Im seriously thinking about canceling my account...i spent ALL of my cash on a suit of composite b/c we were promised a removal of 1% decay in pvp, Thankx for SHAFTING your consumers yet again, if the 1% decay isnt removed from pvp like promised then im probly going to switch games and ill NEVER buy another SOE product again...

If this were my first SOE product, it would probably be my last. Notmuch to look forward to in this game because it's always a "typo" a "mistake" or a "miscommunication"

I'd like to ask another question. How do you honestly expect to keep customers with this current level of service? I want you guys to give ME a reason to continue paying for this game. I hate to throw the paying customer crap at you but I feel that I am not getting my money's worth (I am sure i'm not the only one feeling this way)

Nope. It really was wishful thinking...

They removed the need to insure after each death. The 1% decay is tougher to do technically, though I wont give up.

The biggest obstacle to that is if nothing decays then Tailors and Weaponsmiths don't get repeat business...and we need to love them too.

it shouldnt matter how hard it is to do if its what the players want its what the players want. we are the ones paying monthly to play this game and there are things that are making it not very fun

I dont know if this was said already, I hate reading so I skiped alot of the pages, but an idea would be, if you were Declared you wouldent get the 1% decay, this would make people declare more often and no more TEF whores in pvp fights, this to me would be the best idea to get rid of decaying, like I said, this might have been mentioned but I didnt read the whole post. Sry if it was.

Make an if else statement asking if faction was lost for the no decay.

Make an if statement on whether the person was insured and if that one was true then another if about if the insurance stayed.

Other than that, if your Decay "Mechanic" can't access your insurance "Mechanic" then it was just Sh!ty coding and you should admit you F-ed up

Just another person here letting you guys know that the removal of PvP decay was thing I was most looking forward to in this game. It would easily jump start the GCW twice as effectivly as all of the imperial crackdown. You can't tell me it would be harder to code no PvP decay than the imperial crackdown. Please get on this even if it can't be here for the next patch.

This is messed up.

Why is 1% decay on death so hard to remove if you guys added it in after release??? You just DESTROYED one of the best things about this patch.

You guys need to start paying attention to the players... there are some promising MMORPGs coming soon...

Can I grind to Imperial officer to avoid this too?

Seriously though, why do you keep discouraging PvP/overall fun with decay, and not supporting the /gcw?

Iwas just about to yell "Game on!" too ... I guess we are all supposed to go back to the grind. Thunderheart, this is the worst I've felt since we testers were told this was going live. I actually enjoyed myself more then is the sad thing...

weapons armor and clothes all decay fast enough from combat. how about increasing mission payouts to pay compansate for the higher prices were paying. Truth be told, armorsmiths and weaponsmiths are taking advantage of decay.

Sorry, but I have to call BS on that. Weaponsmiths would get repeat business anyway - guns decay as they are used. You can repair them, but you're not guarenteed to succeed. Armor already decays with use also.

So, this Imperial Crackdown thing is going to encourage PvP and the decay is going to punish us for it? /boggle

ThunderHeart,
Please answer the questions that have repeated throughout about the idea that the code cannot tell what is PVP and PVE, but can still understand that you do not need to reinsure.

Hopefully, this counterdictive statement did not come from the Dev team, that would be even more embarrassing (could be why there is not answer thus far). It seems to me that this is simply a miscommunication, please tell us that is the case. If not, tell us that the Dev's do what they want regardless of customer satisfaction.

We have been told that there would be clearer communication between the devs/business decisions, this miscommunication is a detriment to the trust of the customer. Hopefully, there was not a miscommunication, also with the statement to the customer, about improved communications that you will soon "readjust".

Thanks,
WolfCoast
