Pazzak is great. I hope that the cards aren't made by artisans though, just the basic set. The more special ones like the +/- ones should be rewards from missions or limited blueprints for artisans to make them. I'd suggest allowing the interface to include two people as well, you really need to allow people to wager bets with one another. Sabaac from what I understand is derived from Pazzak except the cards randomly change values.

Personally, I found pazzak incredibly dull. Playing it in kotor left me wishing they had sabaac instead.

Give me interference fields, the idiot's array, and skifters. Give me sabaac.

I think multiple factions (other than reb or imp) is a great idea. It can do a lot for the rp factor. I recently started up a guy on Bria that I wanted turn into a tusken raider, although I realized about halfway into it that tuskens don't drop their clothes anymore and people are charging ridiculous amounts for the stuff now. Kind of a tangent, sorry, but it would be near if I could actually become one. just the two cents.

A suggestion.

Please make buildings in NPC cities somehow inhabitable.

Let me say that my favorite city to stay around in the game is Coronet City. I guess I'm just a sucker for the big city life, but Coronet does for me what Theed and Bestine fail at doing; making me look up at all the tall skyscrappers, giving me the best spot to sell and buy stuff and giving me the best cantina in the game.

With all of this considered, it would most definately be a pain for me and people with my mindset to have to leave Coronet, search out a far away player city, and set down a house.Because of this, Ithink thatletting players have apartments/houses inCoronetbuildings(or any NPC city)would be a good thing. If you couldn't hollow out everybuilding, then perhaps you could take a page from Anarchy Online and just make a personal space for people.

This wouldn't be only applicable to living spaces. Could you imagine how much good it would do for NPC cities if players could live there AND set up street level shops? No longer would people only be compelled to go to the Starport, the Cantina and the Bazaar in cities. They could go home or to their favorite merchant's shop! Players would have a nice conveient place to keep their stuff and relax, and merchants would have store space in prime areas!

Oh well, it's just an idea.

I'd like to run with the idea of non-DB pvp between all players that was brought up. I think consentual PvP is important. There are a lot of folks playing the game who are in it strictly for PvE and social reasons, and whatever floats your boat is fine with me. But I like the idea of crowded places feeling "dangerous," as was described. What if the two faction states (covert and declared) were tweaked a bit to where anyone who is in a faction is attackable by the other faction but can only be DBd if both are declared? There's a lot of potential for griefing there, which I guess would be the main problem. Neutrals would need to be left out of it for PvP to be consentual at all. Shooting a covert would have to have a timer (one griefing per 10 mins ), and also have to have some sort of implication, like a chance for a "police" spawn, which would delay the actions of the aggressor long enough for the NPC "police" (be it storm troopers, corsecs, RSF, whatever) to put a serious hurtin on you. Either that or put TRULY dangerous NPCs in places like the Mos Eisley cantina. If there was an NPC likeCas Venkoo (or whatever the hell his name is) standing in the corner of the cantina waiting for someone to piss him off (but he's not attackableuntil HE aggros), people might think twice before getting into heated arguments. Maybe he could even have a profanity monitor on him to determine when someone is getting out of line, or randomly scan someone's inventory every so often to see if they have an item he might like (not that he could take it, but that wouldn't stop him from killing you). Hell, a high level NPC to shoot randomafk grinders would be great too

I also think allowing players to join Jabba's faction would be awesome, but it couldn't be for everyone. Possibly only smugglers and bounty hunters, maybe weaponsmiths (gun trade black market)?

