Once again SOE has dissapointed the player base IMHO. Why must I be forced to wait alot longer to be visited by the old man because I did only 16 professions. But, I meet the requirements to get a visit from him none the less. What about the jedi who unlocked at 6 professions? Why arent the penalized somehow? Who cares if the place will lag, thats something we have grown to adapt to since its not uncommon in this game. I am quickly losing my faith in this game. I am forced to wait even longer to even start on the quests. Thank you! I almost thought you all had your act together on this one.

Thank you for efffectively ruining my only reason for playing the last 2 months. I did 4 Holo Prof and 10 more on top of that and stopped grinding towait for this patch. After reading what you just wrote, there is a good chance that A. I wont be let in till Group 3 can go and B. I will get JACK **edit** for credit...

Amount of time some1 has had a character needs to be taken into account with holocredit. I did my 3 holo's then stoped grinding and stayed with the proffesions i liked (enjoyed most of what i have done in the game).
People that hologrinding a lot deserver what they get but people who have played for as long also deserve something (a simple soloution would be if u got to silent and played for 6 months u get extra character but that might be to simple)

Well...ive never really flamed before, but here goes
ONES MORE I HAVE BEEN LIED TO, a gate was created to keep people out of FS, remember what they said...we will never gate the FS system, not only that, but its really not needed, after the shifted server power on TC2, i had no problems in the village and that was more then 10x of what we are going to see on our own servers, and they should have just instanted it, but i guess they lack the vision to get ANYTHING right... im sorry, but this was the straw that broke the camles back, and im thinking about canaling both of my accounts, and i know everyone says that, but i really love this game, but they keep messing it up...i dunno how long i can keep playing a game that doesnt tell the players whats going on....

OMG!!! I have never seen so many damn whiners before!!!!! Threating to cancel your accounts if you don't see the old man today. WTH is wrong with you??? You don't have the patience to wait a few days?? And those of you who didn't holo grind thinking you deserve the same imediate access as those of us who did?? Hell even with those who did, who do you think did more work?? Me who did 25 profession or someone who did 29?? I have no problem waiting while my guild mate goes first. At least I know I'll have access.

2) As stated.. 8 professions were required in the last stretch of the holo-grind. That means up to 4 are told to you by a Holocron, the other 4 you had to guess. Say you are barely sensitive, it could take you a two weeks to make it to glowing (casual play). Do you have a right to complain about having to waist those two weeks? No, because that's the way this system works. Those in the lower levels of force sensitivity WOULD HAVE TO WAIT, REGUARDLESS. Use this time wisely. Who knows, a large portion of the people in the first two waves only need one branch, so they go unlock their 5, run their one quest, and leave the village to do the conversion XP. This could take as little as 24 to do. The DEVs could use that as the signal to bump up the next group.
Relax, breathe, walk away from the computer for an hour, come back, and start doing what you have to do in order to progress. There are WAY to many factors involved here to get all worked up over when the patch is barely a few hours old.
I Did about 10 professions before i gave up the hologrind and I dont mind the people going before me that did more work.
Now get a grip on this... they could have simply told people they were going to do this and avoided a great deal of this headache. You have no idea how livid I was/am when i found that I took a day of vacation for nothing. I am glowing so all I am waiting for is the artificial gate. There are no other factors that I care about than that!

LOL dude what now you want them to tell which one would unlock you?-- I mean leave a litte mystery in it please...
For ONE: DEVS can change anything at anytime and do not have to report to us why.. raising the HOLO count was a good call-- or there would be 5000 more jedi then now-- also not telling us was best it was like the holos in the first place THEY NEVER TOLD US IT WAS 4 +1 in fact not once or would they-- we all asumed we knew -- looks like we didnt nor were ever told... so at least know this:
Choice, if you were lucky to get near your 8 then great if not then you are like so many of us that had to do soooo many profs to unlock and werent lucky then we now know why it got harder lol.
I say BLOODY GOOD SHOW DEVS.. thank you for making this a bit more in depth and not a giveaway...
At least we know why alot of us took 30 or more LOL...
Just chill play the game and enjoy it man...

well here we go again more lies
ok i did all 4 of my holo professions and then open number 5 it was silent then started doing more .
then soe says oh were gona change how it all works and as long as you have all 4 main holo proffs done befor patch 9 you get credit for all the professions you do so on that note i have done 17 proffs and now today i log on for patch 10 and read this nice post stateing that oops we at soe lied to you sorry you dont get any credit for anyof your hard work
sorry i didnt get 20 or 30 proffs done but why do i get screwd on this ? stop allthe damn lies ok were sick of it ok we pay you money for this so knock it off
why dont you do me a favor id just like my second char slot cant you just give me that and you cn keep your jedi stuff let all the lap doggd that prase your efforts do your jedi wonders i just want my second slot

Wow! This new system is a bunch of bs! WTG SOE! Screw something else up for those of us that didn't ever go the holo-grind route in hopes that you would someday figure out something that was of fair advantage to all of us. Many of us are NOT power gamers here.. we do have REAL lives to go about and i'm sorry, but first searching for holos or paying thousands for them and then actually doing some of these professions that I personally had NO interest in just to get a jedi slot was unacceptable to me. And NOW I log on today all excited to do the /che on my toon and get the message "You have an Inner Glow. The Force is with you." So 4hrs later after running missions and taking care of my city still NO damn old guy. I didn't know what i was honestly expecting from a slack ass company such as you, but I was giving you all the benefit of the doubt for once. /bravo SOE! Chase off all your gamers while your at it! We knew we weren't much to you anyways, but good lord.. this is just a slap in the face. I am one customer that will be cancelling my account if you do not correct this BS that you've once again started.
