Ubese shirts have no condition, and therefore have no decay, they are decay-less, nada, zilch. They're as functional new as they are 10 years old and battlescarred. Use them to your good health. Ignore the red for now as it relates to ubese shirts, for these shirts it has no meaning.

This is not correct. Ubese shirts do have 'condition'... it just is not displayed in the examine window... their is an 'under the hood' condition value for these items though.

Dont know if that's true or not about ubese shirts, ours haven't crapped out on us at all, still have the benefits of the attachments, so dont know about that. What I do know is true is that the red condition indicator is a default stat as a result of the lack of condition on these items and has no effect and can be ignored, just wear the item and benefit from its attachments without worry.

Are there any true Star Wars fans out there who are at irritated as I am that Jedi are allowed other professions in the first place? Jedi are generally trained from childhood and are required to give up basically everything for their Jedi training...that means no other professions. They are forbidden to marry, have to keep emotions in check, are wanderers that do not own factories and houses. The arguement that you are just Force Sensitive when you are using other professions doesn't stand up either because force sensitives that are not trained as Jedi are not capable of manipulating the force....besides that fact that I have seen "force sensitive" players wearing robes and using lightsabers but tagged as TKMs etc....funny I thought only actual Jedi could use lightsabers. Jedi shouldn't be allowed to have other professions period and this patch totally ruined the immersion for any true Star Wars fan. It's not even Star Wars anymore....

While I agree to some extent... Darth Maul was trained in the Teras Kasi arts. But to add more fun to the game you just can't keep everything as strict as the movies or Star Wars cannon. It doesn't make sense.

There has to be balance within the game, which we haven't reached in over a year but we are still hoping for it.

Actually, they are. It was part of Jedi Archives 3 and Im working with the team to get this looked at.

Yeah getting a box for box conversion and robes THAT ACTUALLY PROTECTED were also parts of the archives, too. Still working on those?

Great point Kyle. Tons of things have changed since these Archives were posted and they went live. I don't see any strict adherence at all to the archives. If we are going down this path then Jedi are left shafted even farther into nerfdom.

Where is our armor piercing of Lightsabers (negated by vulnerability)? 500 dmg in PvP like told to players at Fan Fest (lies)? Armor protection of robes? (Read Archives) Box coversions being equal and on and on...

In my opinion if you can't have fun playing a Jedi the way a Jedi truly is then don't play one. I can't say I know much about Darth Maul's background....but it is safe to say that Dark Jedi don't exactly follow the rules set by the Order.... I just think the Devs have rolled over and catered to too many whining people that want stuff handed to them...they want to have their cake and eat it too.

The Jedi path should be long and arduous...this is a role playing game...

Well soon as pub 9 hit ... I ran into a Force Sensitive Char that was "retrained into a master tka master rifleman and could use a lightsaber... LOL and wanted to duel me. Then standing at a starport ... lo and behold 3 of them RARE jedi standing around dueling with swords.. Well I am waiting for the pub 10.. then if Jedi are to numerous and running around I will cancel my accounts. I just hope the the pub comes out before I have to pay on my 3 accounts and purchase JTL.. Are you listening to us DEVS? Soon all u will have really playing this game are Jedi..But you can look at the bright side with fewer people lot less lag and probably can cut servers back as well.

There is still a problem with not being able to log back into the game if you get disconnected from being AFK. You have to completely exit the game, and reload it.

The numbers of Jedi don't bother me really, it's their visibilty that does. Or their "visiual". The robes were based too much on the clothing seen in Episode 1 and 2. The result is the Jedi appearance is as if there were still an Acadamy and Jedi were free to roam around. Luke and Obi-Wan's appearance in the later films is a much more immersive appearance for the time line. Perhaps later additions of cloaks will help mitigate the issue for me.

Armour: Give Jedi back the ability to wear armour and use their sabres and force powers, but give each piece of armour a force cost and negative regen. The more armour they wear the less they can do before expending their energies (something along the lines originally intended for the rest of us). A Jedi could then choose armour defense and limited damage, or increased damage and less defense. The inability for a Jedi to use the Force while wearing armour is nonsensical and an unelegant solution that unnecessarily took away player choice.

The above solution generally seems to cover all bases. Higher level Jedi won't want the "force encumberance" and will chose the improved regen of the robes, while lower level Jedi and more significantly hybrid Jedi can enjoy the protection.

I intend remaining a hybrid and I think this issue with armour will be crippling.

On the weapon switch delay - only allow the delay to affect changes between weapons of a similiar type. For example, switching between a pike and pistol is easy - it would be easy for a person to carry both- but switching between two different pikes would be longer - after all in reality a person wouldn't be carrying two anyway.

Force Armor 2 seems to be broken and not functioning properly. It seems that it's not blocking any damage, despite the damage block animation and the damage block message in combat spam. The damage you take is identical to the attack damage the mob deals out to you. For example, a Janta will hit you for 150 damage, the combat spam will indicate that Force armor has blocked X amount of damage, but you get hit for the original 150 damage over your head. I've tested this tonight, multiple times, even with the character sheet open and counting the damage taken, and indeed it seems that Force armor 2 is not blocking damage despite the message that it is blocking in the combat spam window.

6) 0/0 Items: For the most part, this is not an issue. If an item is appearing as 0/0, its condition is correct, except in the case of Ubese shirts. If you have any specific examples, please post them in this thread. There was some discussion of brand new items being 0/0, but we have no in house examples and could not reproduce it in QA. If you have any information, please post it.

Im seeing this with any decayable item in my bank deposit - whenever I log on some random item is red - sometimes brand new armor pieces, sometimes clothing - even crystals are showing red.

Having no armor in the current system is just plain stupid. Robes need to provide a decent amount of protection. A novice brawler with his 90% armor can go afk for 30 min. with 3 rancor beating on him, while a jedi can fight 3 rancor without getting spanked..**edit** is with that?
