week, so when you convert your Jedi, you’ll get a color crystal. So next week, there will be your initial freebie and also all the other color crystals already in the economy. We can definitely look at this in the future, but for now, crystal drops are going to remain at their current rate.

So you're just completely ignoring our #1 top issues, thanks!

I'd like to point out that the difference between padawan and apprentice after the conversion is over 5.8 million xp. Considering that the xp requirment to "cap" is less in the new system this doesn't seem right.

Can one of the Devs please address the issues of G-4444 not being giving Rank 0?
In Jedi Archives 1 you said all G-4444 were considered master. Yet to get to the Jedi master you need a FR Rank of 9. Don’t see you giving this to us.

In Jedi Archives 2 you said the follow:

Once a player has dedicated all of their skill points to their Force skills they will be able to begin the Jedi Knight Trials. There will be two quest series to choose from, one for the Light Side and one for the Dark Side. Completion of the Trials will give the Jedi a Force Rank of zero as well as a new robe and will allow them to begin the progress through the Jedi Ranks to become one of the most powerful Light Jedi or Dark Jedi in the game. This is the end of the Jedi PvE advancement series. A Jedi may choose to remain here if they wish. Existing 4-4-4-4 Guardians will begin the game where this path ends. This to me even means we should giving Rank 0 to start. So why do all the G-4444 after long months of grinding on the old system, and then waiting around 3-6 months for revamp, have to now spend another 2-6 weeks camping and running around to do Knight Trials.

We put up a follow up post. The reasoning for this change can be found in Keldarin’s follow up on the issue here:

Post Fan Fest response concerning Jedi Conversion
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok i read through the follow up post, and there is no mention of G-4444 not being giving rank 0 or Jedi Knight trails. So being a g-4444 for over 3 months, stuck on unable to get a jedi master box, unable to progress, losing 50% of my skills and being thrown back to the half way point of Jedi status, why are g-4444 not being giving rank 0. Havnt we had enough issue already? And if we have to do trails, then the rare creature spawns need to be increased. Some of the creatures have never even been before on planets you say they are on.

You realize if you do this you are removing XP debt from a lot of cases because Jedis will just get rezzed. This opens huge opportunities for BHs to game the system for money. Be forwarned.
