Hope the devs read all of these posts (and make some changes like temporary system for people who played for 6 or more months got to the silent prof but didn't grind 30 proffesions and giving them a extra character)

Thunderheart you really need to sort this out, All devs ca'nt ignor people here, and you msut clear all issues up and quick.

Bugs first:
Swoops etc wont call in the item bar still
Maps on shuttle temrinals are messed up, maps are messed up in one way or the other

For players:
No matter what proefssions you have done/got etc, you need to have certain badges as well to become glowing and make the first step to your quest, so if you have 25 profs and got like 5 badges and none such as the jedi temple for example you will not get glowing.
There are guides on the forums telling you how to do this and wha tyou need.

AS for this late feature thunderheart, well i hate it.
I can see that it is there to stop mass people in the village,and to stagger the jedi unlocking but this is the wrong way to do this.

If you have been playing for a long time, and hated the jedi grind approach and enjoyed having a selcetion of professions but have explored the galaxy and expeirenced the world then this is really unfair.
If anything it should go on how long you have played the game, if you want to do this.

BUT
You shouldnt this should be scrapped and a random timer created for the old man to spwan for each person. Could be 1 day, 2 dyas 3 days, etc, and a max of 7, this will anoy us but is a far better system than this jaw droppingly appaling idea. So people that have done many professions either are away from the game (they are old players and may not be playing but with subcriptions open) or not many people actually do it, or if they are slow doing it, the rest have to suffer, and from what you say it could be weeks and even months for some of us to be even get a chance to go to the vilalge, this is just out right wrong.

Agaon as some poeople said, the casual gamer gets the short end of the sitck, people that like playing th egame in a certain way get the short end of the stick, and favouring some poeple over others when we all pay the same money is jsut wrong.

This needs to be looked like and re-examined, and soon

RPG = "Role Playing Game" NOT "Level Gaining Game"

Try going out and having fun, talking to people, having fun playing a role. If you don't have fun with your character as it is, try something different, you might like it. If you want a game to 'beat', go play something else. It appears that the old man is not set up to visit everyone at once, so I'd go relax, have fun. If you qualify, you'll get your visit. Just don't expect him to be sitting there waiting for you the moment you log in.
