KURT we need answers not riddles or Cryptic messages when is the Old man gonna visit. how can we tell what group we are in. is the last group going to have to wait days or months and what gives SOE the right to decide when we get the visit if we glow we qualify for the old man we have played by the rules so now can you play by the rules and give us what we have earned.
16 Profs Silent after 1st Holo YAY 7 Silent Profs 80+ Badges and only had strong Sense now added Nyms and I glow. But could have to wait until 2006 for Old man visit.
P.S We should not be charged for waiting on Old Man vist Because servers can handle the Load

Where is the old man? On the TC he came up to you and gave you a crystal. I waited 3 months since pub 9 and it's kickin my @ss. Why is it taking so long for this to work? Wasn't hologrinding a long wait already?

Its plainly obvious this old man is bugged, you cant tell me no one on ANY server is worthy of being visited already. Also there is no walking, the old man is a npc, he SPAWNS near the person then DESPAWNS, he could spawn next to 1000 people all over a server. How many times have you gone out by jabbas or the imp theme park and see 100s of the same NPC? So this crap about the old dude going to every person indivigually is all BS by the fan boys.

I don't understand why they don't speak clear words to us, some csr say "the old man doesnt spawn" some say "the old man is spawning" TH says wait 1-3 days.... **edit** ??? JUST TELL US IS HE SPAWNING OR NOT ????

I am kinda confused about this "glow" everyone is talking about.
When i heared about the new system i desided to stop grinding after my first holo,
because it was my understanding that it would be a simple story based quest
path to becomeing a jedi, but they way i'm understanding this "glow" is that you
still need to grind a certain number of professions to get a visit from the old man?
Could anyone clarify how this system works and how these visits are supposed to work,
do i have to return to the professions grinding if i ever want to get to becomeing a jedi
or will i be able to start down the path without haveing to go that way.
And conserning the Old Man, how will that work, do i have to wait for who knows how long
outsite that village untill i get that visit, or is there some way of knowing your turn
is near.
Also later on if u wanna wait how will that work, will i be able to go to that village
and get that quest to start on the path, or could i end up waiting days when i finaly
decide to go ahead with this jedi path.
Plz anyone that has any good clear answers i'm prolly not the only one who needs this cleared up

Here it is for you in English(if you can read or write in English)...............if you already earned your jedi, the shadowy figure will visit you within 3 days. 3 days means within 72 hours, or 3 server restarts. This is being done because of all of the lag that would ensue following 1/7 of the people who play on eclipse all trying to spend the first 48 hours in the jedi villiage. Your balls haven't been smashed, but your intellect has certainly been challenged in many ways i assure you.

I have a question, everyone is talking about the people who hologrinded, and have all the professions mastered... what about the newer people? I've been playing for about 4 months now, and when I went in during publish 10, I had "A Surge of the force" being very excited, I finished off the Warren, and Nym's, Now I am Glowy too, and I'm curious... You've seperated everyone into Groups... I've only mastered 1 profession, and I have no clue if its "holo" or not. So how long do I (probably in group 4 or 5) have to wait... is it an extra day or two? A week? Or do I have to waita few months.... *sigh*

Thunderheart, you and the devs have left us in a state of mass-confusion because of your deceit and vague explanations.
It is time to spell out who is in the automatic group, who is in the other groups and whether the Old Man is working or not.
Stop being vague and giving half-answers. Hundreds of people are still waiting around like idiots and getting stressed because of yourunwillingness to explain anything!

Hundreds of people are waiting around like idiots while thousands are complaining like morons. just play the game as usual for 3 days if you are glowey, after that if no visit, then start asking these questions.

We were never informed of this delay in the first place. Furthermore it's not just about waiting. Don't you understand? The automatic qualification group gets visited in 1-3 days, but NOBODY WILL TELL US WHO'S IN WHAT GROUP.

What I don't understand is that those who "unlocked" post publish 9, need to wait for the old man, which can take up to 3days (69 hours, minus maintenance time). This is very frustrating (BAH!). I am bored ATM, NS elder did it, rebel themepark did it, 29 professions did it, heroism quest did it, corvette did it, warren quests did it, POI's did it, events did them, talus, naboo, tatoonie, dantoonie, etc...all explored and kill all high lvl npc's and creatures. Content is very low in this game, which leads to increased boredom
Feedback: Increase spawn time or visit time for ppl who 'automatically' receive a visit. This is taking too long! However, if there are errors to which explain teh procrasination of the 'Old man', then tell us. If you are willing to lie on small matters, makes the path easier for bigger and dangerous lies
