I emailed TH regarding this issue, but it would be very nice to see other factions open up. I dont want to be Imp/Reb and since galaxies is supposed to let you be a one of the not so famous, why not open up the ability to be an Overt working for some of the other major factions. I'm thinking of Tuskens (I've got +5k and would love to be able to raid cities under that faction, maybe with "faction pets" behind me as raiders for PvP only) as well as Jabba, prince of tatooine. The smugglers would do good with him. Other factions being maybe even nightsister/ singing clan witches or endor marauders. Something to make those factions more real and become something other than xp wells. Also, a nice addition would be for tuskens not to randomly aggro people with +5k when they are in combat. they dont fight eachother do they?

Can we get an In Concept:Re:External Factions ?

I'm with Dazam about the literary thing..blank data discs and all...its so annoying that you can't put stuff onto book shelves and stuff...there are items like cabinets and book cases...we aught to ba able to put things in them...and we aught to be able to put things onto tables too...i also think that when you equip a weapon it aught to look like you're taking it out of a holster or something....i love the game and don't find any major things i would liek to change..mostley just little things....also i think the hotels should have rooms in them..like a room wit ha bed and stuff...it aught to be a real hotel. alot of people in the game can't afford houses yet or are wanderers and don't want to settle down..but i think everyone has wanted to spend the night in a hotel a ferw times. It just makes it more real...i love the ideas for the new publish..the more roleplaying opportunities and stuff..alot of people are really involved in all the technical stuff in the game that they don't roleplay alot. thats why i think being able to put clothes into a cabinet or something would be great...but if you want to interact with something you have to pick it up and put it in your inventory..i think thats kinda crazy. I also think that you aught to be able to put down and pick up things that are your's inside of bases and stuff. I have spent alot of time at the rebel base on Correlia and they have alot of bunkers..i think it would be so coolfor you and your squadron to be able to do a big group mission and then head back to the base and camp down in your bunker..i mean they have beds anddesks in the bunkers butno one ever does anything in therebecause you can't interact with the stuff..i think you aught to be able to put stuff down and pick it up where ever you are..as long as its your stuff...andto eliminate littering the objects coulddissapear after like a day....i'm just so crazy about the roleplaying i think of things like that....but I LOVE the game and i think its incredible...i'm just always thirsting for more interaction! lol..thanks for reading this...

aaahh..I also think our avatars should still be able to do some emotes and socials when sitting...and that we should sit more relaxed on like couches and stuff...every chair i sit on i'm on the very edge and look like i was starched....also i think there aught to be a "lay down" option on the beds. and i think that on the couches and love seats two poeple aught to be able to sit...if you try and sit two people on a big couch they end up on top of each other....yeah i'm nit picking...but those are just some suggestions.

Wookies

Why are they so powerless.

The Wookies are a feared Race in Star wars.

The HAM of a wookie and his incapability to wear any armor is dumb. The Problem is increased because the extraorisnary strength of wookies is not considered the right way.

If we compare Wookies and humans we see the following.

If we compare the standart human with the standart wookie.
The wookie has about 25 % more Health Strength and Condition Points. the Wookies are on of the three strongest races in the galaxie and that has to be reflexted. The Wookie must have 50% or more Health/Strength and Condition points than a human.
The Wookies natural abilities to hunt critters must be enhanced. A jung wookie has to solo a shadow beast before he can call himself a man.
How is it possible that 2 Durnies incapped me when i started playing. I am a wookie i could have grabed them and teared their bodies into to parts.
I can tear cpo units into parts with my strength which human can do this !!!

Wookies main profession is the hunter. Their home planet has the most dangerous critters of the galaxie. It has a reason that wookieslibve in tree houses. Wookies should be able to evade critter attacks much better than humans.

I dont understand why the wookie is build the way that he is the best Race to become a Creature handler. A Wookie would never become a Creature handler. Wookies respect the nature and all kind of life. Animals should not be domesticated.

Wookies are fascinated and affiliated to technologie. I dont understand why but thats the way it is.

Wookies need a complete revamp or you will find nothing else like wookkie Ch in the galaxie

I dont know if you wll agree with this but i think that droid engineer is abit neglected atm. This may be due to them building droids that arnt really what people are looking for ( accept Seeker droids and medical droids). I was thinking that maybe droid engineers could get alot more business and make either PA v PA battles or citys more interesting by enroling personal droid armies into the game. Of course it would depend on how big the city or PA etc was into how large an armie could be but i think that if you could only call these armies on battlefields then this could really boost the amount of people joining in with battles.