One last idea: lets get some higher interaction going with the famous SW characters. There's an Imperial Stronghold on Corellia that Rebels LOVE to go to for faction farming (I do it myself when I'm bored). How awesome would it be for Darth Vader to spawn there every so often with 800k HAM and 100% resists and chase everyone out? I'd almost pay to have my ass handed to me by the Dark Lord. Or maybe even a Bounty Hunter gets to the waypoint of his mark to find Boba Fett standing over the mark's corpse (BH still gets the XP but also gets a ride back to the cloner). How about a Rebel smuggler carrying contraband gets stopped by Storm Troopers in Coronet and Han Solo spawns to save the day? Obviously the SW characters would have to be made invincible, and so their actual impact could only be superficial, but it would be great to see them in action instead of just pieces in a static quest.

i like the fact you can become a politician -- but someone please do something to make this profession fun. I think they just need to add more features that allow a politician to set city laws. Like no Wookiees! (Sorry but you guys leave those hairballs all over the place)

MY NUMBER ONE COMPLAINT -- about politicians is the voting system! What was the point of this one. The current system (in my city at least) is that the incumbent politician gets every vote --THAT IS NOT CAST -- so basically in my 58 member city I need 30 votes to become mayor -- while the other guy needs NONE! I I am all for majority wins -- but how is 28-0 and still losing a majority. Switch this around -- make these incumbents actually work for thier vote.

It just forces anyone who want to become a politician to start thier own city rather then running campaigns.

I know what your saying... just get 30 votes -- good luck as in my player city at least-- 9/10ths of the citizens don't even visit there.

Give player cities SpyNet operatives.

We don't just need trainers, BH terminals are useless for n00bs like me if you have to hike to the nearest city to get your mark's waypoint.

You may just as well stay in the city. So, like hiring NPC trainers, please give citiies SpyNet!

PLEASE Devs give us a CityChat!! I think this has been brought up several times. This would help us communicate tremendously. setting up chat channels all the time is very annoying. I dont think this would be very tough to implement either, since GuildChat is already available.

Awsome! Pazaak was a fun and simple little game. Adding sabaac, though, I'm sure would make a huge number of players (myself included) jump for joy.

I gamble with my friend and a chance cube now. That thing hates me. I'm the most unlucky smuggler in the galaxy...

There should be the ability to level up in your master profession. For example, after a player makes Master Bounty Hunter, they can choose to keep leveling under profession, increasing their statsand eventually becomea level 60 Bounty Hunter.

The game should also have more types of weapons and armor and special types that can only be looted. Certain types of weapons and armor can only be made by players, and others can only be looted off certain enemies. Both typeswould have their advantages in certain areas.

Ok, I'm about to give you guys a golden ticket to popularity with the general public. As you guys are aware, the current system for rolling missions leaves MUCH to be desired. Right now, its more or less a crap shoot. An individual basically has to sit there and roll and roll and roll to be able to get the missions they want.

Now of course this bug report was inspired by personal incident. Ive been at a mission terminal for literally 20 minutes here in anchorhead trying to roll dragonet missions. I know i can roll them for I've done 6 of them already. No one has joined or left my group, and I should be able to roll them now. The pay out is 7k so I keep rolling till I see it.

But now seriously folks, what have you or we to gain by the way the system currently works? Why not put some of the power back into our hands? Why not let us, upon using a mission terminal, be given a read out of all the types of missions we can roll give our current damage out put, skills, strenght of group etc, give us an option to select from whatever mob we want to hunt on that list, let us choose our direction, approximate distance etc? The challenge currently faced in trying to roll missions is neither rewarding nor interesting. It is nothing more than tedium.

Yet if you guys gave us the ability to cutomize what missions we want, i PROMISE you guys that you would win immense favor with the crowd. (I present an increase in popularity as an incentive because from the perspective of a paying player, the situation atm is looking grim. Many people are becoming increasingly frustrated with this and other such discprepencies in the game. When theres no logic behind the current system yet the current system makes the game difficult and frutrating, the overall reaction is increased in a negative direction almost exponentially).

There is so much potential to be had with these missions and I would imagine that remedying the problem wouldnt prove to be your greatest challenge, yet the rewards of it for both sides of the fence here would be great. Basically the input/payout ratio here is only win win for us all.

For a good example of how such a mission system would or could work, I would perhaps present the system utilized on Anarchy Online as a noteworthy paradigm. Look that system over and see if theres some way such a system can be implemented in one fashion or another here in SWG.

Again, please dont ever look this idea. From the side of your subject group, viz. your paying customers, this is a huge issue and one that would REALLY increase the overall gameplay.
