TH said wookiees would be getting armor or an armor equivalent in Publish 7 a month or so ago... I hope that hasn't changed.....

might be in the wrong place but....

i like the new mounts (i use a vehicle as well but nothing like riding a trusty steed on occasion charging aimlesslyinto battle)

banthas and cupas are long overdue

however

i have one complaint

nuna still cannot be bio-engineered

the gaming community needs nuna to survive

please give us nuna

or at least make bio-engineers able to make whatever creature they sample dna from

sample enough from a reptillian flier and you can build a schematic

build your own template and make that critter

just an idea

i still want nuna

When I first logged into my game that I was so excited about my friend asked me what profession I thought I would like to be. I said I like swords so I will be a swordsman. After a month of hard work I finaly mastered heavy swordsman and was very happy to finaly be tough. So I thought until my first encounter with a TKM where I was nothing but something for him to have fun with as he kd/dizzy hit me over and over. So I mastered other professions and stacked my defense so that I might be able to stop this awesome attack from killing me no matter what I did. Then I find my swords bleed has been weakened and now my defense will be capped. I enjoyed be able to fight hard mobs to get decent loot and standa better chanceto keepplayers who have only mastered TK off of me. Now I am going to be even weaker to this attack and will have to wait for people I know to be online to go out adventuring. I am either going to have to master TK or just quit thanks for nothing

This publish seems to adress some of our major concerns/wishes. I myself am extatic at the prospect of actual LAMPS instead of torches! The ability to move things up and down also is big, it will make decorating my house so much easier, lol.

Well the one with warcry is really a bit unfair, because a smuggler still has this kind of attack. Then you fixed very useless stuff, while important ones still dont get fixed..... i really dont see, why pikeman isnt mentioned or why riflemen and combatmedics still seem to be the uber-chars. Anyway most other things seem nice.... good work.

Ok. Here we go. First off, I dunno how to start a thread so if someone does know how, please make one and u can copy and paste this to it or just tell me, lol. Ok, this has nothing to do with this section. This is for the good of the Star Wars Galaxies players. The ones that pay 15 bucks a month to play a game. This "Play Nice" policy is completey rediculous. Here's one situation I have, or had. My friend is a jedi. Someone gave him admin rights to his house because he learned of my friend's profession. Now, this guy has a ton of crystals and pearls in his house, so its a gold mine to a newb jedi. So, we had a cool plan to steal the guys stuff and use it for our own jedi characters. Now, I know its bad and those of you that are gonna get mad at me can go take a hike cause i really dont care. But the only thing stopping us from doing this is this "Play Nice" policy. Which first off, sounds like a dang 5 year old rule. What happend to players being able to immerse themself in a star wars universe? First off, some of the professions are way out of line for the plot of the game. Second, they (SOE) act as if no one in the Star Wars movies would ever steal anything that they god admin rights for(but in the movies, I dont think admin rights exist. lol) I am now holding a petition to go against and destroy this "Play Nice" policy. I hope Lucas Arts steps in on this. I know this isnt the company's doing. LucasArts as proven themself time and time again to be a great company of star wars games. I love every title they make. This game isnt bad, I, along with a few thousand other players that are paying 15 a month wish that this policy be abolished. I, along with many other players will quit this game if changes arent made soon.

It looks like Jedi arent supposed to be fun oruber but a form of entertainment for the BH's. I'm glad for the BH's that finaly have some real content now but for the low lvl Jedi this will be hell, ill be waiting forthe skilled BH's with my almost decayed saber and crates of Defense VS Dizzy food.

Hmmmm, seems to me smugglers got something added in Publish 6. The ability to smuggle illegal good past checkpoints, or random scans.

Crowd control? Is there going to be a riot? What other reason would I use warcry for if I wasn't going to or already attacking it?



Um, the way it sounds to me you can use it right before an attack as long as the creature is not "in combat" and it will have the same effect, except over a cone area instead of one target. Yes, it sounds like a little bit of a trade off, but ithas the same effectas long as you use it first, which you normally do anyway, right? So now it effects a cone instead of one thing. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but that's not all bad.

Before all the über-Jedi start complaining that any Bounty Hunter will be able to track them down and kill them no matter what, why don't you try finding out how the Bounty Hunter Jedi Missions work?


Unless they've changed it, you will not show up on a Bounty Hunter Mission terminal unless you use your force powers out in public enough to get you noticed quite a few times. If you play smart and keep it secret you probably won't show up as a target for Bounty Hunters.


You might have to use your head and actually play like a Jedi that is being hunted by the entire galaxy instead of running through town flashing your lightsaber yelling, "Look at me. I'm an über-Jedi!" It's called a more "Star Warsy" playstyle. Either play like a Jedi; smart, secretive, and with a little wisdom - or die. The choice is yours.

Did you read the beginning of this thread? You will be able to call your vehicle ANYWHERE. Next time read first.
