Wait why Pazzak? From my understanding Pazzak was anold game that evolved into modern day Sabacc (The game that Han won the Falcon in). They're rules are very similar, yet Sabacc is a modern game.

Also, what about Dejarik (The "chess" game R2 and Chewie played...Let the Wookie Win!)

Hi all!

I have a little idea for vehicles. I would keep the decay bar they have as hit point, that is good but I would make it decay at least 100 times slower and I would add another bar which would be the energy bar in the way you see fit. That could be a battery or fuel that we buy at some places orevenmake the fuelcraftable from a given combination of resources why not. Also I would make them so you can take them out everywhere or I would add an option to the radial menu to stop the engine so it stops burning energy. The way things are for vehicles at the moment it is just an extremely expensive tool if you dont have scout skill. I put regularily 10k credits per day on my swoop bike in repairs.

To Whom it May Concern: After considering many of the professions that are available, it struck me that, in my opinion, a very important profession was missing. That profession being the "Mercenary". Someone who was for hire, by either side of the the Galatic War. The Roman Empire used Mercenaries,Britian employed Mercs, "Hessions", against theColonies during the War of Independence. Mercenaries have always been available. This profession would be able to fight for which ever side, Rebel or Imperial that was willing to pay for the services. After all, in reality Han Solo was a Merc of sorts. Yes he was a smuggler, but he was also willing to do anything for anyone when it meant credits. Not sure exactly how it would work, but roughly, anyone being a Merc would receive a TEF from which ever side he or she fought for and perhaps the TEF would last longer then normal. A mercenary, if they had the training, would be able to heal or cure either side, again for a fee and knowing they would be open for attack by theopposite side. I would think perhaps even be able to take either Rebel or Imperial missions, for which they received credits, but no faction points.

Such a profession would open a variety of options for a character, which are not available at the moment. Character's could become more involved with the story line, as they wouldn't be required tojoin a faction, but be employable by a member ofa faction to assist with the mission, again receiving credits from the employer, but not a badge. Merc's don't care about badges ormedals, they just want to be payed.

These are my thoughts, not exactly withmuch detail I suppose, but then again, I'm not a developer. Just an average run of the mill person, who came up with an idea.

Sincerely, MadProfGG

I'm sure it's known that there were mercenaries who weren't full on bounty hunters. They have jobs that bring in most of their income and they perform mercenary work to make extra money.

Really, a merc class includes anyone that can fire a pistol, rifle, carbine, or in some cases rely on hand-to-hand combat.

Honestly with the way the economy is, the only people who will be struggling to make a few credits are the newcomers to the game. Even that won't last for too long anyway.

We don't need new 'professions' - There shouldn't be a Mercernary profession, hell there shouldn't even be a Bounty Hunter profession in terms of skill development. Mercs, Bounty Hunters .... these are JOBS and not skills. One of my biggest Pet Peeves in SWG, is that they are treated as skills ... Ok, learn Master Scout and Master Marksman, and you can be a bounty hunter!

It drives me that I need to learn all this stuff to get a mark.

So I'm standing at the entrance to Coronet Starport, and the "local chat" tab scrolls by with light speed because of all the spam. "selling this resourse!" "WTB that resource!" "selling another thing!" "who'll sell me such and such!?"

So I'm thinking... there's GOT to be a better way. What this game really needs is a commodities market. not a bazaar where you basically put a low-level item and set a price, but a real full blown commodites market where prices are affected by supply and demand. This would not be for sophisticated items that require a lot of skill to make like armor or wapons (those would continue to be delegated to indivisual artisans), but for more basic ones like resources or spices or whatever where a certain item is the same no matter who gathers or makes it.

And if you're going to have a commodities market, why not add equities market so business professions can form official corporations and sell stocks, bonds, etc?

That will also allow a "Financier" elite profession with skill trees to manage commodities, equities, real-estate (lots), and whatnot.

