I bet I'll hear something like "Our system doesn't support variables."
I will not PvP now.
They will not force me into PvP with the Imperial crackdown and If I have to resign my faction, so be it.
I cancelled my account yesterday morning because of this and things aren't made right by the time my account runs out, March 1st, I am outta here to explore other gaming options.

I basically agree to what he's said.
They seem to think they know better than the players, what is good and what is bad for the fun in the game.
They dont need to tell us reasons, they just know it better.
This makes me a bit sad actually.
Sometimes i see steps in the right direction (Imp crackdown ect.), but then come things like this.......
Finally you have an oppurtunity to make this game a little more fun. I bought suits of armor for my friends. We all got set up. We were ready for this no item decay. We planned on hunting but just needed a little break from this decay. There are so many ways to die in pvp that they have got to remove this decay. Being a cm, if you don't have a doc in your group or pretty experienced, I have won and you are going to be paying a good 2k for your equiptment not to mention the nice 1% decay on it. Look I am going to put my armor away... unless i go hunting on endor or dant. I will not deal with this decay anymore because to be honnest, my armor is too nice to be wasting on SOE. Remove the decay so this GCW can get better. If you do not, this game will continue to not have the feel it used to in the beginning of the game. The better players will continue to leave. You will still get paid your money because this is Star Wars not because you guys are good at making a game. I will continue to be a rich pain poisoning everything and simply hassling people because at least they will give me a challenge rather than these NPC's.
FIX THE GAME, I AM TIRED OF THIS.
I know your tricks that you use to try to keep playing the game. Put Steak in front of the starving dog and watch him run after it. Well, you don't have to do that. Enough of this wait for the update, i promise it will get better to keep membership. Just do a nice job, make a world that George Lucas would say this is amazing. Create A star wars galaxy.
I will have to live with your poor choice on decay but I will continue to try to make this game more star warsy for my friends and I expect you to do it too.

Dear JustG, the community does not have a problem with TH. It may seem like that, but he is just caught in the middle. I understand this and I hope everyone else does too. But my biggest gripe is why do the Devs not grant the request of everyone playing/paying? From readingwhat the majority says on these boards, they dont seem to listen or care. Im glad TH tries and fight for us, but the Devs dont seem to listen to he either then.And now we come to the Decay issue, which they (the devs) finally buckled and gave us what we asked, but now its being taken away. Thanks is just not right and I hope they change there mind to make a happy comminity again.
In my personal opionion, if your looking for a solution for the decay issue, I dont have one. Because there are already so many great suggestions on this topic already here and in other threads. I just ask that the decay get removed until this can be resolved by a permanent solution that we all can agree on. Until then, I will keep killing creatures, not other players.
Just a couple questions here....
If you are not going to listen to the community that pays your salary, why even fake it? Be honest with us. Tell us that you are going to make this game how you see fit and nothing that we say or do will have any effect on it whatsoever.
That would be fine. At least you'd be looking us in the eye before we get bent over. Mister Gary stated to place the blame on his shoulders. You know what happens in most companies when blame for a mistake is rested squarely on the shoulders of one man? Yeah...thought you did. "YOU" from the SWG community includes everyone from sony, right down to the little guy who delivers the coffee in the mornings. So when YOU made a mistake, YOU made it. Deal with it.
Crafters don't sit here crying about their stuff not working or the gameplay being too horrible. Ok, so DE's and MA's were whining for a while, but arch's now make better items, and DE's are going to get screwed forever because you can't handle the code to match the proffesion. We know that.
But for the most part, PVPer's make the game exciting. Armor decays naturally when taking damage. If the guy is not pvp'ing, then he's tanking some animals. Using the MCH to tank the animal. Armor is not getting trashed. There is no monster in this game that can not be taken out with 3 guys. This includes your undefeatable krayt dragons. So the decay of 20 imperials against 20 rebels verse the decay of a graul mauler tanking the monstors while 20 rebels and 20 imperials shoot it.....let me see here..stuff is gonna decay faster on which one?
Give it a break, take your "I wanna make this a faction reward for 24 hours" bullcrap and stick it. There is no way for us to tell..but when its a pvp death you don't have to insure again....lies...lies...lies. Be honest, we might actually start to respect you if you try it out for size.

Well as a crafter I totally disagree. Weapons do not decay on death and my business is fine...armor does not need to be hit both by use and by death period. There doesn't need to be a difference for pvp vs pve...decay on death for armor needs to be taken out completely.
Aren't developers suppose to be open minded and take consideration of anything that's viable?
