You know I've always wondered what was up with various houses that exist, have doors but when you try to walk in you get booted out. There are at least 2 or 3 of these types of houses in the "Lost city of durbian" on Talis. And there's also Obi Wan's house. Are these houses just "off limits" for now or is there some type of quest we can start to allow us to enter? Just curious.
i am not one to place many posts in any form of negativity... i have been playing this wonderful game since the 2 week of launch, been through the growing pains the weapon balance the profession balances and all the adjustments and growing pains that come with it... I have been a player that is not a hard core by any means, i play on average 2 hours a night and as most know, have been working my first hybrid profession now for four months..
As an acheivement of master carbineer last week i have found a new problem i have never ran into before and it started after the new patch.. Knock down feature is not working like it did before. I am not recieving a message of "you didn't knock down your target" nor recieving a single knockdown with my newly aquired knockdown2 as a MC.. Is there a new change to the combat structure here, or am i missing something?
The new quests are much better, the story line for the warren is really cool, even though you may need an hour or so to find you way out
lol the content is getting much better! awesome work guys. Keep it up, show us some more pinching, by the imperials, maybe jailtime? stun batons that paralyze? freinds could bust you out of jail, show more damaged areas when structures are destroyed, lets c some debriss with a timer after and before respawning a structure!

I'm playing since beginning of 2004, waited for a more stable version, and I also heard that at last people could unlock slots more easily (I know people that unlocked 2 slots !).
As soon as I started to play, I went in a guild for community relation and I started my Holo quest (so easy by the way) and beginning of February, after grinding brawler, ID, Combat Medic and Pistoleer, I mwas silent.
While grinding, I had a lot of plaisure, and was amazed by the balance of the class, the needs of everything and the fact that the economic is player based, that so inventive and interresting.
My goal was to put the silent prof aside, not to have to care about grinding a specific function anymore.
Then I planned to play a "normal" pattern and switch depending of PvP needs.
But there was theannouncement, the slot unlock will be revamped ???
From what I saw, the "nerf" always made it more difficult to rise a profession.
So I started the race, master Doc, master Scout, master Artisan and was going to master Entertainer but now I don't plan it anymore.
I will master marksman, that will be my last master (4% that it will unlock me probability wise, but that s not the goal, it is needed for my template), then I polish my PvP template for the remaining month andthenCANCEL account...
Why?
Because in no way I will be able to resist powerfull Jedi which will OWN PvP in a near futur, and since I won't be able to be Jedi myself to keep up, I will quit. (I don't play to be Jedi cannon fodder)
And Jedi is now so easy to grind AFK, in one month you can be Jedi Master.
Since futur nerf will make it more complicate to rise the char, we will always be 2 step behind those who are already there.
(congratulation to them btw, way to go, I would rise my char with all the weapon available at a time T).
The game get so frustrating. You try to keep up with other player, you spend all your money to by a crate of 25 pre nerf FWG5 that you are going to slice later, and the later was after publish 6 which make the crate USELESS, you are so happy :-) (It was when I started to consider I did good to pay only 1 month to see first, and not 6 month which was what I planned first).
Of course it will happend again for other things, so why bother ???
And you want uber things to disapear? Don't worry I won t do give away so adozen of pre nerf krayt pistol will go away with my cancellation.
This is no whinning, it is facts.
And I'm not a fan of X-wing VS Tie Fighter, so space expension won't hold me either.
Why I think the Jedi system is not good :
- the Jedi are uber and kill PvP, and I don't call for a nerf.
- If you want to play PvP now, you have to have a High level Jedi thus making the game frustrating looking to unlock.
- All the annoucement, system revamp, nerf calls, cap, blabla whatever rise the frustration even more and make people leave.
What I think would have been best:
- no hidden class to unlock, that s not smart, makes people jalous and frustrated, and it make them leave.
- no High level Jedi available, just like in SW RPG, novice, initiate with very low power and just the possibility to usea light saber (It is what matters in SW, toget light saber fight, I don't care about force lightning (which is BTW a dark side power...))
- those low level power and ability should be available to all, and not be uber and COST more than avarge skill point, but you could be Fencer/swordman using a light saber because you are a novice initiate (for exemple).
Of course nothing of this will ever happen and I now learned that it is not good to start a MMORPG after8 month, everything getting more difficult after lots of nerf and stealth nerf as well.
Back to first love, heroic Fantaisy, at least I got the chance to start WOW at the prime and enjoy it.
And in the Blizzard forum, Ialready suggested they put a light saberavailable as weaponin WOW, that would be soooo funny (something parodic, with fire or light that make noise and is retractable).
To quote the dev about the revamp of jedi system: "always the futur in mouvement is..."
The problem is people want security and fact. You make people feel insecure in the game, I already got my IRL worries, not to be able to have minimal stable plan in a long rungame (what I planned to be a long run first lol).
I got my load of frustration in one month, I don't want to imagine what it would be if I would continue the subscription.
Account cancel and I see only relief.
I'm not bashing the work done, I think the concept (all but Jedi) is amazing, the world is amazing and there is still GREAT potential. Technically, it is also very good.
But the way the Jedi is used as a commercial argument and then the way communication is handel insome subject is just not bearable.
You are a moron! You cannot open more than ONE Force slot...And there is no way in hell you will reach Jedi Master in a month. I also find it hard to believe that you just started playing in January and have already mastered that many professions,unless you're an exploiter.

Here's a real, real, real simple fix for you.
Spraystick is supposed to be Acid damage
Tusken Rifle is supposed to be Kinetic damage
T21 is supposed to be Blast damage

I know I could be a bit more descriptive, but your failure to communicate in the last 5 threads I posted this isn't worth any effort on my side any more. If you need to know what I mean, go back and read it like you should have weeks before. ![]()
I think the GROUP icon needs to be fixed. I'm not sure if it started with just this publish, but I've noticed that I don't see the two-faced group icon anymore, so when I try to invite someone to a group I get the "already in a group" message sometimes...it'd be nice to know who's already in a group so I don't waste my time trying to invite him/her.
Also at least let us enter our own houses and player city structures when TEFed and don't eject us if we get a TEF while inside such a structure.
I have an issue with the new tipping code. I /tipped two people: one person twice for1000000 and 410000 creditsand one person once for 100k credits. Afew minslater I got this message:
This was the only message received. It didn't specify which tip failed or whether they all failed. This is insufficient as a player since I now have no idea who I still owe money to. I am a merchant and I run some vendors for people and I have to wire them their funds when I add up their sales. I also rent some lots from occasional playersand if I send them a tip and it fails I wont even know whether they just haven't logged in for a week or whether the tip failed, they logged in the next day, and just didn't receive the money they should have. I don't get an email confirmation until after they have logged in which could be anywhere from 1 minute to 1 year.

Please address this issue. If there is a chance of failure on a tip there needs to be an email notification given for every failed tip to tell who the tip didn't go through to and how much the failed tip was for. There also needs to be some immediate or relatively quick feedback to let a player know that he hasrequested a fund transfer so he will again have some record of having sent or at least tried to send the funds.
Also, after the first couple of times I died, I noticed that my combat log was not showing the usual "your chest plate prevented xxx damage" messages. Not sure if it wasn't working, or just wasn't getting written to the combat log.