Right now despite all the effort to have vendors and shops, a lot of seling is still going on through chat channels instead of the proper way - through role playing.

I think the PvP needs to be revamped. How about having us all able to attack other players at will, without actually slaying them? Attacking players without provocation triggers "outlaw" points. The greater our "outlaw" rating, the more likely we are to have stormtroopers or bounty hunters looking for us? It's really annoying when somebody says something out of order and you can't respond by shooting them! We could all build up reputations as "gunslingers"!

It would also be really atmospheric to enter a "dangerous" town like Mos Eisley, and have to worry about smugglers or bounty hunters using us as target practice. As it is, there is no fear factor in entering a dangerous cantina or city, and the grind of everyday life just takes over.

We need a third faction. Please bring it back, we know it was scrapped during the initial testing because of time contraints. But now we want at least one more playable side to this war.

Jabba!

Come on, how cool would it be to actually make Jabba's Palace do something in game?

Please!!!

Bounty Hunting Should not be a Profession, but an aspect of PVP gameplay.

As players participate in the GCW, and earn more hate from their opposing side, the game can automatically place a Bounty on their heads. Any player can then go to a Bounty Hunter mission terminal to accept the mission. If they find the player and kill him, they will earn the reward for the Bounty. But when they kill an opposing faction member, they will lose faction, leading to bounties being placed on their own heads.

But first, a Bounty Hunter must FIND their bounty head. Enter the Smuggler skill tree "Underworld Connections," which in this example will allow them to talk to the "unsavory" characters in Cantinas to get information about their Bounties whereabouts. Novice Smuggler will allow a Player to find a Bounty by Planet only. UC1 will allow players to find bounties by general area on a planet (north, south, central, etc.). UC3 will allow players to get a static Waypoint to a boutnies current position (though the bounty may not be there when you get there). Master Smuggler (or perhaps UC4) will grant players the ability to use Seeker Droids (made by DE) to track down bounty heads, using them like blood hounds.

A bounty head can ONLY be killed by a player who has accepted the Bounty Mission. So as not to grief the bounty head, once a Bountyhead is killed, the bounty disperses, and they will have to lose the required amount of faction for a bounty to placed on them again. Also, they can only be incapped, not DB'd. DBing them would just be obnoxious.

I don't know if this is the right place or if anyone cares but i'd really like to see MANY more styles of clothing, more colours for clothing palette, one of the main things that has made me like this game more is that your character can be customised, but i've seen so many people that look simular, i'd like to see alot more customisation options, so thats

hair styles/ colours (isn't there hair dye anywhere else in the galaxy?)

more clothing:-

Gloves

Headwear

Footwear

Jackets

ummm basically all of the clothing and maybe 1 or 2 new styles of armor......i also had the idea of armor for pets, would that be at all possible???

Ok this is an idea I have put a lot of thought into on how to make swg more starwarsy (grammar). With the space expansion coming and all I think space flight should open up a whole new world to swg. Not just Imp rebel battles with tie fighters and x-wings. You devs should really make the space flight as detailed as possible. Dont just have 5 space crafts. have at the least 12 or so. Make players be able to have a ship that has to be run by 3 or more people to fly. Say one drives where he/she is in first person mode and seeing the window of the ship, being able to steer in every which way. Another 2 or 3 players man the turrets in case of a little randevaue (spelling) with some space pirates.( in that case it is real time combat, they have to aim at the ships.) And then say another player has a planetary map with radar, to navigate. Also say if u were to get shot down and crash land in the middle of no where on say like danttoine....let your ship just be totaled so u go out on foot or speeder to the nearest town to get a (for space flight swg will need a new proff like mechanic) mechanic to come out and fix your ship.

This is a idea ive put alot of thought into and possibly worded it wrong so in advance if I posted in wrong place or spelling/grammar is bad...forgive me

Oh a devs...wonderful job on what is to come in updates....I must say swg DOES get better every day for me.
