Do u not think the peeps who went above 4 holos show more dedication in the search for their Jedi than the one who stops at 4, knowing there is more to do?

Due to weights of the badges we have to get in order to be visited by old man. You need to think of these weighs again IMHO.
I have;
45 explorer badges (master explorer),
50 badge collector,
Master TK,
Master Fence,
Master Brawler (starter),
Neutral Corvette Destroy,
Jabba Theme Park,
Nym Theme Park,
Rebel Theme Park,
2 Warren Badges,
5 Hero of Tat badges,
1 Keren Race (corellia) badge,
Librarian Question badge.
and I am still surge in the force. Either that must be a bug or, or you have to re-calibrate the weights of the badges, because what a man could do more?
I cannot race more, due to my computer slowness andinternet speed of my country (too laggy the game is for me to race). So it would be unfair to the players which is in my situation. And also, I do not want to do more buggy corvette missions by all means with the well earned rights, simply they are buggy (also cannot soloable). I can do more master grinding, but what is the point in this, then bring back the holo-grinding.. You can make more badges like Librarian questions. 'Cuz they are really good and hard questions. And with this way only who has ideas about STAR WARS universe (yes too much info, kthxbye) can become FS not only the hardcore players with radeon 9800 and 1mbps lines. Simply add 3 or 4 question badges. I can do more theme parks, they are real fun, easy, long, funny IMO. So, that's my feedback give us more badges or re-calibrate the badges' weight. I personally suggest the second one recalibrating, HERO and THEME PARKS can give like 4 times more valueto us to be glowy... not just because I got them, it is because everyone who is dedicated enough can get them without unfairness.
try doing the last Alderaan mission, I think you can still get a badge for it and it seems to count a lot.

I don't know if this helps you but if you can get into the village the elder has a conversation option about loosing your crystal. Maybe that will help you, I've never actually tried it because i never lost the crystal, just remember seeing it there.

I am not kidding...call it harsh but I am not kidding.
to unlock = 4 holo classes + 1 random class
a person that did 4 holo and stopped is 1 random class away from unlocking
a person that did 4 holo and grinded 16 more classes and has not unlocked is still 1 random class away from unlocking.
what is different in the two? person A who only did the holo's chose to not go any further and or didn't have time to go any further.
person B who is at 20 professions picked to grind away...there choice...if they unlocked great. if not...sorry, that is a gamble you took and lost...you didn't find the random class and or grind out all 32.

Thanks,
Please make sure someone that did 4 holo's and stopped on the silent gets the SAME hologrind xp as someone who did 29 holo's and did NOT unlock...after all they are really the same distance from unlocking...one more class is all that is needed to unlock...the person on 29 professions and counting gambled and striked out on not unlocking... NO ONE FORCED THEM TO GRIND THAT MANY!!!
actually it is well known that the devs implemented many more silent holos to control jedi population, therefore making it only possible to unlock at 32 proffessions. Just think about it, most the beginning jedi didnt do more than 7 to 15 at the most to unlock. During that time period doing all 32 proffessions was unheard of. Yes no one forced them to grind that many but thats what you did if you wanted to get a jedi!! If you chose not to try why should you get just as much credit!!

sounds to me like you just need to loot the diskes off of the siths, go to dath science outpost talk to jamilla and get wp to village. At the village you talk to rohak the village elder and he has an option to get a new crystal if you accidentally deleted it

So...... you couldn't be bothered to make the effort and spend the time people who grinded 18, 20, 25, and 30 professions did, so they all need to b punished and brought down to your level. Ahhhh, socialism.

I agree with you Lotuusutol except for one thing, they changed the system. If the system stayed the same, your logic would be perfect. Those who chose to grind, if they could continue indefinately and get there Jedi, then there would be no cause for complaints. However, those who didn't finish on time, are now screwed into going into the new system, even though many are incredibly close to finishing all of them.
Is it fair to say that even know you have done 31 proffessions, because it will take you more then the next week to finish the last one you have to start pretty much all over again?
I do agree that the same amount of credit should be given to every one for the proffessions they did until there silent holo, or for those who didn't use them, till they unlocked there 4th proffession. Then is where it should change though, lets face it basically anybody who wanted to do there holo's could do it with a verry minimal effort. I know personally it didn't take me more then 3 weeks after christmas to have my silent holocron. Then yes I did have a choice, to continue randomly grinding different proffessions or not. I ground out to 27 proffessions and just got completely sick of the entire thing, the message of Jedi Revamp had just come out and it said something like credit would be given toward the 24 skills you need from proffessions mastered, so i figured i was set, if I was just patient I would have my jedi. Well I obviously interpreted them wrong and don't believe anyone but the post 9 unlockers should automatically get it, but I think that we should get some credit in exp for the post silent holo era.
I also think that everyone who has been playing this game for a long time, not one of these 6 month veteran BS crap, but from the beginning should get credit toward this. Here is why, if this system had been in place since the beginning, there is no doubt in my mind that everyone who wanted Jedi would have gotten it. The way this system works is truly by playing the game, If you think of all the exp that you have gained no matter what proffession you were, it is ton more then the requirement for Jedi now, it's just that we have been forced into throwing it away all this time. So I say give people a certain amount of exp for every month they played passed 2, only do it per character, but do it. Even a casual gamer, very casual could master a proffession or 2 in 2 months, and the badges could have been easily taken care of in that same amount of time.
I think it is very important though to throw some of the long term people a bone here, afterall they truly are the ones who have supported this game. I know it's tempting just to say forget them they aren't gonna leave if they haven't by now, which is probably right I know I'm not but that doesn't make it right. Everybody who has any time in this game knows that your average player will complete this new system in less then 6 months easy, yet you have people in this game who have been playing for 14 months wanting to be a Jedi and haven't made it yet. I think patch idea is great, now you just have to be fair to the people who aren't new to the game.

E.g
The first 4 'required' proffesions masterd each give enough exp to master one tree. Every 5 proffesions gives you one quater of the exp needed to master a proffesion (i.e. someone with 30 proffesions including just 4 of the 5 required will have enough exp to master 5.5 trees) If you have all 5 of your 'required' proffesions masterd then you get exp for 6 trees.
I'd realy like a similar system to apply to existing jedi so that they can rebuy their FS skills if they want (it will never be practical for them to grind out normal exp once they near Knight. Also with the changes to Jedi skills and the FRS I'd like to see some kind of respend for all existing jedi.
