I love this new Jedi-BH change. I am neither profession and I am not into PvP, but I think being a Jedi should be a VERY hard life to live and I am glad this change is taking place. I do, however, support some kind of counter that the Jedi should possess...like some sort of early warning, sixth sense type of deal that lets him or her know when a Bounty Hunter (who is after him, TEF) is about to attack. Even some sort of special defense could work. Either way, this is a very good start here.

good good but make Non CH's get the Cu Pa's and also where is the AT-AT Walkers and when are Battle fields back?

"ok so lets see if i have this correct.......

you (the devs) gave us (the players) the ability to combine our classes using skill points to enable us to tune our characters personally to how we saw fit as long as we stayed with in 250 skill points. Sounds reasonable, i could be a doctor and a ranger, a smuggler or a pistoleer. Myself, i wanted to PvP so i chose pistoleer/fencer, i cant buff myself, create ANY items to sell, chuck poisions, slice weapons or armor, none of these things are avaliable to me because i chose combat as the priority for my character, heck i cant even do great damage as a pistoleer/fencer, what i can do is dodge like a mofo, this is my ONLY edge in combat, its how i fight, stinging here and knicking there, hoping i can stay up long enough to watch my opponent fall, and now your going to take this away, so someone who can buff, rez, slice, so forth and so on with points invested in only ONE combat class stands on equal footing with someone COMPLETLY devoted to PvP. This is just a horrible horrible thought, have you actually played the game that you so seem to enjoy altering at every given turn. I feel that all you have done is listen to the master artisan/dancer/pikeman (bear with the example) who is constantly getting DB'ed in combat and then who turns to the boards and cryes that were to powerful, well, WERE SUPPOSED TO BE, thats the character weve chosen, and they could do it as well, but have not made the sacrifices to do so, and now, we (the defence stackers) are made to pay the price for this.........WHY?

You could possibly be the only person not using the mod stacking exploit...doubtful. Pistoleers do very good damage with bleeds and fencer is a very good class, if you have any clue how to use it. What they are talking about is someone who lvls the defensive trees in tkm/fencer/pistoleer etc. and stack the mods from all 3 professions in PvP. that is wrong. What they are talking about is the l33t retards out there that have "uber" high defense mods due to dabbling in multiple professions, cause their defense mods to be insanely high (when they created this game, they had an idea of how high they wanted to allow your defenses to be, but still make it fun/risky to be a combat profession, i.e. the challenge). What they failed to see, is that you have people who would rather exploit and cheat the system by "dabbling" in multiple fields togain an unfair advantageover the system, and usethat unfair advantage toGRIEF other players. In a nutshell, if you don't "dabble" as well then you are s.o.l., and THIS is what they are fixing. If you have fully mastered 2 professions you deserve and will most likely keep your defense mods as is...they are picking on the griefers and exploiters, not the general population of players...tho i will admit that this change could, by accident, harm the general population by decreasing the def mods below the lvl of 2 profs mastered.

DEVS PLEASE FIX PISTOLEER'S SPECIALS stop ignoring pistoleer... jezus... /diarming shot 1 and 2 ... /bodyshot1 2 3... /multitargetshot... they're all terrible and they all suck. FIX THEM.

I was dissapointed that there is no mention of fixing the pistoleer specials. I was also dissapointed that there is no mention of rangers in publish 7.


I am totally stoked about the Z-axis for items in houses.

Its the sounds devs make when discussing what to do next with commandos....As in:


Dev 1: "So, next on the plate...Commandos..."


Dev 2, 3, 4, 5 : "grumble...snort...pfft...groan"


Dev 1: "Settle down...Lessee....Misnamed skill trees, one tree completely nonfunctional, grenades that incap the thrower, expensive disposable weapons..."


Dev 2: "Screw it...Lets fix the illegal hairstyles, droid colorization, add a couple of mounts noone will use because of speeders....say...Isnt the DoT really the last thing Commando's have going for them?"


Dev 3: "Well, yeah, but...Lets throw in fireblankets just to add a little salt to the mix...Oh yeah, NERF IT!!!!"


TH: "All those in favor of nerfing the Flame DoT to kingdom come?"

Warcry changes...im trying to look on the brigt side here...


If you manage to change it so that the warcry is an AOE and lasts longer then it may be ok. If it can land without having to aggro or hit the target.


but if you take away all the melee class pause attacks..follow thru and take away ALL classes pause attacks. Were already getting kited while we try to get close enough to attack..there not taking damage..NOW what do we do...just keep getting shot while we try to move in. come on! This is very close to being a absolutely worthless skill in PvP. tread carefully.


60 seconds to pull my vehicle after combat..WHY if its after combat then im not trying to make a quick getaway..if im pulling my vehicle I won. Another time sink is a very frustrating bad idea. A game is supposed to be fun...time sinks are NOT FUN!


For the love of the Force give the wookies some armor!!!!!!!!!!!

the majority of the patch notes are cool...but come on did we need 2 more mounts before larger issues are addressed!!

NICE changes! Finally, I can train Banthas for all those noobs that want to have Banthas to ride, and the few people with Sandpeople gear left can look the part, hehe. Any chance in sandpeople loot coming back devs? Espc now with banthas, lol.



No I don't have a freakin sig. Just make something up and pretend it's here man. woman. umm...Whatever.

Warcry is already a method of crowd control with its cone effect. Will it no longer effect only a single target? That doesn't seem possible. If it affects two or three creatures it has to affect one.


So this is the new version of 'camo' for NPC's and creatures? I have 10-20 seconds of peace in which me and my party can run like hell or choose to fight. This, of course, is useless against PC's. Will this be removed from my combat tab and placed under 'socials' or another heading? It certainly will not be helpful in battle as defined and can no longer reside under my 'attacks' tab.


Why is this neccesary? Were too many Brawlers soloing Krayts? I haven't soloed one yet, so I better jump on that wagon before it drives off into the sunset.


Are HAM costs going to lowered for this useless skill? Right now HAM costs are pretty significant and even with my +15 Warcry/Intimidate camos and Master Brawler status I can only stick Warcry about one-third of the time.

This is wonderful that Carbineer specials are being tweaked, but at what point are you planning to make more than3 Pistoleer specials work at all?? That would be particularly handy since Melees are apparently getting bonuses to hit us.
