Uber HAM + Uber base attack + Uber weapons + Uber specials????? Can you say UNBALANCED?
And now there's even talk of armor and buff nerfings down the road soon. WHERE IS THE COMPROMISE? If I were you, I'd completely scrap the idea of dungeons such as the DWB and geo cave, its not like anyone will be able to complete them
IT IS NOT A DIFFICULT CONCEPT DEVS, PVE REQUIRES CAREFUL BALANCING

I am pretty sure that once "normal PVE" is balanced they will bring down the corvette and DWB mobs to reasonable levels. The corvette NPC:s was a hack to make a challenge for "exceptionally smart players".

I helped a guildie kill a rebel Jedi today. My friend was incapped so I deathblowed the Jedi. When my friend (the BH)got up he still had his mission and a tef..... so had we wanted to we could have camped his corpse still.

Not sure if you knew this, but if the BH with the mission is not the one who DB's the jedi, the mission is not complete and hence it is correct that the mission andTEF stays active. Likewise, if a teammate of the jedi DB's the BH instead of the jedi mark himself, the mission is not failed, and it is correct that the mission and TEF stay active.

Is it possible that the timer was accidently rolled back instead of forward?

I think it reads increased spawn TIME as in stopping the place from being an XP machine...

increasing time = slower spawns...

I, and my poor pet, were cut to ribbons upon leaving my home by master mauler, who was skirting our city.

I mean, Night sisters and what not nice... but should we all now travel buffed and in composite?

Somewhat on... someone off topic....

There's 80 billion missions run from terminals each day and NOTHING for crafters... if you don't have a gun, sword or some fast fists... there's nothing for you to do other than make stuff and sell it.

That is the life of a crafter, and the devs attempted to add a bit to that... they were trying to find something to ease the grind. They didn't.

Nice try... but no good to anyone if you spend 90 resources to recieve 90cr and 9 extra xp. Try something like destroying a high level mound, where you've killed 20 quenkers and the xp from thier home was another 2k or so and the mission pays out 15,000 cr. Have me make 20 padded armor segments with a 2k xp bonus and 15k for completing it. If they made it on par with combat missions... that'd be great... but as it is now... it's worthless.

Would have liked to see an adjustment to the payouts in thisquick patch, but maybe it could be considered for a 9.26

At least bring these missions somewhat closer to standard mission levels... the combat guys get that ability, why not give it to the crafters to. 90cr and 9xp crafting bonus... to make 9 items that used 18 master artisan parts is silly.

My 2 cents... just don't know where else to put 'em. :-/

At first it was kind of interesting to see the NPCs throwing specials at me. I was excited when they lobed a grenade in the midst of my group. However NPCs don’t suffer from weapon delay, nor do they take any damage on their HAM for using their specials. They’re now also able to kill people in one hit. Basically, you’re putting us in a PvP situation where there is no 75% damage decrease and the people we’re fighting have 10k+ HAM and can magically warp within range to kill you when you try to run away. All this seems to do is effectively force people into using the 2.3k buffs and have 80% resist composite armor all the time. Without a rebalance of how combat in general is done, this just makes the game’s non-low-end-content unplayable for small groups.

The risk has been greatly increased. Where’s my reward increase? (Or, really, where’s my reward at all? Skill tapes for skills that don’t exist?)

Good set of changes! Even though I knew about the patch, I was caught off guard by the difficulty of Jantas. I had to use /burstrun for the first time since....

I have to disagree with the folks that are saying the NPC's suffer no HAM cost when using specials. I was heading out of Coronet, through the usual crowd of Ragtag loons, and one of them whipped out a pistol and used Full Charge Shot on me and his HAM bars did show the specials cost. Hell, one of the bars went from full to half from just the one shot. Maybe it was only because their HAM is so low to begin with that it was obvious, or maybe it was a fluke, but once I noticed it the first time, I began to watch for it as the others charged me and sure enough, it was true for them, too.

  • SquillCave

  • change weapons during combat

I feel that the Squill Cave spawn time should be reverted to what it previously was. As a Jedi Padiwan, it is one of the few place that I can get a good amount of xp formy time. The amount of xp creatures gives drops dramatically as you gain more Jedi skills. With over 20 million Jedi xp to go before I hit the knight trials, only 2 mission creatures still give over 1k Jedi xp per kill: Rancors and Kamurith (sp?) Defilers on Dathomir. There has to be more variety in things to get xp on in this great time sink. I'm just trying to get to a point where I can stop leveling and starting enjoying the game.

I propose 2 options:

A) Remove or at least cut back on the experience penalty for killing non-uber creatures. While creatures aren't supposed to have resists to Lightsabers, Rancors and other tougher mobs absorb 80% of my saber damage. Your only option is to use your strongest saber which causes your Force pool to deplete rapidly.

B) cut back on the overall experience requirements per skill box. 3.2 million xp for 1 boxis the equivilent to 32 hours of solid grinding if I'm lucky enough to get 100k experience per hour.

How many hours do you think we have to kill the same creatures over and over just for an extra special. Playing Jedi is supposed to be hard through being force to hide, and difficult challenges, not doing the same easy task for 400 hours (from Padiwan to knight).

I want to be challenged, not bored. Thanks for your time.

That's what they mean......Longer delays for the squills to respawn.

Increased Loot Kit Drop Rates
Thanks for giving those of us who cant afford 500K per thread have a chance at getting a rug

Jedi Bounty TEFs should clear properly
I see a person in Jedi clothing holding a lightsaber. Why does he not have a TEF to everyone standing there looking at him? Now that you have thrown the Jedi being "all but extinct" out of the window, are Jedi no longer hunted either?

BTW....how can a Meatlump know I have -5000 faction 64m away....but Imperials and Rebels have no clue about a players faction standing until we walk up to them and /biatchslap them?

Spawn time increased for Squill Cave
How is this stopping the camping by Jedi?

Mark of Courage quest should allow looting of no-move item
Don't care

NPCs should again equip/change weapons during combat
They do not appear to have the delay in switching weapons as we have

NPCs should again use special abilities