Here ae some of the roles that could be encorporated to make proffesions better :

Architects - can build factorys to make the armies

Weaponsmiths - can provide guns

Armoursmith- can provide the armour

Droid engineers- can provide the robot and fix the components together ( droid base, Armour, Weapon)

Squad leaders - Squad leaders cancontrol a maximum amount of droids depending on their level

I think that ths would work well not only does it help the crafting proffesions above but it also helps squad leaders to make the proffession a bit more interetsing

Feel free to add anything u think about that could make this better

Greetings again! I have a few more things to say and suggest... so please bear with me. I am sitting up waaay too late, waiting IMpatiently for publish 6!! ...pant ...pant... drool.. (I am Stoked... no pun intended.)

I cannot wait for Publish 6, the Imperial Crackdown, and the improved gameplay that it suggests. I only hope that it is done on a large enough scale! Let's not forget... this is the EMPIRE! Stormtroopers are cattle, and with numbers comes corruption and arrogance. I would like to see successful "busts" by troops result in MORE taken from an individual than just spice and sliced weapons. CASH ON HAND should be at risk. In fact, TOO MUCH cash on hand should attract troopers AND thugs!! Corrupt troopers should also take random clothes and items.

I am interested in the level of NPC "A.I." and interaction with player characters... Could the same thing be done to OTHER characters?? NPC's dialogue and functions should be more immersive. Tuskens should raid (eventually MORE than just one town), Jabba factioners should "sell death sticks" or spice, Alliance members in the wilderness should talk of the injustices of the Empire and the triumphs of the Rebellion. (opposite for Imps in the wilderness) We should SEE Stormtroopers slaughtering Jawas in the streets.. or harassing OTHER Npc's etc. It would be nice to PURCHASE the upcoming driods from Jawas... or to TALK to the EWOKS and possibly accept missions from them? Which leads me to..

Factions. I have to agree with others, I think there should be more faction options. There were those who just DID NOT get involved in the GCW. Aside from the obvious PIRATE faction, why not make SWOOPER a faction (built in support for newbies?), again.. JAWA (cheaper droids, but ragtag?), NIGHTSISTER (a path to the dark side), etc.

I think there should be a way to EARN more Skill Points. For example: If you Master a Profession, you get 1 more SP (avail ONCE only, attached to badge?)... if you earn 5Mil XP you get 1 more SP. This makes sense. If your character has "been around the Galaxy" long enough.. they WOULD BE more powerful.. more diverse in talent... more EXPERIENCED than other characters. Perhaps... to BALANCE this... there should be a way to LOSESP as well...

I am in favor of making animals and droids more "unpredictable". Random acts of violence or strange actions (animals MATING w/each other?... grazing?.. attacking wild animals.. leaking coolant?.. coughing up hair/scaleballs?.. etc) would make droids and animals SELL !! (Exceptions to breakdowns/revolt would be MASTER Driod Engineer/Creature Handler.)

Languages currently serve no purpose in the game. Perhaps they should be harder to "learn" initially. Perhaps "learning" should come in stages. Lets say someone is speaking in Zabrack. If you have "learned" the language... you would pick up "standard" words here and there in a sentence (inside their word balloons) ... conversely, you would SPEAK a word or 2 correctly as well." IF CONTINUED USE of language persists (one standard day cycle?)... you "UNDERSTAND" the language. NOW you make out every 2nd or 3rd word... after a LONGER time of use... you are "FLUENT" in the language... where if someone is speaking in Zabrack... you understand tham completely. ..just a thought. (Oh... text should BE in Zabrack... like profanity filter... ifu are speaking in zabrack... only those "fluent" would get the entire message)

I wish there was a way to SCALE the difficulty of the Meatlumps, etc. At present, they are just an annoyance to veterans. If they were tougher or served some purpose...

CANTINAS should house Jubilee tables and eventual PAZZAC tables!! (btw... THANKS, Thunderheart... for the reply... yea! This message board works, AND Pazzac is coming!) I also think Jubilee tables, etc should be available for the HOME and PA Halls.

I suggested a mission creation tool in one of my earlier posts... if THAT seems to radical, how about a mission creation FORUM!?!?

The DISCOUNT shuttle ticket pac idea is brillance!! VEHICLE WEAPONS need to be addressed.

