Took one trip so far with 8 guys wearing uber armor and combat masteries, we went slowly at first and did well but started runing out of time and then got dead when we rushed


3 problems with it:


1. The entrance should be a med room where you can re-buff and heal wounds


2. You should auto clone and insure while inside it


3. Aggro should be LOS, i got owned by droids and NPCs shooting through floors and walls (the corridor was clear)


The difficulty is fine, the time limit is kool, the pre-quests were fun. Will wait to try it again though b/c I think the above changes are necessary and probably inevitable.

You have succeeded!


As a Musician/artisan I found out pretty fast that I couldn't do the Corvette missions but that didn't stop me from anxiously awaiting the AV21 vehicle scematic!


Then I found out that unlike every other scematic in the game, this one requires a rare part from the ship.


You have suceeded in making me not even want to log into SWG. Congrats...

Lag wasn't a problem... if I could have it in the future... I'd take the following



50 people


10 BH's10 Commandos, 10 TKMs, 5 Swords/Docs 5 Rifle/CM's, 10 MCH's with Kimo's or whatever a master BE could whip up. I'd then take all 50 and do a Zerg rush to our objective, not stopping to fight and hoping that at least one of us could make it.

I know my post probably wont get seen with all these other pages. Am I the only person who thought the vette was awesome, and not as hard as I thought it would be? I mean...me (Master Fencer) and a Polearm IV had no problem getting a quarter of the way through it. And you guys are talking about 15 person groups of Masters getting incapped in 1 hit? **edit** are you guys babbling about?

Only thing I really have to say is...


KEEP IT THE WAY IT IS. IT'S AWESOME!

ways to improve the corvette:


1) allow buffing inside corvette

2) install an insurance terminal

3) fix LoS bug (npc can shoot you through the walls and vice versa. i lost my at to npc shooting through the floor)

4) lower the max damage output of npc (i was hit with mutli-shot for 4800 damage to the mind)

5) make the escape pod have a confirmation


suggestions for corvette:


1) only bring elite combat profs (minimum 1 master combat medic & 1 doc)

2) DO NOT USE ANY RANGED AoE ATTACKS!!!!!!!!!!

3) you do not have to kill every mob in sight

wow, thats great. we even have artisans and entertainers complaining now. lol.


Good jobon the corevette Devs. Its about time we get some hard content in this game. Keep this stuff coming. A small group went out last night (4 of us total), and we werent able to finish it (almost, but ran out of time). This will actually provide some much needed content to this game.


Not being able to cruise through the missions like everything else in this game is a good thing. My guild is looking forward to completing all 3 missions, no matter how long it takes us.


Don't listen to the whiners and lower the difficulty.

No edit in these forums.


Just a few more thoughts. Can you fix AOE ranged attacks to not go through walls? IE, Adv Strafe 2. It makes it very difficult to contribute to the damage of a mixed group (not everyone being able to focus on mind) leaves me the only person in the group hitting mind. Not being able to use my best special sucks.

I have a few VERY important questions on the corvette:


1. Can a Master CH call pets while inside the corvette (seems like good tanks)?


2. Can your 10 person group include imperials and rebels both (covert)?


3. Is everything in the corvette going to bow down to me?

Well it sucked to put it bluntly ,insanely hard NPC's that like to camp the cloning area I got DB'd by a stormtrooper there 14 times in a row before someone from my group dragged my corpse away and rezed me.The NPCs are INSANE.I had 3 docs and a good number of tka's and other combat classes and we got mopped.I dont like how you cant rebuff ,whats the point of even doing this then?ANd you have to go to three planets that costs a good amount of money to get to.Its a great comcept but the devs strike again,and made this addition that was sopposed to be fun exactly the opposite,I left the corellian corvette with a bad taste in my mouth and probly am not going to do it again until somthing is done about it.Alot of people on my server have the same opinion about this ass well my guild isnt going to do this at all.So praticly the addition was just a waste of time and effort on the devs end.Insame NPC's that like to clone camp and have like a 200k HAM bar is just not fair.

This publish just reinforces the factthat SWG is focused toward the powergamer, not the casual player.


Which is fine, but stop acting like any casual player has a chance in hell of experiencing dungeons like this.


Ever think that the reason one person could solo things like the geonosian cave or krayts is because they have the top most uber equipment and too powerful buffs. Don't make it is ridiculously hard because 1% of the population has the leisure to spend all day in game.


Why did you make buffs an essential part of the game instead of a bonus by making most content impossible without them? I mean, come on. A doctor can "buff" a person from 800 HAM to 4k? Sure it makes the game more fun to have a buff, because the content is designed so that you have to have a buff.


The Corvette shows how much this mentality as permeated the design. 300k HAM NPCthat hit for 4k throuh 90% composite? There goes the buff and uber armor. Sure we can clone back in the ship, you say. But without buffs, which means it's virtually impossible (unless in this case you have a bunch of MBH with lightning cannons).


With your combat revamp, think about this: "nerf" the buff system so that it increases maybe a third of the original HAM. Scale back the creature and NPC HAMs accordingly. Make it so buffs give an edge, but don't eclipse the player without them. I realize that this means people will have a harder time wearing their 90% composite. Great. It should be an asset and a hindrance. That's called balance.


I know people are going to slam me, saying "Stop whining" and that the majority of the postershere have no problem with 85% of the content.


That's because most casual players don't come to these forums. The game is thegame, not these message boards.

it is awsome group of 10 was running thru there killing everything fast. one problem 3 group member accidentally left the corvette via escape pod. they where looking ta terms and accidently double click it.

as far being impossible to do. bs. gotta know how to kill the super droids and i do. if we hadn't lost a group due to no warning that they where about to leave the ship we would of done it. it is all about skill and doing stuff you wouldn't normaly do to win. next time mega goes it will be full guild group and we will clear in 30 mins. promise you on that.

last night was only 5 megetribe with pickup from others. which yeah i knew was a mstake but i knew we wouldn't win but just wanted to learn it. now i know some things and yes next time . we will clear all the droids with no death. promise you on that.
