I would like an official response from the developers on "kill stealing". Do the DEVs approve? Do the DEVs want it to happen? Do the DEVs consider it wrong and against the game rules? And are the DEVs even considering a way to put a stop to it?

Hrm, I was holding off posting this until they made it to some Top 5 list or something. Here are some issues I see, and hopefully someone important will read them:


Lights


Not enough of them. Anywhere. The addition of new light sources for internal use is good, and the streetlamps have helped in player cities, but in general the gameworld is just far too dark. We're supposed to be in a future society that is well past the industrial age, and there is no light sources in the world. All civic buildings should have external lights. All houses should have front door lights. All harvestors and factories should have lights (not the little blinking ones, but those that light up the surrounding terrain). Vehicles should have high beams on them that stay on when you get out.


In-game Information


Not easy to fix but there just isn't enough information accessible ingame. You can't tell who owns a house. Unless you are in a guild you can't tell who the guild leader is, or any other information about the guild. Unless you are in a group you can't tell who the group leader is, etc, etc, etc. The list goes on and on. You can't tell who owns a factory or harvestor. You can't tell who owns a vendor (except by getting the details of whoever put the items up for sale). There are so many areas where there is just a general lack of detail/information display.


Personally I'd like to be able to see who owns any particularly targetable item (so for houses, you could target the front door sign, examine it and see who owns the house). Factories and harvestors are already targetable so just add the owner tag to that. Guildhall terminals (at least that information screen) should beaccessible to non-guild members, so they can see the size of the guild, its tag and its leader and maybe also able to see those capable of sponsoring them. Maybe there should be special guild 'vendors' that are nothing but placable NPCs that can bark a message regarding the guild. Certainly guild terminals need to display whether the guild is recruiting and any special requirements for entry.


I also have issue with the idea of vendors and auctions. Auctions on vendors are useless because no-one knows its going on (hence everyone posting auctions to the forums), and secondly the auctions on the bazaar are limited, again making them entirely pointless for any decent use by the vast majority of players. This can be put down as a general lack of information dissemination in game, which goes along with lack of advertising capability (again lack of information). In general, any area where the players have to post information external to the game, is a definate sign of a lack of ingame support. So you can summarise that Auctions, Advertising, Product Information, Guild Information, Player Events, Resource Information and Schematic Information are all areas lacking in-game support.


I always use the following addage, "The more players are forced to leave the game to get something, the less often they come back to the game."

Oh one more thing:


Loading screen tips


Many people suddenly discover the ability to flip merchant vendor/bazaar windows to the next page, but only after 5 months of playing.


This seems to be one of the things like the Light (CTRL-L) that needs to be shown on the Loading screen tips. Its not obvious enough, its difficult to change without changing the whole UI of the vendor/bazaar screen. So just make it an obvious tip in the client.


There's quite a few other things that need to be put up as tips on the loading screens as well. Just look at the tips thread and see what the most common ones are.

I have a concern, what is happening with apprentice point ? With the changes to jedi - no more holo grind - It is going to become even harder to get these points. Is there any planned additional way to get ap ?

I recently acquired a +5 med crafting/+5 med experimentation apron (from a Jabba's themepark schematic) and was dismayed to see that it could not be equipped onto a Wookiee! Is this a developer's oversight or are you purposely punishing Wookiee crafters. Certainly they could be made to fit all species like the new Chef's aprons. Can we please get this changed?

I completely agree, although the major cause of lag is not really the server, but all the ppl that are there and inside the cabtina, although the lag there is better when I visited last a few days ago. So, they are improving it, but it depends on the players machine as well, so they can only do so much.


I agree with AviontVong that we need wookie armor! give us something to level us with the other player species!!







I was kind of talking about Dathomir though but yea, fix the lag on both planets.