I would like to see the "Data Terminals" become useful. It would be an excellent place for all the ideas like "advertizing forum", Galactic News, planetary updates (where battles are happening), etc. This could help allievate the CONSTANT SPAMMING that happens at ALL starports. If vendors had a place to write creative and amusing adverts... FUNCTIONAL GADGETS are brilliant as well.. I WANT macrobinocs, glowrods, etc.

Could droids be given some kind of A. I. module to make them more independent?? My protocol driod should have a LIBRARY of sayings that happen randomly. My R4 should occasionally RUN AWAY!! etc.

I will post a FULL posting on profession Mix and Match after i read it... but DUAL MASTER characters SHOULD BE like a 3rd PROFESSION with bonuses and deficits!!

OK.. time to get back to the game. I am a (currently) unemployed camera assistant with puh-lenty of time on my hands, so until i get my next film... i will be playing and making outlandish suggestions on this board!!

Wold be nice if there was a concept of LAND ownership... what I mean is, if I want to use up several or all 10 of my lots in one place, I would be able to place a "Private Property" fence and build anything I want within that fence: buildings, put up streetlamps, gardens, statues, etc. Obviously no "advanced city" features like shuttle ports or cloning facilities, but something to create own individualized plots of land, not just put up a standard building...

I would just like to voice my opinion that Lightsabers should NOT do kinetic damage as they are sabres of energy that do energy damage like an extremely blaster bolt but when they tough something (such as metal) they can melt through it. A baseball bat does kinetic damage. A baseball bat doesnt melt through a metal post when you hit it.

For further information on lightsabers:

As quoted from the Unofficial Star Wars Encylopedia, referenced from many many sources(movies, books, sourcebooks, etc etc)
http://www1.theforce.net/cuswe/entries.asp?page=8&search=L

Lightsaber:
traditional Jedi weapon, used much like a sword. It consists of cylindrical handle in which sophisticated circuits channel a beam of light through a series of jewels, which modulate the blade's size and amplitude. It was considered one of the Jedi students' final challenges to construct their own lightsaber. Many Jedi Masters stressed the lightsaber as a true test of their apprentice's progress, for the the lightsaber's power is great. A true Jedi Knight only uses the lightsaber for defense, never attack, and there is a great deal of patience involved with learning this. Some Masters also use the lightsaber as a way to get their apprentices to focus their minds on the Force, for it takes a great deal of skill to wield one. The mechanics of a lightsaber are simple, although the application of them takes great skill and concentration. A novice Jedi Knight should be able to create his first lightsaber in about a month. A trained Jedi Master can, in a hurry, could construct one in a few days. Note that the Star Wars Journal: The Fight for Justice indicates that a Jedi is given his lightsaber on his first day of training. Every lightsaber contained these basic components: a power cell, a handgrip, an activation plate or stud, a safety switch, a blade-length adjuster, an emitter matrix, and recharge socket, a lens assembly, at least one focusing crystal, a power conduit, and an optional belt ring. When activated, internal power cells create photoelectric energy which is focused through one, two, or three multi-facted crystals. In the lightsabers of the Jedi Knights, these crystals were found in nature, a task which reqruied the Jedi to focus their concentration on selecting a stone which would focus the energy and not explode. Early Jedi obtained crystals from the planet Ruusan, but the deposits on the planet were destroyed during the Battle of Ruusan. More often than not, the Jedi Knights of the Old Republic used crystals from the planet Ilum, which emitted blue or green blades. The Sith, however, used synthetic crystals formed in incredibly hot ovens, using their emotional control of the Force to assist in the formation of the stone. These Sith crystals generated a red blade which had the unusual strength to cleave a normal lightsaber blade in two. Jedi Knights of the New Republic era did not know of the Ilum deposits, and so many of them discovered other sources of crystals which produced a wide variety of blade colors. The energy was formed into a tight, parallel beam of coherent packets. These packets are emitted through a positively-charges, continuous energy lens which projects the packets away from the lightsaber. The packets are almost immediately attracted back to the lightsaber by a negatively-charged, high-energy flux aperature, and then continually recycled to create the glowing blade. The packets are recycled by a superconductor back into the power cell for re-energizing. The entire process is completely contained. No energy is lost, since the light in the blade is recaptured. No heat is generated, either. The only energy loss occurs when the blade strikes an object. When Obi-Wan Kenobi began teaching Luke Skywalker how to use his father's lightsaber, Kenobi began by showing Luke the basic body positions used by the Jedi. There were seven attack positions, and four defensive positions. Each attack or defense position flowed into the next, creating a smooth, continual motion. To perform them all in sequence takes concentration, skill, and stamina.
