WOW is all i can say..... oh not about the DBW i really have no interest in that pile of unrewarding frustration..... the WOW is for 14 PAGES of player comments and all i saw was ONE dev response..... re-stating what profs can wear the mando armor! guess they left the lights on but no one stayed home.....

oh and 1 more opinion.... as to the 'hard-core, power gamers' needing more content... we ALL pay $15 a month so we should ALL get equal attention. i think you feel as if you mean more to the game because you spend so much time here. if we added up the time spent by the (being generous) 5% powergamers and the 95% casual funseekers.... the math would lead not only to US having more overall time spent BUT also thatWE put more money into SOE's coffers.... just something to ponder while ya wait to clone after the DWB

Since the insane difficulty has been posted enough here, let me move on to something else that is even more disturbing:

Q: Why does it take 3rd party websites or even a "Game Guide Forum" for us to figure out what to do in quest content like this that is introduced into the game?

We arrived at the bunker with a large group of various elite professions. Again, never mind the insane difficulty of even taking two steps toward the entrance despite dozens of engaged players. We tried to access the first door control panel and it said to find someone who was knowledgeable about the Deathwatch. OK, so knowing that Boba Fett was somehow involved with this quest, I left for Jabba's Palace on Tatooine. I went up to Boba and he basically insulted me, and vaguelly mentioned a Deathwatch bunker in the NW area of Endor. Great! Thanks for the dead end.

So then I told the group (only half of whom were still at the bunker and were nearly dead) that it was a bust, and to have a nice night. I then proceeded to Fort Tusken to finish up the last box of TK. What is terribly, terribly sad about this is that I am a veteran player (from first week of launch) who has already unlocked Jedi (on my other account, not this one) and on the day that this new magnificent content was published, I'm off grinding yet another profession (also notice I'm not out enjoying the Jedi experience either, but that's due to get revamped....I hope). Why? Because we don't get enough "quest initiating bread crumb paths" in game to help us uncover the story, and the concept of massive HAMs and resists does not = good content.

Where is the formula that states when players feel they have accomplished a lot in a given game, devs should just jack up the HAMs and resists to make it "feel" like they have something left to conquer? How does this entertain anyone? It gives groups the perspective of piling a ton of friends into a car and repeatedly slamming it into a brick wall for an our or two, then heading back with headaches and destroyed assets and a feeling of "wasted time". We don't want "silver platter" delivered looted items, but a fun experience with less frustration between actual combat and quest information would be a huge improvement to the majority.

I hate to be negative, but seriously....this is very disapointing (as was the Corvette experience).

Well I guess somebody somewhere is feeling bummed out. I know there had to be alot of work go into this mini pub. This hole post is nothing but us not liking it.

Just please re-evaluate the risk vs reward. The game is sorely missing things to do, and coming out with something thatis ni-impossible and spending months of dev time on it, isn't being productive. I know I can't and certainly wouldn't read every post on this board, but I don't ever recall somebody saying we need something more challenging. What we do need is things more interesting, which could somewhat mean more challenging, but not in the sense of rough-neck NPC's.

Devs please realize this, people do not like to camp group monsters, people do not like they have to group for the best loot. Some may deal with it, but it isn't what makes a good game. EQ is the worst MMORPG out there, but it is also the best. EQ isn't big because of the game dynamics, it is because the game was released at the right time and got alot of folks hooked. If EQ was released today it would be a flop. So please for the love of all that is holy stop with this group for best loot mantality. Grouping is fine, and grouping is fun, but you must stop making all the new content and best content/items require groups. It is assine.

I have to agree with those that these super power dungeons just really aren't cutting it. A party of 15 of us went in there and we did well, got past down to the mines before we all died. The respawn rate is just too mean considering all the bells and whistles you have to jump through just to accomplish anything. Plus the lack of good drops from SBDs and other things you kill compounds the frustration.

This worries me now about publish 10. The new path to the jedi designed to replace hologrinding. Will someone have to do the equivilant of 3 or 4 "deathwatch bunkers" to open their force sensitivity slot? It seems the devs answer to high level content or a challenge is to simply toss an ungodly number of super battle droids at a high respawn rate. [Corvette, DWB].

I know the devs want to keep things in here "rare". But it seems they always resort to the easy way out. I hear the Corvette is deader than Talus on a Sunday morning.

The devs will add much more Warren type soloable content, but for god sakes everything in this game is soloable except for Vette and Deathwatch. Are you people saying its to much to ask to have SOME high end content in this game?? So you would Penalize the Hardcore gamer because you casual gamers are to selfish to sit back and wait your turn.

How long exactly do you expect us to wait ?

Another 3 mini-publishes in which a profession gets revamped (ID) or another hardcore-dungeon is added ?

As I've said before, I think it's a common agreement that not everyone can be made happy all at once or at the same time.

