I agree that that would be cool, but unfortunately, the empire outlawed all battle-droids (Which is why you see the horribly-aiming stormtroopers in the original movie instead).

There should be a "Lost Dungeons of The Galaxy" expansion like LDoN for EverQuest. The main complaint right now is the small amount and bad design of content such as dungeons, so I would personally focus on an expansion like this before the space expansion, but I doubt anyone would actualy do that. I REALLY hope we eventually see an Expansion like this. Who else agrees with me? The dungeons should change over time, be instanced, give good and various rewards, and have riddles to solve (like Nym's Droid Cave) and [platforming] puzzles to navigate (I mean things like triggering a crate that takes players across a chazm, while enemies lunge at them,by solving a puzzle and NOT so that each player has to solve the puzzle or else the crate won't move on his screen.)

Who else is with me?

They could have dungeons such as the [2'nd] Death Star. (Get there as a mission from the rebellion or with your own ship after space expansion).

The Cloning Place from Ep. 2

Genosis droid foundaries and stadium.

The cave from Dagobah.

Various Imperial and Rebel bases (possibly stations in space)

Star Destroyers and ships.

Various more complex hideouts for clans and organizations

Dungeons for Monthly Stories

And last but not least:

More complex player-controlled dungeons. Make a cave or base for your guild instead of a hall and have the halls full of puzzles and patrols and security alarms that can be bypassed by members of the guild but have to be avoided or broken through somehow by the enemies (perhaps with the help of a traitor from the guild).

So WHO'S WITH ME?

Another seperate idea:

NPC CITY APARTMENTS

Let us have apartments in NPC cities. With the new player cities, some NPC cities are being completely foresaken. Make the apartments cheaper than houses and make a limited number of them. Then, we'd see people living and playing in the smaller cities such as Mos Entha and Mos Taike. These cities are great! Just look at the spaceship cantina/casino in Mos Entha and you'll know what i mean. However, there's not much here to draw players to it.

Mos Taike looks like it would be a nice little community if people lived there in apartments lining the street. That's what we need! Things like that!

Also, on the subject of Mos Taike, a mission for the mayor there says that they're planning to build an imperial outpost there, but are they really? NO. And I think they should. Make the communities evolve.

Make cheap housing like apartments be limited and at a shortage so people live in the smaller NPC cities.

Make large houses more expensive so the apartments will be full.

This works great in games like Anarchy Online and is being put in upcoming games like EverQuest 2. Why can't it work great in Galaxies?

I'm not sure if this is right place for this but after reading thru the 16 pages of posts i think it is. This suggestion has to do with Architects. Now architects can build some huge elobarate buildings and small simple ones but what i was wondering is why cant they build bridges. Some Player Cities span both sides of a river bank so why cant an architect build a bridge to connect both sides of thier cities together? Its a heck of a lot easier to walk across a bridge than to call your vehicle, mount or swim across the river. I'm not exactly sure where in the architect profession this should be placed, but i do feel that it would be useful to have. Heck we see bridges in NPC cities on Naboo, Corellia,Talus all over the place. So why would it be that inconcievable that a PC Architect would be able to build a bridge. They can build things that are a heck of a lot more complex than a bridge atm.

i have lots of stuff. i have a guild hall. now, a guild hall is big, so i have lots of room to put my stuff. that is, i would but before i have all my stuff there i get an error message. something like this house is full. you can't put more stuff here.

i have 3 empty rooms in my basemant and still more stuff to put in my house but it says "i have no room". i have a huge house but there is a limit to what i can put in it? thats fine and all, but i can't even put in enought to fill up all the rooms!!!

what i am proposing: make different object limits for different house sizes. don't let us put hundreds of objects crammed in a small hose, and the same nuber of objects spread out through a big house, but the house is SO big that you have room left over.

make larger limits to the number of objects you can put in larger houses, and smaller limit on smaller houses. it looks silly having all your stuff in one room, then finding out you can't put anything else in the other rooms of your house and having 3 empty rooms.

....just make it a concept that is up for discussion for now. please....

I'd like a toggle to turn off receiving emails every time I make a bank transfer or buy an item.

I'd also like a toggle to turn off the screen shaking. i get sick whenever I play with a commando.

I would like to see the idea of shooting ranges or dojos explored.

In these places, players would pay a certain amount- money or faction points- for each mob they get to kill. The higher level the mob, the more the cost. This would be a good source for players to receive exp without having to destroy other peoples' missions. It would also provide a very good money sink.

I don't think any of the mobs should drop any loot, though.

Instead of paying them to run out and complete a destroy mission, make them pay for the convenience of getting exp within a major city.

I would like to see some sort of status updates for harvesters. I get tired of everyday having to check harvesters and make sure resources have not shifted there for it has stopped producing.

Ideally what I want is a tab on the data pad that list all harvesters that i own or are a administrator for. It should show things like maintainence left, power left, resource that it is harvesting, amount of it in hopper. YOu could go as far as to added other structures to this list like factories, house, city bldgs.

Now if this is too much to add. I would be satisfied with an email notice that harvester so and so has stopped producing. I wouldnt think that would be too hard since we already get emails for factories saying they have finished their current item.

I liked that idea at first, but think about it: right now they're trying to get people to do more dungeons (WHICH NEED REWARDS BTW) and quests and things rather than mission terminals for fast (but BORING) grinding. Now this would make people grind even faster, not enjoy the grinding, waste more money, and get to the level where they've mastered their profession and feel that there's nothing else to do.
