I think you underestimate SOE's power to take great potential and do exactly the opposite of what would make it shine. This thread alone proves the level they work at.

Thunderheart can you please respond to these questions:
- Can the development team please provide the community with a valid reason for pushing back the combat revamp?
The most important reasons are:
- I understand that there are many people against having Jedi in the game, but it is part of the game. En masse, the community was adamant that we change the holocron/professions system and that time is now. Given the effort that went in to publish 9, we needed to clear the schedule and make room for publish 10 to do a better job on it. The Jedi system needed to be changed because it was effecting everyone. That is why it had the shceudling priority that it has.
- The Combat Balance is a huge publish and will have as much code in it as a console game. Its huge. We need the expertise and the manpower to do it correctly.
With all due respect, why release a expansion pack before fixing problems already existing within the game?
I would start with "With all due respect", but you used it =P, soin short and with respect, this isn't "just an expansion". This is Space. Space is something that everyone wanted at launch and Space is needed to create the Star Wars experience.
The other side of that is that JTL has been in production since January. We can't delaysix and half months of work for something that really makes Star Wars what it is.
Assuming theexpansion will have a few problems, wouldn't that just create alarger backlog for you guys, and take time away from other problems?
Those integration problems are being accounted for and that's why we needed more scheduling time. Publish 10 and taking the extra time to make integration with the ground game smoother is the time from the schedule that was needed. All in all, they were very difficult decisions to make.
Your community wants the combat balance ASAP. If you did a poll right now, you would find that out, we've had to play in an unbalanced combat system for 12+ months, we're sick and tired of it, and we want it fixed, NOW.
Back at launch, everyone didn't know about the glaring problems that would be present in the combat system, so we thought bigger and better, which ended up with us wishing for Space.
It would be nice if you listened to your customers, instead the player base is about to plummet because of your "schedule changes".

Deleting our posts is only gonna make us more pissed off TH
I understand that and I've asked the mods to NOT delete anything unless it breaks our posted community policies.
As for 1 star bandits? I can't do anything about that.
I'm not going to buy Jump to Light Speed until this combat balance is done....
...and i just cancelt my accounts.
I wish you best luck with making SWG the finest MMORPG ever, but without me

The development cycle still has momentum and we still have some other important items, big and small, coming out of the pipeline. Here is what still lies ahead:
Publish 10 is slated for the end of August, but one of the reasons for these delays is to make as much room as possible for extra implementation and testing time.
Before publish 10, we plan on launching the character transfer system
In Publish 9.2 We’re publishing Wookiee armor sets #2 and #3, new crafting quests and the second swoop race
Publish 9.3 will bring us the third swoop race
Publish 10 will be the Jedi Trials. This will be the new gateway to the Jedi profession that will by a mysterious path to unlocking Force sensitivity.
Publish 10.1 is going to bring us an exciting surprise and also a list of Correspondent requests
Publish 10.2 is focused on the entertainers which features a unique new game experience where entertainers, Dancers and Musicians can perform for an NPC audience for the reward of a new song and dance.
When was it decided that the path to FS would be "mysterious"? On my last look at the poll you put up it was in favor of "known".
I really hope you are not going to penalize all of us that refused to Holo grind.