But 3 hardcore dungeons in a row is a wee bit too much focused at heavy duty fighters IMO.

But the thing you dont realize is Geno can be done with 3 people man thats not that hardcore, and drops excelent loot.

It can be done with 3 elite combat templates, how long would 3 entertainers last in there?

Corvette can be done with 10 Mastrerd professions, thats still not that hardcore.

Once again, how would the non-master combat professions last in there?

The deathwatch bunker is the only true hardcore thing that has been added to this game, and you can bring a raid level crew to make it easy.

I want other content to be added, but the point is all that content has been in the game they needed high level content.

I DONT expect you guys to wait as long as we all waited. what 7-10 publishes before we got high end content.

Well since we haven't gotten any new content since launch, I think we have waited long enough. The last 4 new content areas in this game have revolved around the combat classes.

Be patient like we were and give the devs good critisism and you will get your content. But coming on here flaming the devs, telling them there game is crap which not you, but alot of people have done, those people can leave for all i care.

If all of us non-combat whiners left you would be SOL because nobody would be there to make your weapons/armor/buffs etc.

I want there to be content for everyone hard content and simple content and medium content. and in my mind Geonosian Cave was Mid level content everyone can and does enjoy, least on eclipse.

I think you are very narrow minded with this coment. It is easy to look around at the players you enteract with and assume that because they are doing this, everyone else is doing it too. In reality, not everyone is combat geared in this game, and for every person running janta missions on dant, there are probably 3-4 entertainers/crafters who are not.

You know what those are the classes, NON -COMBAT classes that in my opinion have any reason to be mad and im sorry i didnt focus my statement on you guys as well. But this content does add an aspect for The Crafters of the game. Without them mando-armor doesnt get made.

But your right id love to see some entertainer themeparks and i think that should be a priority of the devs, my sole argument is that with the combat classes and thank you for reminding me, you guys are very important to the structure of this game and your right thus far have had no combat additions. I agree that you should get like a few themeparks and maybe a bunker or two. asap.

Here is an idea, make a Dungeon Revamp, haha! When I see this dungeon, I see potential, however the current system cannot stay the way it is. The only reason people want to go to the dungeon falls into 2 reasons:

1) I wanna see the new dungeon, just to see it.
2) I wanna get the new loot.

So far, what i've seen of this dungeon is really a endless grind of NPCsto the end, and lots of NPCs... What if you did it a little differently, make the dungeons itself content. How? Make lots of puzzles to replace the overkill NPCs, would be very much more entertaining to figure out a puzzle, than stand and keep pushing at least 1 spam special button.

Just lower the spawn rate and HAM to the droids and over all difficultly, and increase the puzzles (if there are puzzles needed to complete the bunker). Since there are 70 rooms supposively, i'd suggest making around40 puzzles (i would suggest 70 puzzles but i think that's a bit of a overkill), however make it so that when you exit the Bunker, just make the client or your server remember where you left off, this way it would beentertaining and funto be able todo thedungeons. After you complete the dungeon andhave already crafted1 or 2set ofarmor or jetpack, you would have to start all over again, this wayit would make it rare.I forone would look forward to a new dungeon if it was full of puzzles.

Puzzles would exercise the mind more andwould make you feel like you have accomplished something to get yourprize, not grinding away at droids and other things to fight your way to your prize. It would be really awesome to havelots of puzzlesitwould make you feelas if you were an explorer, (like Indiana Jones ) trying to solvepuzzles for the ultimate reward. Also, making puzzlesentertaining isalso the key,the way toavoid this is not to make a random spawnwith a special item toloot, but make itattainable by solving a puzzle.

Many people have complained this is more for power-gamers and I agree, I would much rather see both casual and power gamers come together in a dungeon. Puzzlesare the answer, both power-gamers andcasual-gamerscan bothdopuzzles.it should be complicated puzzles and not without risk. For example, there are square patterns in room, step on the wrong one and you will get poisoned, step on another andyouwill activate a thermal detector and blow up, step on anotherand you will be safe.

With puzzles, I can see many people working as a group, and meeting new people while doing puzzles. As for the current system of dungeons,

The bad:
- spamming commands
- "Trains" (people that get attacked and runs into a group of people and they start getting attacked)
- Chaos
- HAM too high on droids
- Spawn rate too high on spawns (not only droids)

The good:
- Jetpacks
- both sets of Armor
- HUGE dungeon

Granted, this dungeon has some good points, however the bad points (i know i am missing some) out way the good, this does not look like a healthy atmosphere and causes people upset and concerned for the direction of the game. I agree that this dungeon, in fact almost all dungeons should be made instanced for the lag and crash issues. Just remember, more puzzles would be a 100 times better than the current system of the dungeon.

