I see a significant impovement in the vendor responses. But we still have to go through 10 pages of listings when on the 'minerals' or 'organic food' category, and only a maximum of 1000 items can be searched. So,what you're looking for may bepast the end of this list. These need to be broken down further into metals, non-metals (or whatever splitting best divides the items), and definitely flora and fawna. Or better yet, just add a query tool, so we can type in 'meat' or select a resource typeand it returns with all of those resources in the name. Performance really isnt a big deal. Having to find what you're looking for is, both for the buyer and the seller.

The listing of quantites was bugged on TC 5 weeks ago!, before even the jedi test went in. Now you "try" to fix it by saying take items off and re-add, bad, verry bad....

Selling things no longer seems to take 2 mins per item. I would like to see a feature added where when your auctions on your personal vendors expire you can re-sell everything for the price you originally listed it at. Way faster than having to reload every item one by one.

When you buy something there are two popup boxes now instead of one, this is very annoying.

I lost an item that I tried to retrieve, but this was an offer to my personal vendor and I'm hoping a CSR will be able to help me out.

My 2 cents...

The good:

Speed has increased a lot! Retrieving, selling, browsing, everything works like it finally should, even when the rest of the game slows to a screeching halt. Excellent!

Auto-retrieve seems to work now. Haven't had a single item which stayed on the vendor. Nice!

The bad:

Although not as nearly as bad as it sounds, the extra popup box which shows up when you buy something from another planet or city is a bit annoying. Although the new players among us might like it, the average player probably knows he's buying it from another city. Maybe you could add a checkbox somewhere to toggle this feature on or off?

All in all I'm very pleased with the result. Nice going!

As the owner of a business that takes in between 1 and 7 million credits per day selling resources to the best crafters on the server, this "bug" is pretty destructive to my business. It has also forced me to abandoned my resource spreadsheet that I was keeping out-of-game to track sales data, inflation rates, and other economic data related to my server. Obviously, I'm pretty disappointed in this particular bug, and disheartened by the dev's inability to fix something so simple that was reported on Test Center several weeks ago. I guess that's just the trend for this game, however.

I know it's not your fault Thunderheart, but please understand that day by day this game seems to become more of an exercise in futility and less of an exercise in fun.

This has been a previous problem and I am surprised it was missed in regression testing.

It WAS discovered on test. A MONTH AGO. Everyone complained, but the devswere too busy with their pet jedi to fix a major bug that is annoying as hell to anyone who uses vendors or the bazaar.

It's still not fixed. First they said yesterday, then they said today, and now I guess it's been shoved off to next week with the BH skillpoint thing that was also supposed to be today. How many more times are they going to delay before they finally fix it?

There is no excuse for this bug getting off test, let alone being on test for a month and live for at least aweek.

I haven't noticed any improvement in speed. But I'll try to be more vigorous in my testing tonight.

The good: Much faster. Really faster. Good job there. And it's getting the auto-retrieve right more often.

The bad: In our real low-tech world I can call a vendor and ask what's in stock. In SWG I have to personally go from store to store hoping to find something. This isn't a patch specific issue but is still the biggest hole in SWG commodoties.

In Publish 9, we published a new commodities server back end to improve the bazaar and vendor responsiveness.Activities such as retrieving goods, buying goods, selling items and other activities should perform better.

The thing you should notice is that the commodities markets should be faster and more stable.

Is this what you are finding?

Faster and more stable but is it cause fewer people are using it? Will wait til you patch it so you can find anything. Without being able to tell what anything is sales have ground to a complete halt. I am in the resource selling business. 600+ stacks of resources on the vendor. No one can tell what anything is. Did have hope in the patch until I read:

Note: We had one item with the bazaar that will be hot fixed on Friday (Today) that pertains to auction listings and listing items your items on the bazaar and we look forward to hearing from you on that issue as well.

Auction Listings

With the new commodity server “back-end”, there was an issue with listing resource items and being able to identify the resource information.

Resource containers placed on the bazaar prior to Tuesday’s Publish (#9) will be fixed on Friday July, 2nd.Any items placed on the bazaar between Tuesday’s Publish and Friday morning can never be automatically fixed. They will have to be un-listed and then re-listed by the auction owner.

There is my feedback on that matter. Not sure which is worse this or several months ago when vendor ate about 30million credits in resources, could switch over to TC2 and point to them on the vendor on that server and have the CSR tell me let me too bad so sad, that is all I do here.

I like it very much. Since Publish 9 I had very fast response times while acting with my vendors.

It was NOT missed. Read the long list of complaints in the in testing thread.

I like the fact that it moves much faster now

But in addition to fixing resources on the Bazaar what about the Categories fo everything else?

What I mean is: items like skirts are all in misc. clothing not in skirts under clothing, Wookiee clothing should go under wokiee clothing not misc. clothing. And there are tons of items that should go under other categories.

What I'm saying is: now that the backend hardware is improved it would be nice if you could improve the organiation of items, it would really improve and speed up the process of buying goods. The organization currently is fine, we just need to go through and make sure everything is classified in the right category and is filtered properly in the Bazaar.
