If they are out in the nowere I see no problem for them. You hardly ever run into someone there, so what is the problem with having a TEF then? Unless we are talking about harvesting in POI that are nowhere.

TEF and perma death was there for a reason, to keep the Jedi population at an acceptable low level. The removal of TEF and perma death have shown that the Jedi population will grow beyond control without them. So please reintroduce some control mechanisms to keep number of Jedi down and in hiding.
Do you think all those Jedi in cities unlocked after Publish 9? No.. Population was always same before publish.. You just didnt see or notice them while everyone was wearing composite armor including jedis..
Sorry but you only see 'minority' of Jedis inside cities and decent jedis are still advancing in middle of nowhere... Punishment for minority will affect majority and you really dont want that...
As I repat again, Jedi TEF (yes -inside city for showboats.. plus inside city if you use force powers, you are directly in BH terms, no escape, take a BH with you and kill him/her if you are angry that much)
Out in wild (no, preventing grief fest)

Please stop messing with the game. Any way that it goes is going to have complaints, going to have detractors and proponents. Why compound it by messing with us too? This changes, then it changes again, then it changes back, then that changes, and all the while the correspondent/player-based issues go largely unaddressed. Opportunities for minor enhancements are overlooked in lieu of all the jerking around changes we players are being subjected to for the grand design, that is a design by the seat of the pants, apparently. My goodness if we jerked our customers back and forth like this dev team is doing to players, people be out of a job. Who's minding the shop?
The main issues I've seen common around here have to do with the path to achieving jedi (not the jedi itself, just how you get it), and the bounty hunters and smugglers. Other than that, whats all this other stuff we're being subjected to? Combat balance? Why? Something else to look forward to? Did you ask for a combat balance? I didn't. Jedi tree changes? Did you ask for that? I don't recall seeing any mass uproar over the jedi trees... where did that come from? We just beefed about getting to jedi, not the trees that had existed. Jedi armor? Why? Jedi TEF? Why? Jedi death xp? Huh? 200k? Why? Saber revamping? Why? Why nerf house storage and at the same time hand out paintings and new rug and other non-essential house loot? Are you guys absolutely vapid? There is no way crafters can subside or operate conveniently with 3 bags per house, AND attempt to decorate? Are you absolutely f'ing out of your minds? What are you guys on? Cause we players would like some of that happy juice. We need it after what you put us thru week after week, or daily.
Whats with the ongoing nerfing? Why so many at once? Why not let things simma for a while before yanking us customers in another direction again? Pick your battles and make major changes sparingly. Sprinkle in some of the things the players have asked for, like 5 minute ship waits.
What are all these fundamental changes? Then back, then sideways. Mass mismanagement.
QUICKLY ditch the jedi robes except as clothing, reinstate jedi ability to wear armor like other players, swap the 200k death penalty for a 20k death penalty, and increase the house storage by 4 times... and then just sit for a while. DONT DO ANYTHING... let things simma... and sort... and digest.
My god. Why am I here?

FRS system is not working.
There are far too little overts or light jedi to kill for experience.
- Increase XP earned per kill.
- Decrease XP needed for ranks.
- Create another way to earn FRS XP.
Most of the time while people raid a city 1 or 2 goes overt therest gets a tef and currently we get -1 XP for DB'ing a teffed person.
I play 14hours a day and i barely see any overts running around let alone ranked light jedi, i get maybe 500 xp in those 14hours.
I even have to ask friends or randomto duel me so i can DB them for XP.
Thunderheart can you go into chat with the developer of this system and ask if he has any ideas to solve this?
Here is a hint. We refuse to be jedi content we are here for our enjoyment not yours. This post will self nerf in 30 seconds.
what goes around comes around, huh?

Issue: Male Rodian Meatlumb model is screwed up
Server: Infinity
Planet: Corellia
Location (x,y): -40 -4080
Your profession: Master Teras Kasi, Medic 4/4/4/0, Marksman 3/2/4/4, Scout 3/0/4/0, Brawler 4/0/0/0
Instructions on how to recreate the bug: At the above co-ordinates was a Meatlumb Loon (i think) spawn. wait for a rodian to spawn and watch him jiggle

that's neither a bug nor is it unbalanced.
It takes jedi over 7 mill JEDI xp to be able to do that.

Issue: Overt players being able to give Jedi Force-Ranking points and the removal of the Jedi TEF
Maybe this has already been said, but I don't quite understand why this was allowed. At Fan Fest, there were quite a few questions asked about the Force-Ranking system and concern about the potential for an overpopulation by Jedi. We were assured that once a Jedi started on the path to Force-Ranking that it would not be beneficial for them to engage in PvP with non-Jedi and could only hurt them with xp loss if they did not win. This was to keep the Jedi from running rampant over the rest of the population.
Why was this changed?
It was also my understanding that Jedi would not be able to "show-off" in highly populated areas without risk of retaliation. Without the Jedi TEF, I am curious as to where the risk is.
FRP should be difficult to attain. If the high-level Jedi are meant to be rare and high-end content, it should take awhile to get there. This also allows for newer Jedi who wish to pursue this path an entry point. They should be in their own little world, so to speak.

we are put on BH lists for any kind of force use relating to a humanoid target. Be that personal duels in the wilderness somewhere in your 'private' home, or using anything force related on an npc, or even creature while in an npc area or within 'sight' of one. -200k xp loss is one hell of a damn risk.

I can't stress enough how critical I believe it is that you guys get the 2nd part of the Jedi work done and published live. The Jedi efforts need to be wrapped up so we can all move on. I also think the combat balance deserves the complete attention of a single publish in and of itself.
I would strongly recommend that you consider seperating the combat balance from Jedi part 2. Put out Jedi Part 2 ASAP and have the CB follow.
Best!
