The Imperial Letdown is such a disappointment. I have never been scanned, all I see is Rebels slaughtering Stormtroopers. I think maybe someone got their wires crossed somewhere. Maybe this patch was supposed to be the Imperial Crack Ho, a new profession?

SWG is a lot like the Nicotrol System.

With each patch, you're that much closer to quitting.

The biggest problem about the Imperial Crackdown is that most Rebels use it for FP Farming. Everyone knows this.

So the best would be, to solve this problem, to stop gaining FP from Imperial Crackdown NPC's.

Yet again I ask...

Since any Rebel that attacks a Imperial NPC recieves a TEF (when Covert) then why can't Imperial PCs intervene?

I mean, having 10-15 STs backing me up, I could do some damage. You get the drop on them because of the TEF!

PLEASE, you guys keep posting your complaints about faction farming, but no one answers this question.... If you do not give a clear answer to this question, then why should the devs listen to your complaints?

The poor stormtroopers are so outclassed. No amount of spawning will fix the part were they just get hosed by players. They need backup really badly. Why not give them some cool stuff like imperial driodeka, pets, and turrets?

Something I wonder is why we have to goto a recruiter to declare our affiliation? Covert I understand, but overt? Shouldn't I just be able to whip out my Sargent's badge and start wailing on the obvious enemy? Can't I shout, "For the Empire!" and charge in? What does the recruiter do? Put our names on a billboard?

The empire has a lot of manpower- they are all just running around covert. Here's an idea, give players a small FP award for going overt if they are within range (50m?) of an ally under attack. Since going covert takes an hour or death, farming this award wouldn't be a big problem.

Rebel here... & yea the STs are not hard enough.

Up the level of the STs & have a imperial recruiter somewhere in the area. Not that it matters to me, I can get my STs from missions & make some money at the same time. =)

i know this has been said before.... but i figure if i whine about it too something will get done

so here goes.........

STROMTROOPERS ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH!!!! They need to be bale to hit something ......... heck their aim is probably the most ture thing that depicts the movie.... in the movie they couldnt hit #### and hey guess what? in SWG they cant hit ####.... go figre.. they managed to get something that should have been tweaked but not for realism... in the real SW ST's shoudlnt be pushovers.... the HAM levels need to be upped JUST a tad bit .. they need to be able to do more damage and need to go back to marksmenship school

Need Squads of St's being marched around bye a imperial officer or a Dt. Some at-st's patrolling and maybe an At-at to "secure" the captial . I wasa bit disspointed. It was however friggin kewl when a little probot whipped me off my bike and told me to not move and scanned me. Way out in the middle of no were 7000m from town too.

Stormtroopers aren't strong enough??? Where do you get that idea. They may need to add something to the defenses, but DO NOT change the Stormtroopers. If you think they should be more difficult, look at the ability of a Master Smuggler. A MASTER can barely kill one, let alone a group. Now, if Han Solo is killing these stormtroopers left and right, then the Stormtroopers are already stronger than they should be. What needs to be done, is added defenses, more stormtroopers, more atsts, some atats.

You don't need to fix what isn't broke. More things need MORE attention anyway.

I can't say that I argue with that. Good thoughts, bro!

Ummm ok.

I didn't go through all 14 pages of this, so someone else might have already voiced thier frustration.

I'm on Gorath. Since this started, I haven't been scanned, I haven't seen a single shakedown, I haven't seen any Probots come crashing into the wilderness... I play all the time, so it's not like I never leave my city.

Any ST patrol I run into in the wilderness just stands there (or line-dances) - never scanning. Just standing there like a bunch of idiots. It's REALLY LAME.

The Imp Crackdown to me is so far is this: A bunch of statin spawn STs for Rebs to harvest FP from. Yippeee.

I really hope this is just the beginning and someone does something... or else this is ANOTHER failed attempt at content.

They need to use the specials they have access to. That should fix all the problems. All NPCs need to use the skills their professions allow.

Imp CD is fun for me a reb. I get to go around and swat ST's all day. My friends and I went to Espa and layed the smackdown on every ST there. It was a blast! Then one lone Imp PC player came in an dhe started to take us on. He was a good sport and we started chasing him around town. He ducked around a corner and we were met by a squad of imp ST's. Ah, he lead us right into a trap it was awesome!! Of course we out numbred him and the STs weren't enough to take us all out but a one of us got incapped once. The guy stayed around and fought against us until shutdown using the NPC spawns and hunting down some loners in our group that straggled off. It was a fun time, no greifers no kiddies just good fighting.

Other than swating ST's though I haven't noticed a difference in game play or game atmosphere. But I like the way things are now because of the STs in imp controlled towns. Maybe a few AT-ST's here and there would be cool.
