I helped a guildie kill a rebel Jedi today. My friend was incapped so I deathblowed the Jedi. When my friend (the BH)got up he still had his mission and a tef..... so had we wanted to we could have camped his corpse still.

Hooray for increasing loot kit drop rates.


I don't mind npc's using specials. Actually, I prefer it, as long as they have to follow the same rules as us, such as delay, etc.


However, that's not true, as using their specials doesn't kill them like it does us.



Boo to that!

Having the NPC:s back to normal is great!
IMHO - that's the way to go to make the game harder. Let the NPC:s use all the powers they already have instead of upping resists and ham on autohitting novice brawler npc:s.

We had a great time on Dathomir today. Me and my friends died two times. That hasn't happened for months.

Loot drop rates.. I don't know. I think we got enough of them before, except that adhesive part that noone seemed to get.

5.) The controversy surrounding Haden's slight against the forum community


6.) The dearth of communication over the last fewweeks

Great stuff. I went to go clear out the Detainment Center today with my pistol (I'm a Master Rifleman, but need pistol XP for the Techniques tree) and usually I can aggro the entire first floor and not take a scratch as two dozen of them swarm me.


Now it's great. They're knocking me down, making me bleed, making me dizzy and stunned, whipping out stun batons to actually hurt me ... it's wonderful really. I even saw one SpecForce Technician pull out a Nightsister lance and gaffi stick! Really great stuff.


I also noticed in there that there is now a Factional HQ terminal on the first floor that wasn't in there last week. Does this mean that NPCs bases are now convertable (not that I would want to give up such a nice faction source)?


Oh, and please fix the elevator in the Weapons Depot (Talus). There are so many more NPCs on that bottom floor and we can't reach them just because the elevator control isn't there. Definetly would help make Talus just a tiny bit better than it's current state.

im all for toughening it up a bit, but NPC using a pistol should not be using master rifle strafe2 ability...


like wise force NPC using saber attacks and not using a saber.


this is not any better than all of em using fist attacks. if your going to do it, do it right

Im on Bloodfin, at the squill cave. I didn't see any evidence of increased spawn rate. In fact, the spawn time seemed slower.


Is it possible that the timer was accidently rolled back instead of forward?

While I enjoy seeing variety in NPC attacks, the one shot kills they get to do is completely unfun.

You really needed to balance everything before turning this back on. Now NPCs get to use the specials for almost no cost, no weapon delays. That is just wrong.

Here's my feedback.....


Uber HAM + Uber base attack + Uber weapons + Uber specials????? Can you say UNBALANCED?


And now there's even talk of armor and buff nerfings down the road soon. WHERE IS THE COMPROMISE? If I were you, I'd completely scrap the idea of dungeons such as the DWB and geo cave, its not like anyone will be able to complete them


IT IS NOT A DIFFICULT CONCEPT DEVS, PVE REQUIRES CAREFUL BALANCING

They increased the spawn time of the Squill Cave, not increased the spawn rate. So, more time in between spawns now.

I think that's the point... to increase the spawn time at the cave means to increast the amount of time between the spawns.