This is insane! No black sunvibro knucklers due to balancing issues? Almost everyone in the game that has composite armor has an extremely high resist to kenetic, but it seems this is our only type of damage. Sure, us teras kasi artist might be able to knock you down and such, but what use is it if we can't even hurt you? This was something that I and many others were looking forward to but it all of a sudden dissapeared at the last second. We are probably the only class with one damage type. Just please devs. Give us another damage type.

I know the difficulty is supposed to reflect the rarity of the armor, but sheesh, that place is insane.

I saw no real loot there, no one in the large group I was in got anything over a few hours time, besides a few credits. A couple hundred credits just doesnt cut it when your using upexpensive armor like there is no tomorrow. I would also agree with all the others here who stated the spawn rate is too fast, it shouldnt be easy, but fighting SBD'sconstantly is just plain boring.

Are you brave enough to find out what these heinous villains are up to? Work your way through this new adventure zone with over 6 Action packed new quests and unique new crafting missions to find out what has brought these ancient warriors out of hiding!

Have you made it out to the bunker yet?

What were your experiences?

What is your opinion of this new adventure zone?

Here is the problem.

Atactical group effort is requiredto move through this dungeon.

Yet the entire group does not receive a reward for their efforts.

That bites.

I hate the place. It needs huge nerfs. A padawan like Obi-Wan took down the Battle Droids in one second and I am sure the Super Battle Droids were not THAT powerful. The droid NPCs need nerfs, not to mention these guys spawn like crazy, it's like tons of Krayt Dragonsrunning around.

Lesser Super Battle Droid spawns, fix their HAM to be lower and their resists a bit, and that will do it. Make the Super Battle Droids more rare in the dungeon, I see them so commonly... I think they outnumber the Mandalorians inside there.

Can you believe I entered this place with 18 people? Too bad the front door was guarded by 4 Super Battle Droids, who shouldn't really be as a strong as a Dark Jedi Master...

I hear that the Geo gun can be found there.

Hey, I'm a solo pistoleer. I stand no chance at these places. I stand no chance of using the new content. I can only fight at fort tuskin for so long without getting bored. Please, please give some content that doesnt require ubber defense stacking and such to play. Please, please add weapons and vehicles without placing them in the hands of those that will sell them for millions.

I feel like your forgetting a very large part of your player base here. I love that you continue to evolve the game into something great. I appreciate your hard work, but please think of the implications to the content your adding.

Thanks.

My, my, myaren't you a piece of work.

If your only a solo player - quit. Why? Why should an individualwho enjoy's the challenge of soloingdifficult creatures quit? Whyshould a crafter who spends much ofhis/her time crafting/hunting for resourcesby themselves quit? This is a MULTIPLAYER game. Yes it is. There are multiple players in this game. Each of those players is in the game doing something they enjoy, whether its crafting, hunting in a group, hunting solo etc... Go play Doom3, or Jedi academy. No. I don't want to and I suspect Attichetcuk might not want to either. So how about we refrain from telling others what to do or where to go?

The largest player base actually have communication skills and friends. Are you referring to the largest seqmentof the player base? Then yes you're correct, by and large the majority of players possess decent comminication skills and friends. How you're making the connection that solo-players somehow are poor communicators is beyond me.The combat-oriented individual that haslimited play time and cannotjoin in large hunts, because of the various time sinks that seem tonegatively impact thecasual gamers the most, and therefore solo's much of the game is at the very least denied the ability to interact with the playerbase at large. That does not make that individual a poorcommunicator and it doesn't mean that individual is somehowwithout friends as well.Hermits need not apply. How nice of you. So individuals that don't fit you're ideal of a gamer are not welcome to play *** you're *** game. Funny I though it was a multiplayer game. A game SOE owns and therefore not yours.

Just so that two more cents are thrown in:

My entire guild decided that after seeing the severe nerf to the Corvette we weren't going to waste time (read armor, buffs, etc) until people tried it first. It seems we were right. It's just another waiting for something that 0.1% of people can find entertaining. The Geno Cave has been nerfed, the Corvette is impossible for normal players, the DWB is impossible for normal players, the Image Designer holo's are stupid expensive for 20 uses for emotes that last a few seconds, the droid engineer redo has generated grief from spam bots, you introduce game enchancements that are ALWAYS broken (group lists are completely horked), and there are still professions that are broken.

Here is the low down: You are not producing content for the vast majority of people. The cave was the first real fun (read challenge for moderate players) until the spawn rate was cut to nothing. For the last six months, I can count vehicles (which are still bugged) and cities as the only play features of interest. We've been on the Jedi grind and now several of us are reaching 30 in professions. Most of our guild is tired of this stupidity. Release content that is playable or see more of us leave (and, we've been the die-hard, "give it some time" in attitude).

UNERF THE CAVE AND THE CORVETTE, NOW! Give us moderate players something to play in.
